Is it unusual for a woman to only wear one perfume? I've worn LA VIE EST BELLE for 20+ years. I see there is now a Rose version but I will have to try it first. So many perfumes give me a headache so I stay with one scent. Just curious.

We need more "negative" vids and reviews. If you are serious about perfumes, there is no way you are going to like everything! I know, scent is subjective. However it is comical when a reviewer tells that everything is worth buying. We know why they are saying that. If you want to be taken seriously, don't be a shill, say your honest opinion!

Frankly, no one can tell you what fragrances are and aren't worth buying because that's dependent on everyone's personal taste. I hope newbies aren't watching these videos and believing that just because someone has a degree in perfumery, they're qualified to tell anyone what will smell good in their nose... The excessive dependence on reviewers to begin with is a problem. The only thing a reviewer can tell you is how *they* feel about a scent, not how you'll feel about it.
Delina La Rosee is more mass appealing but the OG Delina is so worth the hype at least with my chemistry! As popular as the scent is I never smell it on others and when people do ask me what I am wearing they never know what I am talking about lol. Don't let the internet fool you, you can still smell unique with a popular fragrance! Also justice for BR540 lol
I have a question please. I have several dupes of BR 540. I didn't buy them because they were dupes, I just got them because I smelled them on other women and really liked them. Oddly, most of the times it was in an airport! I just realized that. My question is, since I like the so called dupes, should I spring for the original? I obviously like that vibe. Do you think it's worth the splurge? Mother's Day is coming up and my girls always get me a nice perfume. I'm debating on what to ask for.
The same goes for “luxury” bags and shoes… no matter how popular, depending on where you are in the world…you almost never see many people with these “over-hyped” items.
Delina and Delina Exclusif - beautiful but not for hot, humid and tropical weather Delina La Rosee - perfect not just for summer, but in a country where there’s only two seasons: rainy and summer (and it’s summer right now so it’s VERY hot and VERY humid). You could literally wear it all year long and you’d smell amazing 🥰
I don't like any Kayali personally. Love Delina la Rose'e but I'm partial to the OG Delina. IMO Lust in Paradise by Ex Nihilo is better than Delina LaRose'e being in the same ballpark. BR540 is one of the most unique frags I've ever gotten my nose on...and no I don't get dentist's office as I am a dentist and I wished my office smelled like that LOL. Lune Feline is one of the best vanillas out there but you may be right about EUF by Coty as I haven't smelt it. Nice vid Josephine.
I have Delina Exclif and La Rosee but I still want to buy Delina. It has something I can’t stop thinking about it. I have samples and every time I spray it I love it and my husband as well. Right now they have a special edition bottle with hand painted roses for Mother’s Day and I feel like I have to get it ☺️
I’m Delina Exclusif! Oh so so good, and lasts all day for me. I liked Delina La Rosée, but I’m not into too much of rose scented, so I like the compromise with Exclusif, since it’s more vanilla/rose ❤
My favorite vanilla is from 7 virtues - vanilla woods. It’s so beautiful, deep, resinous, and lasts. My favorite winter vanilla. I think for warmer months, I love Eau Duelle edt from Diptyque and any kind of saltier light vanilla like The Vanille by Nette.
I'm so glad you called out Montale for their synthetic smelling fragrances. People rave about them all the time. However, I tested so many Montales and every time I feel let down. When I go out in public I regularly smell Intense Cafe on people, and it's so overwhelming and headache-inducing. I hope they find your video and pick a good alternative 😂❤
Every Montale, or the sister house Mancera have smelled like cheaper end chemicals to my wife and I. We have tried many samples and they are just plain bad.
I heard good things about BR540. My friend swears by it but when i started researching about BR540 i had to stay away. Too strong perfumes make me physically ill. My bestfriend gave me an Hermes perfume. It stayed on my clothes whole day. It smelled luxurious but i was having the worst headache. My sinuses inflamed overnight that my eyes were swollen when i woke up. I returned to her the gift so it wont go to waste. Hahaha so right now i will say pass on BR540 base on my experience on that Hermes.
It’s interesting how you changed your mind about Vanilla 28..I just watched a review from a year ago and you liked it and said the dry down was spicy on you. I was almost convinced to try it until I saw this review. I have worn the same scent for 25 years and am trying to dip my toe into other scents but it is tough with so many options. I have been binging your videos for suggestions and have an order of quite a few samples coming in soon!
I’ve been doing deep dives into different fragrance categories (citruses, florals, vanillas, etc) which has helped me better understand the nuances of each of these notes and helped me narrow down the ones I’m most drawn to. Vanilla 28 isn’t a bad fragrance in any way, just not what I’d wear. It’s good that you’re getting samples of perfumes - that’s the best way to try fragrances 😊
I received my order of fragrances bought mostly due to your suggestions. I love most of them and have been watching your videos recommending which to layer. This is completely new to me and I feel like a whole new world of fragrances have opened up for me. I am obsessed!
I never understood the hype around "intense cafe". As you said, it smells extremely synthetic, almost like an abstract of a very sweet and artificial juice
Totally agree re Delina, I have all three and the original is too harsh, I love the exclusif ( currently have it on) and the rosee is amazing for summer much more fresher and easier on the nose. Kids are wearing BR540 now glad mine has all gone lol. Thanks for the video. ❤
I have all 3 Delina fragrances and love each but I will always prefer the original. I have gone through 2 bottles and dont ever seem to tire of it. Its also one of my most complimented fragrances ever.

