It smells so earthy, and natural and calming. Grounding? It's one of my favorite scents. I'm 49, so I at least fit the "mature" vibe. Compliments? Who needs compliments??

Terre d’Hermes is so seductive. It’s like the smell of the earth just after the rain in a tropical climate mixed with vetiver ( we used to use vetiver root in our windows during summer & spray water to it to keep our rooms cooler during summer). It is a mature, earthy , no nonsense perfume.

@@off-whitestyle4755 I have both and reach for the EDT more often. They are both great. The EDT (to my nose) just beats out the Parfum. A little more peppery which I like. Performance is good for both. I think the EDT is slightly better performing. Both are solid choices though ;)
I'm female and it is my one and only favorite fragrance. Went from wanting the man of the dream to wear it in my early twenties to wearing it myself, the second it much easier haha.

Terre D'hermes is actually what got me into collecting, a friend of mine wore it and I thought it was amazing. Always reminds me of summer times with friends. I don't think its necessarily an older fragrance, I get tonnes of compliments from this one and im 26. I think the EDT is the best version because it suits the freshness of the DNA. Gorgeous manly smell, makes girls melt. To me this is more of a bad boy scent or whatever people say ch men prive is.
Older is like 25+. 26 is not young or anywhere near teenage haha. Its close to 30 which is where mature starts.
@@adrian_21055 Are teenagers really a core customer though I don’t think any perfume is made for them for me you don’t really wear or buy it till you can work at 18 which is where I always think a scent like bad boy or something really sweet, you can rock terre at 21 no issues if you’re wearing decent clothes and not a nice tech tracksuit
@@adrian_21055 It's not like your whole vibe and personality changes between 19 and 25. If you can't pull it off as a teenager you can't magically pull it off 5 years later and vice versa. Fragrances are more about personality and dress style than age

Im 53, i dont care about compliments for smell, i care about the smell, this one is great.
I adore this scent, just recieved my 3rd bottle and gone for the pure perfume, I sprayed a little on my hand earlier and it still smells strong, I get frustrated when a fragrance fades away after an hour or two, this is not for everyone but I think that people who like this really LOVE it, definitely different and very luxurious....

As a teenager who used the entire flacon by now, my experience has been great! I wear a lot of leather jackets so it really compliments the aesthetics. The compliments I’ve gotten were almost solely by older women and especially mothers ;) but I’ve gotten a fair amount of compliments from my peers too. I think the vetiver suits my skin really well and it really is a one of a kind, special scent

This is my every day fragrance. In my opinion, it achieves what Creed Aventus went for....and beats Aventus at its own game. Like another youtuber mentioned...its kind of what a Jason Statham type person would wear, or any high level executive/corporate owner who has everything but plays it low key, and doesn't drive around in a flashy car, but definitely one that when you see it, you understand they are "money."
Actually this is the fragrance that Jason S wears. His gf revealed that on her channel.

just picked it up and LOVE it. the balance of citrus and vetiver is perfect. Great for fall & spring, but can work well on a cooler summer day when outdoors. DON’T OVERSPRAY !!!
I wear 8 sprays in the office and the lady working right next to me doesn't even notice. After 3-4 hours I don't even smell it on my skin. I can easily get way with 10 sprays indoors and more outdoors. If I spray 2-3 times with Y EDP or Profondo I get compliments but also complains that it's too much, they are several times stronger, given they are EDPs. Armani Code still smells on clothes many days later. Dylan Blue EDT also is significantly stronger, Explorer slightly stronger, Prada L'Eau homme too.

I'm 26, I think TDH is amazing... I never thought of it smelling like an older mature guy, to me it is just more complex and just super unique.. I love it.
I only buy and use Terra de Hermes.
It's deep luxurious notes makes me feel manly King and have had so many compliments from women. Love it better than anything else as it lasts long on my skin and gets warmer as the day progresses.
i'm a 22 yr old women using the parfum. i get biggggg compliments whenever i wear this. the orange note keeps it from being too masculine and can easily be pulled off as simply gender neutral. all my friends adore it whenever i wear it. it's so unique that YOU wear the perfume, not the perfume wears you.

THIS COLOGNE SMELLS LIKE SUCCESS, POWERFUL, WEALTH, PURE ALPHAMALE AND VERY MANLY AND VERY ELEGANT.
In this age when fragrance makers are pushing for fragrances that appeal to men and women this one goes against that trend. Manly, great, not smelling like everybody else.
I own all 3 variations , EDT , Parfum & Eau tres fraiche & I find that if I layer the Eau tres fraiche with either one of the other 2 you get even better performance & projection & it works amazing well together . I get heaps of compliments wearing that mix .

I did not like it on my skin: it smelt like burnt wood.
After some months, I found the bottle; almost over, only some mL left: tried it and OMFG. Supremely good: now it smelt like wet earth.

