    I’m unger all the way!!! With the ledger I drilled a hole in the brass handle so it locks onto my unger tip & it works great. With wood tips I cut an inch off the end and they’ll work good with unger or accelerator handles, But if I’m swiveling with the Excelerator I stick with the unger tip.
    Excellent tips on tips👌🏼

    I agree unger pole tip for the win. You CAN lock the moreman handle on the unger tip. It will lock on the lower hole on the handle. The hole that would face the window as you use the handle.Thanks for all the tips about tips lol.

    Hi Stephen,
    Maybe this is only on the newer Moerman Excelerator 2.0 handle, but they have a hole on the "bottom" of the handle (the side that faces down during straight pulls) that locks into Unger tips. It really adds peace of mind during window cleaning operations.
    Great video!! Thanks again for all your help!!

    I loved the wooden tip for my moerman tho. Only downside of it is you cant use unger ninja on it. And after 3 weeks i found my wooden tip over screwed, wont get stuck anymore

    Putting on the "Tips", Simple and elegant presentation, we are set up with Ettore system with some Unger items, I have always liked the Unger Tip if feels more stoute & the release button is simpler to press!

    I try to only use my wood tips on brass ledgers. Ill put the tip on the squeegee and drop in it my bucket for a couple of mins. The woods supposed to be wet. It swells and holds tight. Only issue is they are hard to get off. So again only used when really needed. But they work great.

    Overall, i use the Excelerator 2.0 on Unger tip overall. And it locks on! I wonder why yours doesn't... is there a difference between the old green one and your orange tip?
    Great video, simple yet informative!

    I’m looking into carbon trad-poles: What High-rise poles can link with maykker Mini?
    Let me explain: if I had a 30+ft carbon pole and a Mini I could split the 30+ into two or three smaller reach poles.
    Why: I use an electric bike or small electric car.

    Is there a way to attach these tips to a standard painting extension pole?

      Depends on what painter pole you have...if its an acme thread you can attach this tip windowcleaner.com/mr-longarm-plastic-pole-tip?pt=MY

    I use mostly Ettore poles with modded locking tips. The button is lowered to work with Moerman, detailing squeegee,, and Wagtail handles. The new triangle Unger pole tip is great, the older tip is good too. My Moerman handles, and Wagtail, are slightly modded to click on with a light push and pull while depressing the button.

    You can lock a moerman excelerator on an unger tip, just turn it over and lock the lower hole on it! It locks on super tight

    I get the techno pad holder to lock. All that is required is to make a 1/4” cut in the plastic in the shape of a triangle, so the button on the Unger tip can be pressed

    • @bryanbryant9962

      The Xero carbon fiber trad pole is available with Unger tip. It comes with an adapter or connector. The Unger tip clicks onto one end, and the other end inserts into the pole.

    I just bought two optiloc poles by unger. the aluminum ones and the locks are a super tight fit. is that something that breaks in? I mean you have to jam the handles onto it to get them to click lock into place. im guessing thats just cuz theyre brand new. but i mean its plastic and its rubber. so i know plastic wont break in very well. depends poylmer. lol. my older poles work perfectly just not sure if they changed them or what.

    • @typerightseesight
      @typerightseesight 3 роки тому

      that one at 1:34! I have that 6 foot 3 section and 12 foot 3 section. not sure. havnt tested them yet. but i bought them because im assuming the 3 sections is awesome with the second slot ninja. i have the 30 degree. tho. so not sure. might have to pick up a 40 degree for the 2 section pole that I have. the red one that unger says is for bathrrrrrrrrrrrrrooms. lMAO fish.

    • @typerightseesight
      @typerightseesight 3 роки тому

      also, wouldnt wagtail a 3 section pole.. not an unger one. lol. not the optilock.hahahah. or the fliq.

    How do I put moreman tool on regular pole? Or better yet how do I out a tip on a regular pole...?
    Nevermind... I watched the end... Well wth! The 30' pole I got is useless without the damn tip and moreman tool... That is stupid imo... I'm not a pro. But I do like to make it easier on myself when I do my own windows... And I got the tool and a pole. Not a $1000 cause I'm no pro... Can't justify it... So what is my damn option...?

    Yo Steve O. Are the unger combi cleaner/squeegees any good or is it better to have separate tools?
    This is for cleaning a storefront. The windows are up really high so I need a pole.

      @@SteveOthewindowcleaner Also, Steve O, do you recommend squeeging with the pole extension, or do you get on a ladder and squeegee by hand? The window panes I'm cleaning are fairly large, about 80 inches across and probably triple that going down.

      @@user-id2hd3nl3g Depends on how safe it is, cleaning closer to the glass will usually be a better quality clean but with a pole gets the job done

      As far as commercial work goes. I've never had a better day than the unger ninja stuff. I just need to fine tune it with a carbon fiber pole. and maybe the ergotech pouch and belt. GREAT commercial tool.

    the plastic pieces have a way of bending to make them snug. like on the wagtail. look inside those holes. the should be lines for making them snug.