I adore Pas Ce Soir extrait! It smells amazing on my skin🎉🎉… almost one of my all time favorite smells😂 so funny how this works. My skin loves it and my nose loves it and I get compliments almost every time I wear it.
Absolutely agree on Erba Pura! For that price, you're essentially buying a bottle of artificial lollies from the corner store, not even decant-worthy, let alone full bottle. Also BR540 smells like hospital antiseptic to me 😖

This is a bit random, but when you were talking about the perfume that smells like decaying fruit, I couldn’t help but think of Pulp by Byredo 😁 Now, the thing is…I absolutely love it! I definitely do see why it’s polarising, but me it’s the most unique fruity perfume I’ve ever smelt. I haven’t smelt the perfume you were talking about, but perhaps Pulp would be an alternative? Really appreciate your perspective given your experience and background in the perfume industry. Smell is subjective, no doubt, but we are all in some way or other vulnerable to hype and FOMO. I have a few overhyped perfumes I convinced myself was amazing based on hype, only to realize why I wasn’t reaching for them, that I actually didn’t enjoy them at all.
@@chandracox6814 couldn’t agree with you more. Certainly have learned my lesson to trust my own judgement over anyone else’s platitudes about any smell. Noticed too a lot of older channels have peaced out, churning out less content, probably because they’re burnt out financially and mentally from the pitfalls of the world of influencing.
I’ve been there too… it’s so tempting to get a perfume that others love and hope to love it as much as they do. That’s why I always get decants/samples and wear the perfume of weeks / months before making a purchase decision. Perfume isn’t cheap!
I agree. It’s good to stay informed of the type of scents that are available and what’s new etc but ultimately fragrances need to be worn by ourselves before making a purchasing decision

The way how you desribed BDk- that is Baccarrat rouge 540 on me. It smell so gross on me that i could not wait to remove it. Perfumes are sooooo personal.

I could not wear Pas ce soir, but the Pas ce soir Extrait, I love! Might be worth trying on your skin, on me, it stays beautiful throughout the wear…there is not much development to the notes, I definitely don’t get any decaying fruits from that.
The extrait was stunning. Very rich and the fruit was great. The edp was good, but the extrait was amazing. It might just depend on your skin chemistry
I love delina exclusif and it will be my wedding scent this summer ❤ I like OG Delina and I often layer it with exclusif but it is not as special as the exclusif at least for me. If I want something fresh I would go for Valaya.
That DNA is an instant migraine trigger for me. And I loathe smelling it in the hot, humid, NC summers. I don't know how or why it's touted as a year round scent. It's atrocious.

I LOVE Pas Ce Soir Extrait and get compliments on it as well. I have not worn it in warm weather but so far it has been beautiful for me. Body chemistry is everything!

