It's a fantastic eater that's for sure. Really my top 3 are almost tied. I still need to try an Atomic Fusion. Did the video come off oK after some hard core editing? Such a stupid thing to do. I guess I was focused elsewhere.
Appreciate your stopping by again. We had a lot of fun doing this one....rookie error on filming the umbrella pole in the middle......but I'm learning.
Lucid Gem and Dr Wyches Yellow are both superb, and I agree with you all, as LG is such a complex and excellent-tasting tomato. Thanks for the mention, too, you're a star 🌟
Your welcome. I've really loved your tomato tasting series. Hubby and I have been discussing what will have a return visit in the garden and what we need more than 1 plant of.
Oh! Thank you for sharing this tomato tasting with us, Robin! My tomatoes are just barely starting to ripen. I’ve always heard great things about Dr. Wyche’s Yellow. That seems like a very well-loved heirloom tomato. My tomatoes are all slicers and one cherry this year, but I’m hoping to do some cooking tomatoes next year.
Mr. Tarter's German, Britains Breakfast and Costaluto Genevese have all roasted well for salsa and sauce. Once it cools a bit this evening (96f today) I'm going to roast a batch for tomato soup for the freezer. I still need to taste the Atomic Fusion which has been slow to ripen.🥰
I’m trying a few of these next year. I’m not a tomato lovely myself but looking at the different varieties growing does make me happy. Dr Wyches Yellow keeps featuring on favourite lists for people
Great video. Those were some good looking tomatoes. Only determinates and cherry tomatoes in my current growing area, look forward to growing more exciting varieties later.
I hope sis is doing better ❤. I am downsizing the “size” of tomatoes 🍅 meaning hopefully smaller plants. I will still do my beefsteak Ananias Noir and Alices Dream but a lot more determinate from Carmel Bella Farms. Great update Robin and clan 😅, Ali ☔️🇨🇦
TY for thinking of her. We'll see how well you stick to that plan... LOL. I just made a tomato soup and it tastes yum. Can't wait to pair it with a grilled cheese sandwich tomorrow. The Costaluto Genevese really shines when it's roasted. Dang it's a pretty tomato. I will likely double up on this year's favorites. Although Cherokee Carbon and Alice's Dream have my attention.
@@RobinGardens we will talk and trade because honestly I don’t think I have a dr whyche yellow but I do have some fun new dwarf ones coming from Carmel Bella farm. Disappointing about the golden hour though
@@myrustygarden The Golden Hour taste is not that special. But there are soooo many toms on the tiny plant. We can formulate a trade for sure. I still want to try the kelsae onions from West coast too. We'll talk.
How interesting as it's been out over 3 weeks. Really screwed up with the umbrella pole in my face in the middle. I did a lot of editing work to try and save it. I'll fly over next year to sit on the panel🥰
@@RobinGardens Yes, I was surprised too - 3 weeks! This is the problem with the tiny screens on cameras and phones, you can't really see what is going on from a distance as you film LOL Your ticket is in the post ✈
❤🍅👩🌾
Thanks Robin. They are all new to me so I will look forward to growing some of them next year.

Nice one Robin. I was going to do a similar "panel" review but no one was available LOL
PS this just popped up as a new one from you!