This seems weird but I’m a teenager and it works for me. I am kinda mature for my age, but I think it works for me, because I love the fragrance and feel like pulling it off and people can feel that. So if ur a teenager believe me it isn’t a teen fragrance, but if u want to u really can wear it and it works.

For attention grabbers or clubbing scents: Versace Eros, JPG Ultra Male, Dior Sauvage, One Million and Armaf CDNIM are good ones to start with.
For something more subtle: BDC EDT or EDP, D&G the One, or versace pour homme

I do like once every three months going to the Hermès store to buy a refill bottle. It comes with a travel sized vaporizer. So I always have an extra gift to give to someone.

He made the scent smell super dark and old smelling. This is a very bright orange fragrance. Perfect balance of orange and...well- dirt lol. Absolute masterpiece. Very professional classy sexy yet bright and uplifting.
I drive an Alfa Romeo and wear a Cartier watch…this is the PERFECT fragrance for me; something different, distinctive yet still high-quality. Will garner respect, not heaps of compliments.

I would agree with you on the crowd pleasing aspect. I finally pulled the trigger and ordered my TDH. Got it in the mail, woke up and busted out my dress ups for work, sprayed 2 and walked in like I owned the place. I loved the smell and the performance and gotta say it was quite addicting. But unfortunately I got 4 NO votes from some co-workers that like to smell my new stuff. All four ladies and 2 even like some of the more challenging scents. But although I loved this one, others did not. I was kind of suprised but I should know by now that what ladies like is a completely different path than a mans. So I wear this just for myself now when I'm just tooling around and really more for the mood.

My presentation to others will always have a motive so along with my attire from top to bottom and personal grooming, my scent will always be pleasing to others as that is part of the sell. Iam a Corporate Lawyer, 47yo, I used Terre d`Hermes since i was 30yo. Ive receive so many compliements, and its a fragance that when you give a hug gets on others people cloth. Sure they will not forget about you. BEST FRANGANCE to use with SUIT, a nice watch and a clean pair of shoes.

Probably dior homme 2020 or even gucci guilty cologne. You def gotta try the intense vetiver flanker.
Terre D'hermes EDT was one the later purchases considering my large collection of around 60 perfumes compared to Jeremy :P. Never got a larger bottle than 50 ml at a store and finally found a great deal for ~ $110 for a monstrous 200 ml bottle. Simply awesome. Oozes class. Yes, definitely not for everyone. But persistence pays off I guess, with this perfume you almost feel the need, just out of passion, to explain to people why this is so good (to people who do not like it first time or people who not into fragrances).
tried this in a frankfurt airport. very good smelling.
I always get fast hugs and when I wore this one I got a long hug with her head buried on my chest and I felt her taking a long whiff. 10/10 would wear this perfume on all occasions. cant bring it overseas tho due to it being 100ml

I just bought it and its really great. Very authentic. I dont get it, its much better than dior sauvage. It lasts also very long. Could smell the parfume the other day too

As you know is Eros reformulated and the perfomance is extremely lower.

I bought Dior Sauvage and got Terre D’Hermes EDT tester. At first I hated it but now its one of the best ones Ive ever tried. Might have to buy a bigger bottle

I’m a young man and I love this smell. It reminds me of my Asia trip few years ago. My everyday parfum is cool water and sometimes I’m using dolce gabbana light blue love is love. Few days ago s.b. gifted me the Versace eros flame but I don’t like it.

It’s a fragrance for office. Not just for office for the owner of the business. It’s also works solid for boys night out. It’s a night fragrance. Fragrance for a country where it’s always hot. Tropical or Middle East. But it doesn’t smell like Middle East.

Definitely not for the younger crowds. I'd say 25 and up. With that right swagger and outfit, this has the potential to turn some heads.
Terre is one of my favourite fragrances. It actually brings a great deal of compliments. And I have to say something about Aventus - it's completely overrated.

I'm 47. I have this one in my collection and agree with basically the whole video. It does get compliments but more from people who recognize a unique and classy scent (like not wearing Sauvage). Good job Jeremy. Keep them coming!
To understand my profiles I also wear Pada LHomme L'eau, Blue de Chanel EDP, as dailies Prada more in summer, and my date night or sweet scent of choice right now is Armani Stronger with You Intensely. (Formerly The One EDP).

Got a whiff of both of these on paper today. They both have a prominent cedar smell. The EDT has a dry peppery/spicy note with less cedar. The parfum is less spicy, slightly sweet, and more cedar. I like the parfum version a little better, but I love them both. I'll have to try both on my wrists to see how the scent changes. I already bought a bottle of Profondo. But I'm definitely buying a bottle of Terre too.
To me this was far superior to Blu de channel.
indeed, blue de chanel is good but smells kinda mainstream. Terre D'Hermes smells different than the mainstream fragrance out there...it's either love or hate