Agreed. Bc rouge is everywhere and i do love it but I don't wear it. Also I looove la rose and agreed with exclusif too. The pár ce soir thank God's the rotting fruit is not just me..sadly really can smell only that
Erba pura cannot be smelled up close… but if you smell it in the air, it’s surprisingly magical. My 7 year old was so excited the first time I sprayed it and he caught a whiff of it.

I wish I’d known the disdain for BR540 before I got another bottle, but I do still think it’s a lovely scent. I don’t ever smell it around me even in OC California. I actually don’t notice a lot of women wearing much perfume for some reason. BUT, I work from home so exposure is limited to school pickup and the baseball fields. 😂

Best vanilla - VC&A Vanille orchidee for me Great and affordable dupes for Montale Intense caffe is Zara Rose Gourmand and for Baccarat is Zara Red tempation, just take the affordable ones. Delina I never liked
DO NOT blind buy! See if you can get a sample or test on skin to see how it works for YOU. As I said, perfume is subjective and wouldn’t advise on blind buying anything (even the ones I recommend!)
I completely agree with you about Erba Pura! I felt like I was going mad - that there was something wrong with my nose when (to me), it felt like one big powerful pungent, chemical assault on the senses. There was so much hype around it but thankfully, I only went as far as a sample 😂. Thank you for putting my mind at rest!
I like those 3 Delina. Some people say Erba Pura & Kirke smell almost the same, but for me I prefer Kirke because Erba Pura is stronger for my nose. I agree with BR540, I kind of tired of it, I can smell it almost everywhere and on everyone around me..
I actually tried La Rosée before the regular Delina because I thought based on reviews I'd love it more - then I tried the Exclusif and found it chokingly sweet. Finally when I tried the OG, at this point just for completionism's sake, I fell in love 😅 So I guess I am a basic girl! I don't think Delina is my perfect rose fragrance though. I am still looking for my queen! In spite of it being one of my favorite scent notes, I feel like I've tried very few high end rose perfumes I enjoyed.
I tried Delina a few days ago. It immediately reminded me of Mon Paris Intensément. I'm just not into that type of perfume now...but 18 year old me would have loved this. 😂 The flankers were okay but not for me either. I actually preferred the bigger more 'masculine' scents of Parfums de Marly .
Vanilla 28 is not interesting but that's the whole reason I have it, as a basic Vanilla to layer with almost anything. The complex Vanilla that are more exciting on their own are way more limiting when it comes to layering in my opinion. That said. I'd love If it was stronger and more brown sugary. Without maceration it can smell very weak. Love your videos x
I totally agree with intense cafe, the opening is quite nice but a bit plasticy, and the dry down is honestly medicinal on my skin. When looking for a coffee fragrance, I bought into the hype but I've since fallen in love with awake by akro
Delina Exclusif is too powdery for me. Rosee is good, but doesn’t last all day on me, or I am nose-blind after a couple hours. Delina is pretty. I like Rosee, tho.
Love these de-influencing videos to break through the hype...definitely keep these coming! I had a bottle of Delina Exclusif, and I like it better than Delina, but the Exclusif is just a little too strong and cloying for me -- which is saying a lot because I like Mugler's Angel! I wish PDM would come out with an Exclusif EDT that's lighter but still has the same notes. I've tried La Rosee and it's pretty, but my nose picks up something that smells like watermelon, so I still prefer Exclusif out of all of them.
I am now super aware how chemistry makes a HUGE difference in fragrance and how we perceive them; case in point, my daughter LOVES Petite Cherie (Goutal) and it smells LOVELY on her.. fresh, crisp and perfectly “Springtime”.. while it smells like bitter grass on me with zero evolution. Also, Kayali Vanilla 28 and Deja Vu smell old and dusty on me..and the Yum Pistachio saaaame.. again on my daughter I’m always shocked because they all smell delightful! I have a hard time with the Baccarat DNA.. smells like dental office or latex gloves to me.. same with Greenwich Village.

