That robber was pretty strong to hold that gun while Robocop bent the barrel.
I'm questioning the angle of the punch that made the robber fly in the weird direction.
He's both strong, AND physics defying.
lol what calibre do you think that gun is? 😂
You know I never paid attention to that lol
@philleotardo_o it's a Sterling Mark 6 submachine gun chambered for 9x19mm
@@ray.shoesmith 9mm?
Robocop
When you are already ded but the management still needs you.
I love the cold stoicism with which Robo responds to the lady's hot pleas towards him!
God I love the 80's...I miss the 80's.
Me too bro
Me 3 although I was born in the late 80s Robocop was my childhood movie
Lol me 4@@alskyviewerallen9665
I miss the 80's to
For sure
1:22 I still find it hilarious that the safe was covered with a stack of Miller Lites 😂
Gotta love advertisements lol!
@@garzilla4624 yep 😂
Yeah because nobody wants the softcore stuff...😄
haha yeah they seemed very light...almost empty lol
ROBOCOP: Identify Yourself!
The liquor store robber originally had more lines after the first *_"Fuck me.",_* but the actor was so blown away by seeings the full *RoboCop* costume for the first time that he forgot his lines and just kept repeating *_"Fuck me!"._* Verhoeven liked it, and so he left it in.
Actually this was a real robbery
I remember the TV edit was "Why Me, Why Me" hahahahaha!
Twas one of the most memorable scenes from the movie that still sticks with me till this day.....awesome acting and adlibbing.
Repeating that line makes sense in this context. He’s firing round after round with no effect.
@@A-Name-101Yeah I remember that too. Directors like, we gotta do a pg version of this scene so you gotta repeat why me. He’s like sure.😂
That aim, and accuracy with that hand cannon
🤣🤣🤣🤣
*"I'd Buy THAT for a dollar !!!"* 🤑🤑🤑
I'll buy that for $10 (adjusted for inflastion).
Still worth it lol
The original of that line was, "Would you buy that for a quarter?"
As written by C.M.Kornbluth in The Marching Morons, a sardonic sci-fi novel from the Fifties. He used the same concept as Idiocracy - that stupid people would out-breed smart and average people, until the US was an entire country of dimbulbs. The plot was quite different, though.
Is this a reference to the movie?
@@wrexstrongo YEP !!
*OLD BUT GOLD!*
Indeed! Cheers...
Thief#1: Ouch 😓
Old movies are the best 👍
100
Even showed some titty. Excellent movie.
One of the best sci-fi satires of the 1980's.
That's true 👍
It was awesome
@@markisaac3550 That it was.
Satire ? It was prediction of the future . We now live in that distopia .
@@donholiday4942Only with even less reliable cops, and the AI drones aren't any better :s
We keep getting the boring evil parts of cyberpunk dystopias and none of the cool shit!
No one talks about the insane grip strength of the robber in order to hold the gun steady while Robocop bends it.
To be fair, it looks like it's about a .001 calibre
Or that he just trashed their store 😂
It’s the way robocop positions his fingers as he bends it. I was actually there but you can’t see it on the film
The fulcrum is on Robocop finger so with an extreme force is probably possible
I guess robo was so strong he bent it without affecting the rest of the weapon? lmao..
0:15 I’m old enough to remember when that model of Ford Taurus looked futuristic enough for this film 😂
"Your move, creep."
The cry of the guy when that bullet hits his groin. Every guy on the planet felt that.
Don’t mess with the supercop…!
Only if you cared about the balls of some scumbag.
0:28 - still gives me chills when the Robocop theme music drops
Masterpiece of a movie. Art deco and violence with amazing story.
0:29 iconic theme🔥🔥
Basil Poledouris was brilliant. This, the original Conan, and the themes for Hunt for the Red October (which often gets reused as a trailer song when a movie’s own score isn’t done) are his best.
Cancer took him too young.
