I think it's just because he repeats questions until he gets an answer. People are used to saying things and not backing them up and being let go on it, and Jesse generally doesn't ever let that happen. 👍

99% of people will move on when they get resistance to a question because I think it’s a natural tendency to avoid awkward situations. But I really hate when he does this bc it ends up looking dishonest, exactly like you say, he’s fishing for answers so he can proceed in the way he wants. I must say, as a white-American, I have stepped into a mosque to study with Muslims, just as I have with other religions. There is almost always room for clarification or longer answers. For instance, "Have you stopped beating your wife?" It's a yes or a no question but is harboring a falsehood that must be addressed. Some Christians are very biased against any other forms of religions, they love to ridicule and deny that these people can be good and decent somehow. Some even try to deny the original church, the Catholic Church. We are lucky that the law allows other religions to exist otherwise perhaps some Protestant Christians would be as dangerous as the islamists who also don't tolerate other religions. Some Christians blame ALL the Jewish people for "killing Jesus" and they are as hate filled to the Jewish people as the islamics are - that is very strange to me. As to the initial question, we navigate being itself across time. There is no top or bottom to be hit. As we navigate upward, meaning increases, and things manifest positively. I think he just did a poor job of explaining it, but genetic predisposition doesn’t mean that you just magically become an alcoholic one day because it was destined in your genes. It of course is always directly caused by the individual’s behavior, and some people who are genetically predisposed won’t become alcoholics because of that. What the genetic predisposition means is that you have traits that would more likely lead to alcoholism than others. It’s like tall people and basketball… not all tall people play basketball, and those who do play basketball did it as a choice, but as a population they have a physical trait that makes them more likely to succeed at and play basketball than others

I am a AA member since 1996 and it’s really looks the same as a Freemasonry and I didn’t know that. The philosophy behind is the same as we want to improve ourselves to become a better human being and not just stop drinking alcohol. With time and works on ourselves we try to see who we are for real and not just the image we have of us inside our head. I personally improved my unconditional love and not just for my friends and relatives. It’s a work in progress because we are sinner, human so un perfect.

Answer is NO for this man. He is honest and says he was not deliberately meaning harm to himself, he clearly was naive, or emotionally driven and sometimes mistaken - he is after all just a human being. I am a AA member since 1996 and it’s really looks the same as a Freemasonry and I didn’t know that. The philosophy behind is the same as we want to improve ourselves to become a better human being and not just stop drinking alcohol. With time and works on ourselves we try to see who we are for real and not just the image we have of us inside our head. I personally improved my unconditional love and not just for my friends and relatives. It’s a work in progress because we are sinner, human so un perfect.
