I've been using QTTabbar ever since this video came out and it is *extremely* useful. Superf4 hasn't been used that much but I will sometimes run into a program that not only forces itself to the front and freezes the entire computer, but also prevents task manager (Mostly just older games). Being able to simply click on the icon and then click the screen stops whatever is going on most of the time.
Omg the first one is so useful. Having tabs in explorer is so useful for modding, cause I always have loads of explorer windows open and this makes it so much easier. Thank you

about QTTabbar there's a feature you haven't talked about if you put your mouse on a video or image it'll zoom the image and it'll zoom and play the video that was so useful for me
After installing it again I was able to uninstall it without the error message and it's not visible anymore, but I am still investigating, because my computer is still funny (speaker icon doesn't work) but it's MUCH more responsive to do basic things like opening "settings" by right clicking the start button, for example. They implement those improvements by changing something on a few DLLs and I guess that's not working well with the latest Windows Insider, at least. It's a great idea but something that should be implemented properly by Microsoft.

one thing I LOVE about QTTabBar is being able to double click inside a folder to go back one screen instead of clicking the back button or using backspace.
First of all, QT Tab Bar didn't save the contents of the tabs when I switch between them like a web browser would, which meant that my computer had to reload all of the contents of a folder, which is not idea for HDDs, especially big ones. I'd rather just have multiple windows open. Second, I could not find the option to disable the preview, at least on my version, which I found to be very obnoxious and tanked my computer. Third, I got the error "install server not responding" every time I tried to uninstall it, and I had to delete its folder directly and run DISM and sfc to get rid of the preview.

Qttwebbar doesn't seem to have a dark option. Sense I use dark mode on win 10 my file browser is dark so the white of the tab bar sticks out like a sore thumb
By the way window's task manager is less likely to no chance of crashing. The one's who wrote that, programmed taskmanager to run as long as the unit is turned on, but even other windows proccessess comes crashing. Tough taskmanager
I noticed that the Recycle Bin doesn't really empty when you delete the items. Is there a way to actually delete everything, especially photos? Was just wondering.
Super f4 sounds pretty cool. There's also a command in Windows to kill tasks that can be run from command prompt or just the run box even : taskkill. It's pretty useful but of course if something is compeltely flogging your resources you might not be able to use any kind of shell to get it to run.
QTTabBar! It even wraps the tabs onto multiple rows when you make the window smaller! Locks tabs so you can't go up a level and lose it. Creates a new tab if you do go up a level. Microsoft should buy-out these guys, like SysInternals.
MSI Afterburner in my experience is a must for nVidia GPUs, specifically to set the desired fan profile. Just don't run nVidia GPUs under load without making sure to have the proper fan profile applied. MSI AB does it magnificently. PS: my case scenario is running 2 or 3 GPUs (RTX2020Ti to GTX1080) under full compute/rendering load for hours per day, over several years, but even in lighter scenarios such as gaming I strongly suggest to make sure cooling is effective.
As a Cybersecurity Architect, let me offer a few very easy to use but incredibly useful and powerful apps. perhaps you can include them in your next list if you find them useful. Everything. That's the name. IT's the fastest local, mapped, and external drive indexer and search there is. Period. Then there's chocolatey. Install all your 3rd party apps possible with chocolatey. I won't dig into it here but trust me when I say, once configured, you can install something like Firefox by typing, "choco install firefox -y" in an admin command prompt and that's it. It' gets the installer from the developer sites so no jacked code. then when you want, you can run "choco update all -y" and every app installed with Chocolatey gets updated by them in seconds. We use it to create our own package transforms and the like but the free basic functionality of Chocolatey is excellent. You can even install the other app I mentioned here with it. Check the Chocolatey switches available to you, they are very useful.
Throttlestop is pretty cool for those who want to undervolt and overclock their CPU on Windows without going into their bios menu. Takes a bit of trial and error to tweak everything to your desired needs, but the results are pretty sweet and those cooler CPU temps do not disappoint.
Sysinternals tools aren’t exactly created by Microsoft . They were created by Microsoft employees themselves as pet projects and personal “i want a tool that does this” projects. . In my opinion, GOG Galaxy 2.0 is the way of the future for gamers. I'm a huge fan of CD Projekt (the whole group), my fandom may border on fanboyism at times, but Galaxy is just so solid. Yes, it's still beta, it still has issues but every time I've had an issue, their support team has gone above and beyond to help me figure it out. Frankly, since I started using it, I only really open the other platforms when it's a newer game that needs a lot of my system resources. Otherwise, Galaxy is my only platform because it makes everything simpler... plus, it makes me even happier to buy exclusively from GOG when I have the ability to do so, since it simplifies the installation process. I'm glad we can still download the offline installers direct through our browsers but it is definitely nice to be able to have the option to use their client.
Im having problems installing QTTabBar as Norton detects it as malicious. bypassing that windows defender physically will not let me run it and even advanced options don't let me continue. any tips?
Same, my McAfee is acting up too, and for some reason I am unable to uninstall it as well. Looks useful but seems shady from a shady insecure website and and unsigned program which doesn't even uninstall due to some windows installer error. I legit freaked and system restored to a previous version when I could not find no way to get rid of it.
Help, I only have the tabs enabled, but the program also moved the panel with shortcuts for cut, copy, paste, delete that's under the folder location bar from the right to the left side, making them useless for me, I can't figure how to change that in the program settings.
Check out WizTree if you like TreeSize or WinDirStat. It's so much faster and reads the MFT. Seriously, WizTree is fantastic and I have no idea how it doesn't get more recognition.
Thio Joe, you make so many prank tip videos that im too afraid that these 'free' programs will give my computer a virus. You're like the boy who cried wolf.
Heads up: If you’re not a more advanced user, make sure you have Windows automatic updates DISABLED if you’re going to run programs and applications that modify core windows functions like task mger, explorer, powershell, etc. The reason for this is files for those functions and changes in your registry may be made during an update, and you run a big risk of corrupting parts of your operating system. My suggestion: if you’re going to run these programs and need an update, do it manually and uninstall these programs until after your update is finished. Otherwise you will be reinstalling Windows every couple months. Trust me.

Holy crap, I didn't know GOG Galaxy had that many features!
Yeah my jaw dropped when I saw that. I thought it was all about Steam.
Please tell Microsoft to improve their inbuilt, basic Sticky Note farther, please!
Windirstat is prohibitively slow, so I switched to WizTree and it does the same thing but fasterer
Wiztree has some major problems. It doesn't support network shares at all. It also doesn't allow you to embed scripts.
Completely agreed. I don't know how I took so long to find this piece of software. Lifesaver.
@@TheOneTonHammer, that's for power users though.
Gabriel Ribeiro I have a mycliud 4tb and. I’m no power user. The script i use just allows me to run media info against any file windirstat selects.
@@TheOneTonHammer Yeah network shares are kinda a not for WizTree so I just carry both.
A lot of processor programs will get you kicked from CS:GO for example it will detected as Cheat,I had that problem with process hacker
Thio Joe, you make so many prank tip videos that im too afraid that these 'free' programs will give my computer a virus. You're like the boy who cried wolf.
_ABSOLUTELY SPOT-ON CORRECT_ .
EXCELLENT catch !! - Well done .
Trust me.
I like the QTTBar. The rest were good to know, thanks for sharing
WinDirStat has some very handy SU attributes that I really like
TY for telling me about qttabbar, i thought you had to be on the windows dev build only to get it