My suggestions for clean florals would be: Chloe Eau de Parfum, Dior Pure Poison, Dior J’Adore, Chanel Mademoiselle and Chanel Gabrielle 🤍 just lovely scents for a classy woman of any age really!

i think the first range of kayali fragrances arent supposed to be as complex since they wanted to emphasize that the collection is meant to be layered. so imo the first collection is the "base". that being said. vanilla royale is the one that worked for me. interesting and unique video as always!
I bought into the hype about Vanilla 28 and was so disappointed. I just don’t get it. I don’t like it on me at all. I also wanted to like Pas Ce Soir, it sounds like I’d love it. I totally don’t. It’s ok I guess and on me it’s just not nice. And I also agree about BR540. While I like it on others, I simply don’t wanna spend that much to smell like everyone else. Plus all the dupes put me off. The curse of popular fragrances I guess. I’m always looking for the perfect “sexy” vanilla. I am considering Guerlain’s Spiritueuse Double Vanille or Angelique Noire but can’t decide between the 2, or if there’s something better.

Pas Ce Soir is magnificent! The most intoxicating fruity fragrance! I get so many compliments, especially from men. It's praised for a reason and, of course, when it comes to perfumes, it's very subjective. I agree with Delina break down.
Team Delina OG because it works so well in all seasons and occasions! But yes, I do have to be in the mood for it because she is STRONG and has given me a headache a couple of times. A couple of sprays work so well in the heat :) maybe I will try La rosee when I’m done!
I love Delina OG, I always get compliments wearing it. The sour tone gives the character. I also have Exclusif and I love wearing it for evening dates. I don’t like La Rose. It smells basic to me, like every rose scent you’ll get for €10 when in Bulgaria (Bulgaria has rose valleys and is famous for rose oil). I fully agree with other picks though :)
I love vanilla perfumes so I was really excited to try Vanilla 28 - but for some reason to me it smells like black olives. I get no vanilla whatsoever - so weird!
I got a sample of Delina because of the hype. I was so excited to try it but omg was I disappointed! And confused because I couldn't believe THIS was the perfume so many people were going crazy for. I have tried the Exclusif and I like that one a lot more, but not enough to buy a full bottle.
I usually don’t agree with ppl who classify synthetic scents as all bad, but I completely agree with your thoughts on Erba Pura! I felt like everyone comparing it to God of Fire was gaslighting me. Erba Pura is so harsh and smells like undistinct perfumeyness after it going sour on your skin after sun or sweat.
Let me say that synthetic to me smells like plastic or packed with astringent aroma chemicals that make me think of cleaning products. Synthetic molecules aren’t all bad at all and one of my fav ingredients is ambroxan. They’re important to add complexity and staying power to a fragrance. In the fragrance discussed here though, the aroma chemicals used don’t work for me
Team Delina Rosee all the way! I call BR540 the cilantro of perfumes. Most people love it, and to others it tastes like soap. Most people love BR540, and to others it’s smells like a dentist office. Sadly I’m in the soap & dentist camp. Fun video, thank you!
Can you do a video on Boudicca the Victorious fragrances? Like a top ten? I find myself going back again and again just to sample their stuff. I even read an article on their top fragrances. My wife and I love Tiziana Terenzi. Kirke is fruity and one of their best sellers. Porpora smells like a fruity version of Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady and is exquisite. They do fruits very well. Telea is also a favorite with sea notes. It has a beautiful large Star fish hanging over the bottle. We have about 20 of them. I really like Boadicea the Victorious Ardent on my wife and would highly recommend it. Jubilee was also great.

As well as smelling like chemical soup, they are weak and have no longevity. A waste of money. I don't know how they got to be hyped.

I heard good things about BR540. My friend swears by it but when i started researching about BR540 i had to stay away. Too strong perfumes make me physically ill. My bestfriend gave me an Hermes perfume. It stayed on my clothes whole day. It smelled luxurious but i was having the worst headache. My sinuses inflamed overnight that my eyes were swollen when i woke up. I returned to her the gift so it wont go to waste. Hahaha so right now i will say pass on BR540 base on my experience on that Hermes.

