@@mollyrebekah7900 " If someone believes something about themselves long enough, it can trick the mind into believing it's true." kind of like religion! Let's do this: You believe in what you want to believe, focus on your own life, and I'll focus on mine. Don't forget that this life matters and yes, I agree it is short. If you use it to only think about the after-life you are going to miss out.

@@Codytalks11 I never thought you'd respond to me. People can say that about religion, but I was atheist for a while. I was raised in the Lord's church and lost my way, but I found my way back to God. So I didn't have my mind trick into religion, if I had I would have never left God the way I did. I'm not trying to get you to believe what I want, all I try to get others to see is what God wants. I promise you and not saying any of this in a hateful manner. You're human and I will treat you like a human. I just care about others. I do focus on my own life and I make sure that my life is pleasing in God's eyes. The way we live this life matters. We're to live the right way in this life, so that we can be in heaven forever in the next life, where there's no more pain, problems or sorrows. I want to spread the gospel to anyone who cares to hear it. I have God, in my life so I'm not missing out on anything. I couldn't say that 2 years ago. I am a member of the Lord's church, and you seem friendly enough to talk to. If you ever want to talk more on this feel free to do so. I hope you have a good night. Again I truly am saying this with kindness because it's how Christ would treat others.

Sunshine littlephilly I do respond to comments on my channel. I appreciate your concern but I’m happy with my life now and I’ve never felt more free. I grew up in the church and lived and believed just as you do now and I was the most depressed I’ve ever been. I’m happy your happy. I am too.

    • @mollyrebekah7900

@@Codytalks11 You grew up in the Lord's church? Members of the Lord's church don't think like the rest of the world. I will tell you that I haven't always been happy either, even though I was also raised in the church, that's why I left it. I have gone through so much and I was far away from God, and I didn't care. I have tried to kill myself. I won't get into everything that I have been through. Maybe you were depressed because the way people may have treated you in church. Or maybe you were different and more tomboyish and didn't feel accepted, and this got you down. I have been there. I have always been very tomboyish and when I was 12 I wanted to be a boy because they have it easier. I grew out of wanting to be a boy, but I still tomboyish, and still like guy things better than girl things, but I never changed my gender. I mean how do you feel about people when they get depressed and turn to drugs and/or alcohol? But just because one goes to church doesn't mean they'll never be depressed in this life. We can be happy here on earth and God wants us to be happy, but church or no church, you can't always be happy. Even though you say you're happy now; do you still not ever get down at times and depressed? If you do, then how is that got anything to do with church? I want you to be happy, but I just want people to know that they can be happier with Christ, and it may take a while for someone to see that, but it can be done. But I appreciate your friendliness. I hope I have shown you kindness and that you don't think I hate you. I can't force you to believe anything you don't want too. But I will pray for you.

You know you don't have to tell people how to life their life because you felt so alone in this world that you needed to believe in a god who put you here "for a reason" so you're not completely alone and your life isn't completely meaningless

as a tattoo artist make sure you wait at least a year before you tattoo over a scar. the reason is tattooing over it can cause damage if scar is too new. try to go for black and grey as the scar will hold the ink better, in the color spectrum red is least likely to hold. good luck in your ventures bro

I am a Christian and my biggest pet peeve about people using God to bash trans people is that their argument is usually something like, “God made you that way, so you should stay that way.” My response to that would be this: if your child is born with a cleft lip, or is born with a deformity of some kind or is born with cancer, does that mean you should ignore the medical advances we have now and let your child suffer or die because that’s how God made them? Of course not! So, why is it wrong for someone who was born feeling as though they are in the wrong body to take advantage of medical advances and fix what they feel is wrong?
I’m sorry for the bigots here, but please know that not all Christians are uneducated bigots.. Some of us have done the research with an OPEN mind and come to the conclusion that Transgenderism is NOT a sin and that all of you should be treated with just as much dignity and respect as everyone else. I apologize on behalf of every Bible thumper you have encountered who has tried to shame you or make you be anything other than your authentic self! I’m glad you are happy now!

But I'm not sure, I don't really talk much about it. And I think it's important that people who do talk about their experiences with lower surgery, or any surgery really, it's their choice to talk about and even if directly asked they don't have to provide an answer or talk about these things.

