    I love your videos. Thank you so much I’m a grandmother, trying to support my grandson and I have to learn how to work on these bikes. I am in Missoula, Montana, and you are far far away from me. Anyhow, I thought it would be helpful. If you had displayed all the tools you need before hand and explain the tools that you use a bit better, so I can be prepared to do this on my own.

    Great video to help anyone. Just a few things I'd recommend is replacing all o rings even if they appear in good shape. Replacing the o rings on the expansion chamber too, im sure they all come in the kits. And start with a new spark plug. Happy riding

    Hey James
    Great vid
    As a tech I have to say on these bikes you have to raise the front wheel as if it’s in a wheelie position when filling rad coolant to prevent a air lock in the system. Failing to do this in most cases results in a over heating issue
    Keep up the good work !

    • @jameswharton3143
      @jameswharton3143  3 роки тому

      Hey Paul thanks for the feedback! I agree with your suggestion as I have herd of stories about the airlock. I personally squeeze the hoses when filling up and then check the level a few times first ride out. But the wheelie position sounds like a great idea

      Hey there, technically you need to measure the inside of the cylinder and refer to piston sizes to select with the correct one.
      In saying that the outside of the cylinder should be stamped with a letter on the carb side. Grab a torch as can be tricky to see.
      If you haven't done a huge amount of hours you should be sweet to stick with the same piston as the letter