It’s interesting how you changed your mind about Vanilla 28..I just watched a review from a year ago and you liked it and said the dry down was spicy on you. I was almost convinced to try it until I saw this review. I have worn the same scent for 25 years and am trying to dip my toe into other scents but it is tough with so many options. I have been binging your videos for suggestions and have an order of quite a few samples coming in soon!
I’ve been doing deep dives into different fragrance categories (citruses, florals, vanillas, etc) which has helped me better understand the nuances of each of these notes and helped me narrow down the ones I’m most drawn to. Vanilla 28 isn’t a bad fragrance in any way, just not what I’d wear. It’s good that you’re getting samples of perfumes - that’s the best way to try fragrances 😊
I received my order of fragrances bought mostly due to your suggestions. I love most of them and have been watching your videos recommending which to layer. This is completely new to me and I feel like a whole new world of fragrances have opened up for me. I am obsessed!

Yes, all Montale fragrances smell chemical and harsh. They are also very weak. It's just throwing money away.
Delina exclusif is so incense for me that reminds me of church during Easter. The original burns my nostrils. La rose is fabulous ❤
Totally agree re Delina, I have all three and the original is too harsh, I love the exclusif ( currently have it on) and the rosee is amazing for summer much more fresher and easier on the nose. Kids are wearing BR540 now glad mine has all gone lol. Thanks for the video. ❤
I have all 3 Delina fragrances and love each but I will always prefer the original. I have gone through 2 bottles and dont ever seem to tire of it. Its also one of my most complimented fragrances ever.

I adore Pas Ce Soir extrait! It smells amazing on my skin🎉🎉… almost one of my all time favorite smells😂 so funny how this works. My skin loves it and my nose loves it and I get compliments almost every time I wear it.

Absolutely agree on Erba Pura! For that price, you're essentially buying a bottle of artificial lollies from the corner store, not even decant-worthy, let alone full bottle. Also BR540 smells like hospital antiseptic to me 😖

This is a bit random, but when you were talking about the perfume that smells like decaying fruit, I couldn’t help but think of Pulp by Byredo 😁 Now, the thing is…I absolutely love it! I definitely do see why it’s polarising, but me it’s the most unique fruity perfume I’ve ever smelt. I haven’t smelt the perfume you were talking about, but perhaps Pulp would be an alternative?

Really appreciate your perspective given your experience and background in the perfume industry. Smell is subjective, no doubt, but we are all in some way or other vulnerable to hype and FOMO. I have a few overhyped perfumes I convinced myself was amazing based on hype, only to realize why I wasn’t reaching for them, that I actually didn’t enjoy them at all.
That's why I'm so sick of the hype. It's out of hand, big time, in the frag comm.

@@chandracox6814 couldn’t agree with you more. Certainly have learned my lesson to trust my own judgement over anyone else’s platitudes about any smell. Noticed too a lot of older channels have peaced out, churning out less content, probably because they’re burnt out financially and mentally from the pitfalls of the world of influencing.
I’ve been there too… it’s so tempting to get a perfume that others love and hope to love it as much as they do. That’s why I always get decants/samples and wear the perfume of weeks / months before making a purchase decision. Perfume isn’t cheap!
I agree. It’s good to stay informed of the type of scents that are available and what’s new etc but ultimately fragrances need to be worn by ourselves before making a purchasing decision

I agree with the Delina comment! I think it’s nice but the La Rosee is my favorite, and I prefer Very Good Girl over original Delina.

The way how you desribed BDk- that is Baccarrat rouge 540 on me. It smell so gross on me that i could not wait to remove it. Perfumes are sooooo personal.

I could not wear Pas ce soir, but the Pas ce soir Extrait, I love! Might be worth trying on your skin, on me, it stays beautiful throughout the wear…there is not much development to the notes, I definitely don’t get any decaying fruits from that.
Every fragrance I try, I try on skin. The extrait didn’t work on skin either for me. I had to scrub it off after 1h 🫣

I love delina exclusif and it will be my wedding scent this summer ❤ I like OG Delina and I often layer it with exclusif but it is not as special as the exclusif at least for me. If I want something fresh I would go for Valaya.

