Do you know the factory stated 0-60? That's actually not bad for a 1.3 diesel. My 1.6 diesel fiesta is quoted 11.2 secs. I really want to map it from 90hp to 120hp but there's the worry about the ULEZ scare and having to sell it early then feeling like I wasted money doing that on the car
@@GeorgeAusters yeah but the main worry is about the ULEZ expansion in 2021 and if the current mayor gets elected again next year I'll have to sadly sell the car then before it gets hit hard with depreciation. Its less than a year away if I was to sell the car so I think its not worth the remap. If there wasn't this ULEZ charge rubbish I'd happily get it mapped as I know I can keep the car for longer.

I don’t know shit all about cars but I’m guessing it’s slow being a 1L🤣 do you think it’s good for a first car?x
Question mate. You having any problems with your remap like clutch slipping or out ? Wanting to get this done but unsure if my clutch and fly will be able ot handle it
@@2sik_UK I think these make around 70bhp stock and a generic remap takes them to about 95bhp. I'd like to think a tailored remap, with the exhaust and intercooler would get them to about 100bhp, reliably and with better fuel economy and minimum to no extra smoke. If i had one, i'd probably go down that route.

Sorry mi inglish, my corsa c 1.3cdti have 380.000km remaped sincee 110.000 in Portugal no problems no smoke, i repair.the turbo for segurance 270k for no broke. I Need change the clotch just now, everithing is original everithing is ok , rule nice nice same tdi 110tdi cv. Remaped for 100hp , still egr but i clean in 150k egr and colector admission and tensor chain .. sorry for words, but i very happy and i need compart. If you remaped good this car you you have a good good car for long time and a good car for the price and realy good utilitaire Speed max is 205kmh/ +-150mph Really really , mi friend have the same remap 320.000 no problems never. Just something oil radiator oil i think

I had mine 14 years from brand new! Oil change every 12 months with Comma 5w 30 and I have never had engine trouble. Its only done 50,000 miles :)

Remap on a diesel is never a waste mate

If you do a lot of miles then you'll save more than the remap on fuel

I'd like to see one with a full turbo back exhaust, a front mount intercooler and a tailored map.
No power mods aside from remap and EGR off

Not on this engine, the power tails off after 4000rpm, maximum torque is around 2000rpm
Folding down the rear seats knocks 3 seconds off the 0-60 time..
