Last interview that I watched from 200 StAB wounds I've got recommended bleed for us to live by Gutted that became one of my favorite death metal records so I don't think I'm going to skip this one
Necrotic Nick- That's definitely a mutual love between 200 Stab Wounds and myself. Gutted is actually from Toledo where we're based so they're kinda local legends here. That album is flat out killer too.
I threw it up on Spotify after reading this. And yeah.... this album is fucking sick.

They are much more than a death metal revival band. They have those influences for sure, but none of these other nsosdm grooves like them

Love the channel and band. That said from my own personal taste only I was really hoping for actual questions like band vs band, album vs album etc. If those questions are there I will look but after 25min of these questions I had to tap out. First few were funny but got tired real quick. Again love the channel and the content and I will always upvote but god damn
Necrotic Nick- Thanks, man! We figured this was a good ice breaker in terms of having them over so we went with the "would you rather" angle since it's not always music related but we may do more like this in the future for sure.

I love what you said at 1:19:00 nick, last night I saw the morbid Angel tour, unfortunately revocations tranny blew before the show and are stuck in New Mexico until further notice but this meant crypta the 1st opening band got a longer set list, prior to the show I’d never heard anything from them and like you said avoiding listening to any of their stuff and was blown away by thier set, I also only heard 1 skeletal remains album before the show and was blown away by the tornado like pit as well and ofc morbid Angel rocked the house and I filmed kawazu and summoning redemption and uploaded it in my channel if you wanna check it out
P.s. in the morbid Angel vid in the background Paul from blood incantation is popping out from the curtains

Necrotic Nick- Thanks, man! Yeah, this was a lot of fun to do. Not very structured but I really enjoyed the fun conversations we ended up having with the guys honestly. That question was great by the way. We even circled back to the mustard bit with the pogo stick one later lol.

Talking about the dime in megadeth question. Dime almost was in megadeth! Dave mustaine and Ellefson asked dime to join megadeth when they were looking for a new guitar player, but dime would only join if Vinnie could, megadeth wasnt looking for a new drummer so dime declined

Europe has the edge on traditional/old school metal and Black Metal. American and European Death Metal is a tie. But, America gets my vote because of Hardcore Punk, NYHC, Thrash, Crossover and Alt Metal.

I have to play Chic on my college radio show in September because I'll be seeing them with Duran Duran! It's gonna be awesome! It's not really Chic unfortunately because Bernard Edwards and Tony Thompson both died in 1996 and 2003. Not going to be the same, but I'm definitely gonna have a fun time at the show. It's gonna be great! Forgot to say that is Niles Rodgers's band! This is going to be awesome! He's done more producing over the past 40 years and he was also with Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams when they did the song Get Lucky! That song was very huge back in 2013! Wow! Have to play Chic on my radio show because I'm seeing them with Duran Duran. I'm hyped for it! Gonna thank my mom for suggesting me to put Duran Duran on my show.

I saw 200 Stab Wounds on the Undeath tour, and you would've thought 200 Stab Wounds were the headliners because everybody showed up for them. Almost everybody left before Undeath, which I like Undeath too so I felt bad for them. But even I was mainly there for Stab Wounds.
Phobophilic who opened opened were boring as hell. I think that band needs to work on their stage presence or make some changes to their music to make it more unique or fun because they didn't even look like they were enjoying it.
Great video, it was fun to watch...even if we will never see eye to eye on power/symphonic metal hahaha

Necrotic Nick- I strongly recommend all of their stuff. It's only one full length and an EP as it stands but there's more coming in the future for sure.
