Great video, not only do you tell us what to put on it and why, but you actually teach us how to do it. It's just me and hubby for Thanksgiving and I wanted to make this for us while we spend the day cooking. 😂My husband is a Chef by trade, but he's not the type to do this. Thanks so much, will let you know how it turns out.
Thank you for all your helpful information and your beautiful presentation! I’ve never made one of these boards I am anxious to try. I really appreciate this video!
I really enjoyed your video and the talking was very helpful making it simpler for me as a beginner ❤ don't worry about the haters they are pretty hungry after watching your video😂❤
Well, now I need an excuse to make a charcuterie board! I made some quince paste that I plan on using (it pairs well with cheese and turned a beautiful deep scarlet), as well as some yellow tomato butter for a different texture. I'd probably go with Gouda, too - our family loves that. The dried apricots are a really nice touch! It's really handy to have a guide for how many people = how many types of cheese and crackers. This will be very helpful for the holidays. Thanks so much!
Loved your video thank you! I have enjoyed a charcuterie board at a restaurant and was eager to try at home. I really appreciated you telling us why you are doing the various things, i need that info 😊. Your completed board looks absolutely delicious and I'm sure your sister loved it. Also that kitchen is beautiful and very welcoming. Looks like a nice place to work 😊❤.
The best video and explanation is very detailed!!! Thank you so very much 🙏!! I am just starting with this. Could you please tell us the exact sizes for your 3 boards you are talking about in the video. This is important to know for the beginners. Thank you in advance:)!
This is Great! I'm having a small cocktail party (8-10 people), so it's Perfect timing too! Never bought a charcuterie board before. Could you please give me the dimensions of the Small, Medium & Large boards, so I have an idea of what to look for? Thank you so much
Lovely! I don’t have specific dimensions since all wooden boards are different, but for small one I would find something around the dimensions of 7”x12,” a medium board around the size of 13”x17,” and a large around 14”x18,” I hope this is helpful!
Where's the meat? Charcuterie is a French term that refers to “cooked meats”-a way of curing or preserving meats long before the advent of refrigeration. These preserved meats are typically pork products (or pork and beef blends) that were seasoned and salted to safely preserve them. Not cheese!!!
Great observation, you must not have watched most of the video however. If you are familiar with prosciutto, salami, and capicola, I used these three within the video. Yes, that is the traditional method, however the more modern term of “charcuterie board” is a board filled with a variety of foods that are served prior to eating your main dish.

@@AmandaPalmasCookbook Thank you so much!💖
Love this so much thank you!!! Will definitely be referring to it often for inspiration 💕
Yay! I’m so glad!! 🥰
How do you transport this and keep it intact? Thank you! You have expanded my view of what works together. Mine will no longer be so basic. 😊❤️
Great question! You can wrap it in plastic wrap around the entirely and then make some adjustments when you arrive where you are headed!
Thank you! I will use this when my Italian Fiancé comes to visit me xo and also at Christmas for family 🎄❤️🎊
That’s wonderful!! Thanks for watching!! 🥰
You should do a video on explaining how you do your menu do they choose or do you have a menu
Yess!!!
Great....
What do you use to serve the hot honey? Thank you!
Anything and everything! I like to top it for the cheese and crackers
❤👍
It is my understanding that charcuterie is the French word for butcher/cold cuts. Why do Americans always add cheese and fruit?
Ooooh….not washing hands after folding the near?! 😱

I did not know this. Will stop using the term so loosely. The board did turn out lovely.
A charcuterie board is a “meat” board. Nonetheless, very useful
Thank you, but please talk a bit less.
Thank you for your feedback! I will consider that for future videos
Don't talk so much just get down to it
Let’s see you make a charcuterie board video then Susan
💃🏽🕺🏽
@@Mmp3-nz6xn gotcha! Sorry, was just anxious to see the results!
How rude!
better talk and do at the same time.