That DNA is an instant migraine trigger for me. And I loathe smelling it in the hot, humid, NC summers. I don't know how or why it's touted as a year round scent. It's atrocious.

Le Rosee have a good longevity, but it has some kind of bitterness at the drydown. which irritates me a bit
I adore Pas Ce Soir….i get a crazy amount of compliments from family and friends when i wear it. Just 👌.
And on the other hand I hated Scherzo, it had a screechy nauseating note that ruined the whole thing for me

Erba pura cannot be smelled up close… but if you smell it in the air, it’s surprisingly magical. My 7 year old was so excited the first time I sprayed it and he caught a whiff of it.

I wish I’d known the disdain for BR540 before I got another bottle, but I do still think it’s a lovely scent. I don’t ever smell it around me even in OC California. I actually don’t notice a lot of women wearing much perfume for some reason. BUT, I work from home so exposure is limited to school pickup and the baseball fields. 😂

DO NOT blind buy! See if you can get a sample or test on skin to see how it works for YOU. As I said, perfume is subjective and wouldn’t advise on blind buying anything (even the ones I recommend!)
I completely agree with you about Erba Pura! I felt like I was going mad - that there was something wrong with my nose when (to me), it felt like one big powerful pungent, chemical assault on the senses. There was so much hype around it but thankfully, I only went as far as a sample 😂. Thank you for putting my mind at rest!
I like those 3 Delina. Some people say Erba Pura & Kirke smell almost the same, but for me I prefer Kirke because Erba Pura is stronger for my nose. I agree with BR540, I kind of tired of it, I can smell it almost everywhere and on everyone around me..
Delina Exclusif is my fave atm , but it smells better on me than the other delina’s longer lasting
I actually tried La Rosée before the regular Delina because I thought based on reviews I'd love it more - then I tried the Exclusif and found it chokingly sweet. Finally when I tried the OG, at this point just for completionism's sake, I fell in love 😅 So I guess I am a basic girl! I don't think Delina is my perfect rose fragrance though. I am still looking for my queen! In spite of it being one of my favorite scent notes, I feel like I've tried very few high end rose perfumes I enjoyed.
I prefer layering OG and Exclisif (but just in autumn and winter, for summer just OG... I need to test La Rose now!)

I tried Delina a few days ago. It immediately reminded me of Mon Paris Intensément. I'm just not into that type of perfume now...but 18 year old me would have loved this. 😂 The flankers were okay but not for me either. I actually preferred the bigger more 'masculine' scents of Parfums de Marly .
Vanilla 28 is not interesting but that's the whole reason I have it, as a basic Vanilla to layer with almost anything. The complex Vanilla that are more exciting on their own are way more limiting when it comes to layering in my opinion. That said. I'd love If it was stronger and more brown sugary. Without maceration it can smell very weak.

I totally agree with intense cafe, the opening is quite nice but a bit plasticy, and the dry down is honestly medicinal on my skin. When looking for a coffee fragrance, I bought into the hype but I've since fallen in love with awake by akro

La Rosee was love at first sniff.
Delina Exclusif is too powdery for me. Rosee is good, but doesn’t last all day on me, or I am nose-blind after a couple hours. Delina is pretty. I like Rosee, tho.
Love these de-influencing videos to break through the hype...definitely keep these coming! I had a bottle of Delina Exclusif, and I like it better than Delina, but the Exclusif is just a little too strong and cloying for me -- which is saying a lot because I like Mugler's Angel! I wish PDM would come out with an Exclusif EDT that's lighter but still has the same notes. I've tried La Rosee and it's pretty, but my nose picks up something that smells like watermelon, so I still prefer Exclusif out of all of them.

