In walks, on two legs, bipedal, bipedaly walks: a full-fledged mean girl bully, popstar. A cheerleader with a side ponytail and a fresh fucking mani. She walks up to me and I’m like: who is this adult woman? Like this entrepreneur? This like cheerleader? This popstar? Who is she? Where’s the pokemon? Is she behind the model?
She just like walks up to us like she’s joining the conversation of adults. Like she’s an- this is just like an adult woman. Sneasler is her name. She’s standing there. She like crosses her arms. She like taps her foot. She looks me up and down. I’m like OK she’s judging me, like I get it: I’m ugly. I’m not you. I’m never gonna be you.
I thought I was gonna get a helper pokemon. Like, but, this isn’t helping anything this is- actually you’re bullying me. She’s bullying me. Ok? At this point she’s bullying me. And they’re like she’s going to help you, just play the flute for her, so that she can like open her heart to you, right? So I play the flute.
Y’all she fucking laughs at you. She laughed at me. Right? Like she laughs at us. Sneasler laughs at us, that’s not like a thing that pokemon do. Wyrdeer didn’t laugh at me. Ursaluna didn’t fucking laugh at me. This bitch. This B-I-T-C-H laughs at me. I didn’t know pokemon were capable of laughing at people but she laughed in my face.
I have never been more humiliated in my life. Nothing can ever undo the- the like hit my pride took. The humiliation of that moment. You know I knew she was gonna hate it and she did. She did. She hated every minute of it. She laughed at me. She laughed at me like I’m a lowly little worm and it’s like: I know you’re prettier than me. She has more friends than me. She’s more successful than me.
As if I even have any pride left for which to be chipped away at. They tell me to climb into her backpack. They tell me to climb into a basket so that she can carry me up the- up the walls. So now I’m in the backpack of a cheerleader and I paid sixty dollars for this game, I don’t deserve it. I don’t deserve to be humiliated like this.
She’s like climbing up trees and shit like Edward Cullen. You can see my stupid little eyes on her back. She’s like “hang on tight, spider monkey” and I’m just like there for the ride I guess. And I- I don’t know why she’s doing any of it but it’s not for me. You know? It’s gotta be some kind of self-serving thing for her.
I don’t trust her and yet I love her. I would follow her to the ends of the earth and yet I would love to slap the shit out of her. She’s just not what I expected from this game. At all.”

Why does her voice even works so well for Sneasler
having now watched the entire legends arceus playthrough, honestly the arc amanda goes through where she goes from hating that she needs this mean girl bully cheerleader popstar to help carry her around, to being inspired enough to go get an alpha sneasler for her party, to rooting for sneasler after she got her statue at the temple, and building an army of sneaslers is so iconic.

I think my fav part of this on the 6th-something rewatch is the _ever so slight_ tone change in her voice around 1:57.
Just the ever so slight quiver in her voice on "They tell me to climb into a *_basket"_* like she hadn't even hit the bottom after being laughed at...

The problem to me is that Sneasler is 4'3", yet towers over every character in the game.
All of the Noble Pokemon are super big compared to others
An alpha bidoof is nearly as tall so you but they're still listed in the dex as 1'4"-1'8"
I have an average Sneasler who's like 1.55 or something and he's taller than me and when I realized that I was like "ayo is my character that small???
Aren't all nobles alpha size ?
The funniest thing about this is that I evolved a normal Scyther into Scizor, and an alpha Sycther into Kleavor. Not only was the Scizor taller (which you could excuse as the Kleavor not setting up right), it it's apparently 7'something yet a trainer is almost at height (again could be the posture).
My favorite thing about LegArc fanfic is that the writers not only 100% agree that Sneasler is just an adult woman, most fics basically say “this woman is the reason Ingo can remember to eat regularly & drink enough water. This is a found family & she is a snarky yet loving big sister figure.”
I love how there’s this divide between “Sneasler is supermom, mother of the year” and “Sneasler is staunchly child-free” and both sides agree that she is the reason Ingo hasn’t walked off a cliff or eaten rotten food

GameFreak knew what they were doing by giving Sneasler the Poison/Fighting type. She’s toxic yet fierce. She slays.

Alright so I came across this by accident through Tumblr when I was looking at somebody's page and I was rolling on the floor I just came across her this person's UA-cam channel like a couple weeks ago. And I and my heart are so happy for Christmas time. This made my life. Op is amazing and the town and the words. 10 out of 10 out of 10 out of 10 perfect imo. Tony talks and is short for why I don't work at call centers and help people find their packages. Now it's a plug anybody or anything just saying hilarious guy. I'm definitely tries to make everybody laugh and then a minute he is definitely something to look at if that's okay to say I'm here I hope she's okay with that. But I do watch this video maybe once a week. I feel like this one should be featured on like the UA-cam main Channel like how can you not.

You know when I first saw sneasler I was like, I hate this. I can't believe they ruined sneasel's evolution and turned it into lanky sneasel. But then I saw sneasler in battle and I was like...........ok the pose is awesome I like it.
Not to mention you can also get Weavile through space time distortions so you can choose which one to use.
Honestly I’ve always kinda liked Sneasel and sorta hated Weavile, probably the crest on its head but idk I just never liked it much, whereas Sneasler I kinda love and might be my favourite or one of my favourite Pokémon, kinda makes sense since it’s fighting type and got huge claws
When I first saw it I was like "okay so.. regional Sneasel.. wonder where the Weavile is, weird that the noble isn't fully evolved" and they told me it's name was Sneasler.. *er* just... more Sneasel and I just.. blue screened at it.. like they could have made a weird lanky Weavile, would have been fine but it is too similar to a Sneasel for me to think of it as an evolution and not just a form change..

She's definitely seen Weavile. Amanda is a gigantic pokemon nerd. But I agree with Amanda that Sneasler is on a different level of sass than Weavile. Weavile always looks ready for a fist fight in the anime. But Sneasler looks like she'll cut you with her words.

I've only seen two reactions to Sneasler so far, but I'm starting to wonder if anyone's initial reaction to Sneasler, other than me, was positive (I mean, I THINK this was a negative reaction, it wasn't 100% clear). I saw Sneasler and was like "oh that's a cool design. Really interesting take on a sneasel evolution. Kinda sassy looking, but still keeping some of sneasel's cuteness", but then the only two reactions I've seen to Sneasler from other people have just been *intense* .

I saw sneasler in a leak and just squealed "Long sneasel!" I love her so much. Weavile is okay and I like it well enough, but sneasler is my favorite.
I was already over the moon for Hisuian Sneasel, and I was overjoyed to see that Sneasler was even more of what already made Sneasel great both in physical attributes and personality, instead of just making it symmetrical like Weavile. I still like Johtonian Sneasel and Weavile, but the Hisuian line immediately blew them out of the water!
all of the other pokémon i know that have laughter animations (being froslass and now flutter mane) are all the mean girl type
