It is a very simple yet polarizing scent for some reason. Personally I completely love it because to me is a bitter citrus fragrance mixed with the pepper and “smoke”, and feels different to most citrus fragrances. In the drydown it does feels kinda blue or sauvage-ish but not too overwhelming
Keep in mind that Demi Rawling and Jus de Rose receive huge huge huge amounts of money annually from Chanel, Hermès, MFK and Parfum de Marly to promote their products. They are influencers after all. That's their job. I just wanted to open your eyes to this fact. We sometimes forget about this! I appreciate your honesty in reviewing Eau de Citron Noir! You're 100% right by the way. Cheers, love your channel!
They are not getting "huge huge huge" amounts of money. At best they get free products, and maybe a small fee. They are simply too small to get those kind of rewards youre thinking about. Also if they were sponsored by said companies monetary they would be obliged by law to state it. What they earn their money on regarding youtube is mainly the discount codes they can provide. If you use their 10% discount codes, they might receive up to 8% of those money "saved" on the sale. It is a very simple and common business method.

I do like Eau de Citron Noir, i like the twist with the smoke and the citrus. I will enjoy a review about MFK Amyris, i really liked the EDT and i'm very curious about the Extrait.
You’re probably the first one I’ve seen who basically wasn’t in love with this scent. I appreciate the honest take. This killed the Hermes Cologne collection for me. I can bear the citrus and dark, smoky elements that don’t seem to really work, but the overdose of synthetics and ambroxide ruined this. Not sure if you detect it. Jus de Rose openly loves ambroxan. As if that wasn’t enough, Hermes decided to recycle most of this into L’Ombre des Merveilles. Ugh!
Who wears a fragrance to "impress" someone? That's just SAD. If you're wearing a fragrance to impress someone, that speaks to your own insecurity and low self esteem. Wear a fragrance because YOU like it. That's it. Yes, getting compliments is nice, but wear what you like, not to impress. Let people be impressed by quality of your character, not some fragrance you wear.
you know what? bottle of this recently arrived and i feel the same way. not particularly bright and uplifting and, by the 2nd hour, it's just irritating and annoying to wear.
Big frag head here. Just found your channel and your honesty is refreshing. Loving the channel, man. Lastly, what are some good frags with prominant lime notes?
It's quite nice for the first 10 minutes or so, but then becomes flat, quiet, boring and uninspiring typical ambroxan, without any personality at all. Hard pass for me. Try Dior Eau Sauvage Cologne, it's in the same genre, but much better in terms of performance.

I adore this cologne and I am lucky that it stays on me almost all day.
Hello! What is the average time it stays on the skin?
@@georgemendes6844 Hermes fragrances are really good surprisingly, you can definitely get all day if your skin is moisturized

On me it lasts 3hours: the good part is that the citrus part doesn't fade away immediately but it does it really slow. Really pleasant.
Thanks Pete for another review - Hermes colognes is my fave line
I know it is haha! From your collection
Recommend me the next one to try!
I find it to be very close to Paco Rabanne Black XS (the original one), which is quite nice since that one is no longer produced
I loveeee Eau de Gentiane Blanche. That grassy smell is amazing to me. I never really here people talk about that fragrance.
Would love a review on Amyris, I loved it on first smell but I understand that people think it’s a “designer” MFK. Can’t wait!
Review is up!

Ambroxan turns to chemical sludge on my skin.
Thank you for this video 🔥🔥💪
I really like this scent. Find it only lasts a few hours on me and that’s with lots of sprays. :/

Really interesting take!
I passed on this one.
Have you tried Armani eau de cèdre by any chance? Old release, but I've just discovered it and am quite impressed.
I’ve not and it looks good but looks like it’s fetching a high price! :(
@@UrbanDwellerNYC true, this one is not a cheapy.

Another vote for Dior Eau Sauvage Cologne not because I think it's in the same genre (it may be, idk) but because it's a very high quality scent.
you prefer complex flagrances. this is simple. thats why its great. its cologne
New subscriber. Appreciate your honest take
I thought this was trash.. hated it
Weak af. 10 min and the scent is gone
This scent is so bad. Didn’t like it
