My wife bought a renegade. Couldn't afford the trailhawk, so we ended up with a sport "upland". The upland trim comes with the trailhawk bumpers and tow hook, but not the extra rock mode or quite the ride height. So far, it's been pretty awesome. Been through some very soft sand here in FL. Had some fun in a construction area the other night driving over some obstacles. As soon as we have a group to wheel with, it's going to get some mud. Never wheel alone.
    Nice review.

It’s got a Jeep badge on the front and rear, it’s a JEEP and way more capable than others in the Jeep range. Check out the JRL MOAB trip this weekend.

I'm looking to buy a new vehicle and this is the one I have been looking at. It looks like a good all around vehicle. Efficient suv, looks like it handles all sorts of terrain and weather. Still trying to decide if I like the Anvil color or not. :)

I have a 2015 Jeep renegade trailhawk same color as yours but I have the mysky roof. It’s 2019 now and I still have it. I have traded in many vehicles since 2011. I traded in a Dodge Challenger rt for this renegade and I never looked back. My only worry is the reliability of this vehicle. I’m still waiting for the radiator fan to go out like many of you reported. it does have software issues from time to time which FCA never fixed when I took it in to have it looked at. I rather it be made in Italy than mexico for some reason lol When I first bought it it smelled like Italy lol. I would recommend you get a Jeep Wrangler two door. They are about the same length and the wrangler is probably more reliable. I wish they had made the renegade more rugged like spare me the carpet fabric and headliner fabric. Hair sticks everywhere. I wanna take my dogs in it but I have a phobia about dog hair and dog hair will be all over the floor and headliner. The wrangler is more capable of solving that problem I believe they have options for flooring and you can take off the whole roof etc. watch the dog hair fly away as you drive. But I’m stuck with this because I wanna pay off the dam loan. I do have an appreciation for small cars now. Love them! Easy to park and maneuver etc. if you absolutely must have a renegade get the trailhawk version for sure. I don’t see the point for the other versions. Why bother?? But like I said consider the two door wrangler first. When I first saw the renegade on UA-cam videos I said blah. Ugly. It grows on you actually. I wanted the Cherokee instead but I steered towards the renegade after taking a drive to a town in my Challenger rt and came across a dedicated Jeep dealer. I decided to check them out and fell in love with how spacious it looked for a small vehicle. Rest is history. I didn’t care for the JK wrangler at that time. But the JL looks promising. That’s why I would say look into a two door JL first.

2 years later, do you still own the renegade? what upgrades have you done so far? or is it highly capable stock?

Great video. Can the Corgi get in the Renegade without help? Looking forward to more videos.
