- The $100 Dive Torch: Xtar DH1 1600 Test/Review
Apparently I make good dive torch reviews... No complaints from me!
Xtar reached out to see if I was interested in reviewing the Hunter DH1 1600 spearfishing dive torch. I jumped on the opportunity to explore the capabilities from another manufacturer and I was genuinely curious as to what quality you could expect from a $100 dive torch. Honestly, I was pretty very impressed. Check it out!

Appreciate your honesty! 👍
No doubt! Honesty is worth more than a free torch haha. It's dope little light.
Congratulations on your first ling! Another great video 👍🏼
Thanks! that was a fun one.

@@inkdreaper874 true!
Looks nice for hunting for sure
Yeah man for sure. Honestly, a solid unit. Excellent value.
What dive light do you prefer using the most?
@@alexwilliams1623 right now my go-to light is the orca ZD710. It's more versatile and adaptive, but also costs over twice as much.
I believe there is a internal ring, surrounding battery, that you unscrew out of the housing, pop the old switch inwards and drop it out, then install new switch....but hey I'm no engineer haha, just have taken many lights apart to fix switch lol.
That crab was like "holy smokes I'm in outerspace!!!"
Haha awesome, that makes sense. I'll definitely get your help when/if the time comes. And no doubt! They must think they are getting abducted. Imagine if fish were intelligent and had a scuba like system for land lol.
Is there a specific weight in crab your aiming for because of a rule or just preference
@@mk_II_ they have to be a minimum size of 6.5 inches. 165mm. It's the minimum size restriction set out by fisheries.
