It was a pleasant surprise. Honestly, with all the years I have used meters, I still mess this up, and on some meters that will blow the fuses and you have to take the cover off and replace them...
I'm usually not a fan of off-brand dmm's (except for my 121GW), but that's a clever idea on the part of Kaiweets. Hopefully, other manufacturers will take note. If you're willing to lay out $40 there are a variety of oscilloscopes on scamazon that will gitter done. I don't think I'd settle for one that doesn't even do 1Mhz (or have a case) to save 20 bucks.
I love Big Clive’s videos because he always uses cheap off-brand DMMs and dollar store screwdrivers. He has Fluke DMMs and a Keysight oscilloscope, but it’s very rare they appear in his videos, and when they do, they are not central to his work.

Same. I really love his approach. Whenever I feel like I need a huge complex filming rig, I remember what Big Clive does with just a smartphone.
