I was always small. I held a weight of 115 lbs most of my adult life until I hit menopause. Then little by little I gained 5 pounds a year until I reached 170 lbs. I was round as tall only 5ft 3". I took a look at myself, and what how should loose weight! Ok common sense don't eat double helpings like I use to. Eat less one egg instead of two one slice of toast not two. One serving instead of enough for two people. It worked an I got use to it. Weight went off a little at a time just like I had gained it. I eat what I want not two servings. That's it. It's that simple along with keeping active. I don't go to a gym but I garden and do yard work. So I stay active every day.
Not sure how much you think someone needs to be to be obese but there are plenty of hefty elderly people in aged care. Hence sturdy mechanical lifters to help move them so the nurses hopefully don’t hurt their backs moving them.