@@Bobaklives and don't forget Starship Troopers - also his work.
Robocop thank you for your cooperation good night
An old flick that easily kicks "films" from today.
I loved this movie and Robocop on the CPC 464 as a kid. Good days.
You must be a pretty good vintage if you had a CPC 464, like I did. Oh, wait. Dammit.
I like how he just leaves the dude in the grocery store and walks off without even taking him away. Like "Clean up in aisle 6", let the store owners do their job 😂
Iconic just iconic
It was a B movie when it came out. By today’s standards it was a masterpiece. And I’d STILL buy that for a dollar!!!!
B movie -.Didn't it do pretty well !?
It was never a B movie. It was only treated as a B movie by studio executives that didn't understand it before it's release. The film was a smash hit, making $53.4 million off of a $13 million budget. The film had a well-written script that elevated it above standard B movies.
ROBOCOP: Stand 🆙
It's still a B movie. The writing and acting is top cringe. It's just so bad that it's good! Lol
Much better action then
The robber flying face first into the cooler 🤣😂🤣
Good times for cinema! But nowadays it’s sad!
Absolute masterpiece this film is for its time and still is now👍I personally think that no sequels should of been made 👍👍
Saying that the newest video game was great.
Love how the fridge glass door was alreay broken before he flew through it. 2:07
Thank you for your cooperation. Goodnight.
The storyline of this movie was awesome. I miss storylines of the past.
Imagine having to restack the beer every time you access the safe.
Imagine having to DRINK enough Miller Lite to hide the safe.
Came here to find this comment
just the front... not the sides or top ha..
@@cranbers still.... 😅
I'm still remember Robocop
The way Robocop bent that gun is so hilarious.
lol the fact this wouldn't work!! The guy holding the gun would have to exert the same amount of force as Robocop to stop the gun moving for the barrel to bend!
@@shuggiemcg1 correct - equal but opposite force to counteract Robocops' force.
Thief#2: Now, You’re Mine!
@@shuggiemcg1 does he need to use both hands to bend it?
No But he would need and @@weemadangus1834 no! But he would need the guy to be able to resist the gun moving! Otherwise it wont bend and will just be pushed down!
So many great movies from the 80's 😍😍
'Your move creep' lol, right up there with 'Go ahead, make my day'
This film is a masterpiece for many centuries. Ahead of his time. There's nothing like that right now, not even close! Nostalgia.
80s movies were the best!
I bought this movie at a yard sale yesterday for a dollar.
"Thank you for your cooperation. Good night."
2:10 “Thank you for your cooperation, goodnight.”
The music is epic too.
3:32 ooo right in the jewels
Believe or not that two creep from 2:32 also appear in The Punisher (2016) comic and have the same fate.
.....your saying in two separate realities that guy gets his testicals shot to bits?!?! woof....thats rough but not gonna act like he didn't deserve it
@@Gojiro7 Yup in the Movie he been shot by RoboCop and in the Comic by Punisher.
@@kai-gp2sd Its the only way he learn!
Thief#3: Boo 👻
This movie is so well cast. Everyone is perfect for their part and I can't imagine anyone else doing the parts.
Even the small roles were played so well
Guy shouting you haven't got the balls to shoot
That entire 10 seconds of the robbery scene was so epic.. you have his gun bent, he runs for it gets throw into a cooler glass winder.. he says thank you for your cooperation, and we have the tv saying.. id buy that for a dollar hahahaha. and the lady (assuming wonder of the store) pulling up her sweater with glee. This movie was so entertaining the little things and the slow pace is what made it so awesome. Now days its action non stop move on move on. NO time to savor anything.
"Thank you for your cooperation. Good night." I love Robocop! :)
it always amazes me the rack of comic books something you would still see in liquor or gas stations in the late 80's and early 90's
We live in RoboCop's dystopia except we have no RoboCop.