I am now super aware how chemistry makes a HUGE difference in fragrance and how we perceive them; case in point, my daughter LOVES Petite Cherie (Goutal) and it smells LOVELY on her.. fresh, crisp and perfectly “Springtime”.. while it smells like bitter grass on me with zero evolution.
Also, Kayali Vanilla 28 and Deja Vu smell old and dusty on me..and the Yum Pistachio saaaame.. again on my daughter I’m always shocked because they all smell delightful!
I have a hard time with the Baccarat DNA.. smells like dental office or latex gloves to me.. same with Greenwich Village.
I love your videos, your advice. I'm 62...some days I feel it, some days I don't. You have probably already done this. ...but would you consider doing a video on nice scents for an older woman. Not sexy, just clean, floral...how you would want your Mom or favorite Aunt to smell like????
My suggestions for clean florals would be: Chloe Eau de Parfum, Dior Pure Poison, Dior J’Adore, Chanel Mademoiselle and Chanel Gabrielle 🤍 just lovely scents for a classy woman of any age really!

i think the first range of kayali fragrances arent supposed to be as complex since they wanted to emphasize that the collection is meant to be layered. so imo the first collection is the "base". that being said. vanilla royale is the one that worked for me. interesting and unique video as always!
I bought into the hype about Vanilla 28 and was so disappointed. I just don’t get it. I don’t like it on me at all. I also wanted to like Pas Ce Soir, it sounds like I’d love it. I totally don’t. It’s ok I guess and on me it’s just not nice. And I also agree about BR540. While I like it on others, I simply don’t wanna spend that much to smell like everyone else. Plus all the dupes put me off. The curse of popular fragrances I guess. I’m always looking for the perfect “sexy” vanilla. I am considering Guerlain’s Spiritueuse Double Vanille or Angelique Noire but can’t decide between the 2, or if there’s something better.

Pas Ce Soir is magnificent! The most intoxicating fruity fragrance! I get so many compliments, especially from men. It's praised for a reason and, of course, when it comes to perfumes, it's very subjective. I agree with Delina break down.
Team Delina OG because it works so well in all seasons and occasions! But yes, I do have to be in the mood for it because she is STRONG and has given me a headache a couple of times. A couple of sprays work so well in the heat :) maybe I will try La rosee when I’m done!
The Kayali's are best worn layered. The Utopia and Vanilla 28 are a great combo.
I love Delina OG, I always get compliments wearing it. The sour tone gives the character. I also have Exclusif and I love wearing it for evening dates. I don’t like La Rose. It smells basic to me, like every rose scent you’ll get for €10 when in Bulgaria (Bulgaria has rose valleys and is famous for rose oil). I fully agree with other picks though :)

I love vanilla perfumes so I was really excited to try Vanilla 28 - but for some reason to me it smells like black olives. I get no vanilla whatsoever - so weird!
I got a sample of Delina because of the hype. I was so excited to try it but omg was I disappointed! And confused because I couldn't believe THIS was the perfume so many people were going crazy for.
I have tried the Exclusif and I like that one a lot more, but not enough to buy a full bottle.
Buy Armaf Club de nuit Imperiale and you will be astonished with the amazing worki they've done.

I usually don’t agree with ppl who classify synthetic scents as all bad, but I completely agree with your thoughts on Erba Pura! I felt like everyone comparing it to God of Fire was gaslighting me. Erba Pura is so harsh and smells like undistinct perfumeyness after it going sour on your skin after sun or sweat.
Let me say that synthetic to me smells like plastic or packed with astringent aroma chemicals that make me think of cleaning products. Synthetic molecules aren’t all bad at all and one of my fav ingredients is ambroxan. They’re important to add complexity and staying power to a fragrance. In the fragrance discussed here though, the aroma chemicals used don’t work for me
Team Delina Rosee all the way! I call BR540 the cilantro of perfumes. Most people love it, and to others it tastes like soap. Most people love BR540, and to others it’s smells like a dentist office. Sadly I’m in the soap & dentist camp.

My wife and I love Tiziana Terenzi. Kirke is fruity and one of their best sellers. Porpora smells like a fruity version of Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady and is exquisite. They do fruits very well. Telea is also a favorite with sea notes. It has a beautiful large Star fish hanging over the bottle. We have about 20 of them.
I really like Boadicea the Victorious Ardent on my wife and would highly recommend it. Jubilee was also great.
My vote is for Amouge Guidance…it doesn’t work on my body chemistry at all. I get an ammonia… almost urine smell from it in the dry down 😢
