I love how the nuke loading rack at 2:25 makes that gimme, gimme, gimme motion.
The stop motion adds so much to this scene because it gives the impression that Kane is awkwardly stumbling around and his new body which he is not used to moving around in 😮
They had no time to test him and his brain is still addicted to nuke. Had they just flash cloned his neural pattern into the robots neural net he wouldn’t have that weakness.
“Now, how the hell do I walk again?”
Stop motion also gives things a real yet unnatural feel, making things seem like their really their but alien and unnerving at the same time
1:57 Anyone else noticed that Robo-Kane stooped down at the sight of Nuke and even sounded like "Whoa..." in a mechanical way as if he was mesmerised by it.
Yes lol
Lol😂
He really went >:0
Love the ratcheting sounds when Cain moves certain parts, the "whirr" of satisfaction he feels when he gets his nuke high, the otherworldly sound of the electrical discharges after his CPU/brain is destroyed. Classic.
You gotta give credit to OCP engineering. After having a multi-ton APC slam him into a reinforced concrete wall, Cain isn't even scratched. Even those exposed waist hydraulics are in perfectly fine shape.
1:05 That scar in Robocop helmet looks so freaking cool
Harry Potter?

That digital screaming at the end was accurately terrifying.
Love that line "of course there won't be any trouble from the dead ones", it's so reminiscent of the original film.
As a robot doctor, I can confirm that this is 100% accurate.
The robot brain is notoriously sensitive to being ripped out and smashed on the pavement.
_Wooooooow,_ who knew
"robot doctor " 😂😂😂
I love Johnson... "So many dead and wounded... of course we won't have any trouble from the dead ones."
😂
Brain is out, Robo-Cain still functional
@3:47 the eye bulge scene from Kane still creeps me out as an adult! 😂😂

Let's not forget Murphy just flexing by doing a plank while Kain is agonizing

“lol have fun dying imma exercise a bit”
The animation in these movies was so great
Top tier animation for sure
I still can’t believe how awesome was that stop motion. We have lost so much…
stop motion still exists... and honestly it doesn't look awesome at all. You're seeing it through rose tinted glasses. It actually just looks shit and totally brings you out of the film.
After Cain is destroyed, the machine returned in Robocop: Rogue City but this time, with the data of the OCP Boss
And by then, Robocop upgraded his Auto-9 to such degree that Cain's piddly machine gun seems like a peashooter in comparison...
That stop motion is still incredible even now (thanks to the genius of Phil Tippett) 👌👌👌
It has no mass, like toys fighting
2:49 the transition to stop motion Robocop here is amazingly well done
Bluetooth brain syncing.
Clearly Cain activated the unlimited ammo cheat on the controller before he destroyed it
I love the entire original trilogy, 1980's and 90's ultra violence at its best
The third one wasn't great, and the tv series was made for a kid friendly audience which planted it firmly in the ground. The 4 part mini series years later tried revving it, but suffered from very low budget.
Stop motion is a lost art 🤨
Liked the way Officer Lewis kicked the armored car driver off the vehicle
I'm glad they have bullet-proof tires on that vehicle at the beginning, or things may have worked out quite differently
I don't think bulletproof tires would matter in that scenario. He was going into that wall with a 30,000lb push whether he liked it or not
@@williamnixon3994 Well if the tire has been destroyed before Lewis even gets in the driver's seat, that vehicle isn't going anywhere...
Can’t thank you enough for this Robocop 2 is criminally underrated
Says you
Few too many letters there champ, let me correct it for you. Robocop 2 is criminal.
Definitely my favorite ❤️
Who here loves Star Wars, the Empire strikes back? Would it surprise you to know same Director? For both films.
You can watch the whole movie online mate 😅
3:47 Cain: *"NANI!?"*
3:46 "Goodbye!"
Hasta la vista, baby !
"You Are Terminated" (T-850).
Yeah, that final robosmash at the end is what really sealed the deal... because spreading his brain along the pavement like liver pate just wasnt enough
Its hilarious that OCP used Ford Tempos as police cars.
Ford Taurus
One of the best robocop piece!
Everything are perfect…😊
I think so.
At least he had a last dosis before death
It's funny how he finds it necessary to smash it with his fist after the brain has already been slammed on the ground. As if it wasn't already wrecked to begin with... LoL
It’s the only way to be sure
Looked like he bashed the spinal cord.
Awesome Film 👌👏👏👏
0:28 imagine how dangerous that was for the stuntman
"Just look at what they done. They are criminals. OCP won't own this city for long and I will see to that. I will take it to the streets, I will take it to the people." - Mayor Kuzak
I love how RoboCop pulls out the brain 🧠 and it’s soaking in that watery substance then he smashes it to bits.
3:35 - 'This looks important' - Alex Stark.
Did you really call him “Alex”?! IT’S TONY FUCKING STARK!!!
I thought the stop motion looked weird when I was a kid, but with the context of lazy uses of CGI in some modern movies, it’s aged well
I hope Abe Forsythe gets to direct "Robocop Returns"
Have anyone seen "Down Under" or "Little Monsters"?
They're wildly and funny
That stunt man holding on probably realized if he let go while that APC was turning he’d be a pancake.

RoboCop 2 is the most underrated sequel in movie history!
of course not, is rated as a masterpiece

Zemo in robocop 2.0 body.😂
Who would you win?: Robocain or T-800 (T2)?
@@ROVER25XThat’s true, Murphy’s armor in this sequel was able to endure a direct-hits from Cain’s 7.62x51mm Minigun and 20mm auto cannons although in the original (1987) he was easily torn apart by ED-209’s armaments but as aforementioned above, Murphy most likely received an upgrade to be more resistant and durable by the time the events of RoboCop 2 occurred. The T-800 units are noticeably weaker yet tough as nails as it was able to resist multiple hits from 12 gauge, 9x19mm, and 5.56x45mm. However, in 2015’s Terminator: Genisys. A single shot from a .50 BMG (with tungsten core armor piercing rounds) was able to penetrate its armored chassis and even decapitate it.
If it was a one-on-one match, I’d give it to Murphy. But if it was a handicap match with multiple T-800 units (or variation of the series like the 850s or 888) then I’m gonna go with the Terminators because of the overwhelming numbers and sheer strength.
@@Johnny_Serenity man stfu 😂😂😂, 1 and 2 are written by different people with different visions about Robocop
I would just die for licensed quarter scale Cane statue
Minigun shoot out against police squad. Looks familiar. T2 would be released 1 year later.
Robocop is a masterpiece. But it still makes me sad to watch it. Because there is still a family that was destroyed by this. That wife, their son. Imagine having that happen to your dad. Imagine having a hunch that your dad was still alive stuck in a machine. Also I love the 3rd Reich imagery in Robocop 2.
The Special effects looks better than the last Transformers Movie😅
Good afternoon excêlente movie ❤
It looks like this policeman did not take a test for the presence of narcotic substances in his blood when he was hired!

No way Robocop gonna lose to this goofball robot.

..The second the brain was pulled out, the machine should've just collapsed. Having some screen pop out with a digital "ghost" screaming on it is the most ridiculous way to do that scene..

Hard not to feel sorry for Cain. Does anyone wonder how it feels inside that armour? It’s a nightmare. And Cain’s ex is getting off on it.