3:05 I'm ASTOUNDED your leg hair grew back from the graft!! WOW! Can't even tell you did anything, makes me a bit more curious about options :)
What are the options for implants vs. metoidioplasty?
I DID find out, if anyone is "hefty" like me, that there are a few surgeons who will do tummy tucks and use that excess skin part they take off for making a phallus, not having to use arm or leg tissue because the excess skin from weight loss is just as viable for tissue. I haven't looked into it in depth, but I found out it IS an option :)
Thank you for this video, it really helps to be educated, sorry some f the questions were hard to answer, but education and experience is what I love to share with anyone who asks me any questions (I opted out of lower surgery for now, maybe in the future it will be better/easier) I do have lower dysphoria, but not to the point where I want to sacrifice other parts of me and any sensation as of yet.)

I don't know cause I'm not seeing a way to message you so I guess I'll have to post this letter of sorts as a comment and hope you see it. This channel even if you maybe haven't posted in a while is literally EVERYTHING! Not real words to describe my appreciation for you and at large this channel. I just recently got phalloplasty and I'm far enough along that I'm close to second stage which is exciting. I just love one of the things you said. One of the things you said to which i'm sorry if i quote you wrong because it's so true, "it hurts but at least I have a penis." Your honesty in your journey is what makes your channel so great that you don't just gloss over the realness of what this surgery entails. It's a complicated surgery and painful. To which I also love that you stated how the pain meds didn't touch your arm graft pain because that's the truth of it and you're videos really helped me to even though everyone and surgeon is different it still helped me to kind of know what to expect going in to this so worth it journey. Thanks so much for making these even though I'm commenting just now in the year 2022 and I got my surgery last year. Sadly do to my pre-existing health issues with one of them being autoimmune I couldn't and can't get all the features I wanted so I didn't know if because of this and the surgeon hesitant to do the surgery if it would make my gender dysphoria worse to not get all the functions or features that i felt were right for me but so far I do not regret doing it. It is the best thing I could have done for myself. So I wanted to thank you vlogging about your journey. Once I qualified and the surgeon felt comfortable to do it after speaking to all my health specialists you vlogging about this was the main thing that got me through. Seeing as in my recovery i ended up having unexpected not good things happen to me by someone who signed up to help take care of me at the level where on top of my health issues I almost didn't heal properly. Furthermore when watching these videos and hearing you being honest about your complications with the arm graft and so much more truly gave me hope. It gave me hope that if you made it through even with things out of your control so to speak that were trying to stack against you (which in a different way was something that happened to me) than I could make it through too.

Hi Cody, love your honesty, you shouldn't be scared to talk about sex, its natural, and honestly i can only imagine how you must feel, one being in a position where you felt you needs to have gender reassignment done, im sure that already was years of dealing with personal issues, second undergoing any surgery is both dangerous and scary, so being brave enough to deal with that as well, and also just normal ridicule from people that are too ignorant to understand what you are going through. Also I think more people should be as honest and open as you and it will help more and more people slowly understand what people in your position are going through. Keep being real keep being honest, I hope your shared experiences help more people grow in understanding.

But nothing will change unless trans people started firstly admiting that the is used by many surgeons in the world either for testing or just to get money from. Then they need to step out and let their issue be known. We're so great when it comes to speaking about freedom of choice and freedom of sexuality and all of this great stuff but when it comes to freedom from physical torture in the name of medical treatment we must just be glad! This is really sad.l mate.

Hey Cody! I'm really glad you share your experience for all the other trans folks and people who want to know for someone in their life, maybe. I want phalloplaasty did bad but can't afford it because no one takes my insurance. However one of my fears is moot being able to climax. I know you said you aren't good at talking about sex. I just want to know your experience as a healthy person. I smoke cigarettes and am trying to quit because I don't want to lose even more sensation! If you put anyone you know had had phalloplasty and was a smoker can you do a little chat about that? Thanks man. You really are the best!

Unfortunate that your friend had or is having complications. They can and do happen to many. There are those that dont though. Depends on personal health and body. Depends on the Dr's, on location (country). It takes a lot of healing time for phalloplasty. Following Dr's orders are big. So many variables. Many choose to have phalloplasty as a life need in order to exist. Making for oneself whole as much as able. Those thinking of phallo , just learn all the risks. Educate yourself on the Dr's and reputation. Any surgery can possibly have complications. But don't get scared by what one person may say. As we all know so many may comment just to do just that. Just sayin.