THANK YOU..... that took 50 takes
I love the shopkeeper laughing like a maniac at "I'd by that for a dollar!" xD
That music would make an awesome ring walk entrance 😊
A stack of Miller Light cans knocked over and they're empty !😂😂
Thank you for your cooperation. Good night.
Drop the gun. You’re under arrest.
Robocop: drop it! Dead or alive youre coming with me! Thank you for youre cooperation good night
0:25 "Nice composing, son. What's your name?"
"... Basil"
*Poledouris leaves, to the starting notes of the Robocop theme*
I hear that Robocop is needed in Portland and other ''defund the Pawlice'' cities...
Gonna need a robocop in America because the crime over there these days is nuts.
I miss the 80’s
Truly one of the 80s‘ best sci-fi movies!
How was this movie turned into a cartoon?! 😂
murphy- i died, i can't come in today
Police department- nah were short staffed you're coming
Can't recall where I read it, but apparently the armed robber was a stunt co-ordinator and it was his idea to be launched into the refrigerator which is why they used him for the full scene instead of an actor.
Lmao a perfect choice of words when a robot is walking towards u
The soundtrack is awesome.
I remember being a little kid in the 90s and watching this on VHS and the same music in robocop was the same music the lakers had in their 1987-88 back to back championship video.
Good times. Great movie 🤖👮🏼♂️
I’d buy that for a dollar!! 😂
thank you.
2:56 when i was a kid, I'm not understand what is hair down there 😂😂😂
One of the best movies of all time.
Kinda ironic and funny how both the thugs and the victims laugh themselves stupid to “I’d buy that for a dollar” 😂
This is the best Robo Cop
¡Es mi película preferida y la sigo apoyando gracias 'Robocop'!👍😃
He didn't even take the guy into custody. He just walked right out of the store. Terrible police work.
"Good night."
That little eyebrow raise that screams "WELP, I'm out!" when the barrel got bent is the best part. XD
415 in progress
Cops don't use codes anymore for ease communication
They don't make scores like this anymore.
Epic tunes!
Best scene of the whole trilogy.
We need RoboCop today !
Excellent
Doing a burnout in a 140 horsepower Ford Taurus? This really was a comedy sci-fi movie.
"Dead or alive, you're coming with me."
NYC, SF, LA, Baltimore, Memphis, Philadelphia, Newark, Detroit, Chicago, and other urban cities would be much safer with Robocop patrolling their streets.
This movie is so sad... You know, he died at service and was resurrected with the only purpose to keeping working, no salary, no retirement, only baby food as payment 🫠
Lmaooo
The TV version was funny, because he was yelling "why me, why me" lol!
The future is darker than this movie predicted.
The setting is 2044 so......
Peter Weller the goat in robocop
Looks better than any CGI out nowadays.
We are so amazed when this came out in a Game Boy console in the 90s.
F***ing awesome. They don't make them like they used to.
"Your move, creep" 😂
" I'd buy that for a dollar! " has become my go-to line for calling out bullshit.
3:26 best part of the movie 🎬 🎬 🎞 🎥
Ford Taurus - The Official Car of Robocop
"Thank you for your cooperation. Good night."
"Well......aren't you going to arrest him? He literally fired upon you with intent to kill and likely would of killed us after we had opened the safe."
*Leaves*
"Guess we'll have to call in to the police department or finish him off ourselves....."
It stands the test of time this movie, doesn't it!
The robber with the gun must be at least as strong as Robocop to not lose the grip when he bends it. Oh man, the 80s, it was a great time to grow up.
It is Fídel Castro😂!
*Awesome* movie! The sequels don't come close to this original!
"YOUR MOVE, CREEP...... " :)
Stinkface: 1:51
RoboCop: 2:05
Me: He asked for it.
In the future, police still drive Ford Taurus and things still can be purchased for a dollar. LoL
We could sure use a lot of robo cops now a days
I'd like to have that 80's British Sterling now.
