I'm gonna be honest here, this is the first video of someone from Korea ( or an Asian country in general where beauty standards are very different from where I am and a bit more strict ) that talks about dieting and losing weight that didn't make me sad all the way to the end. I love how you learned from your mistakes like restricting yourself from certain foods so much that you end up binge eating, and instead found a balance and lost weight in a healthy manner. I think the body knows when it's starving so that's where the binge eating comes from...I think it's possible to be slim or thin without constant continued starvation and without obsession.
@victoria.xseven7913 some bodies run heavier than others, so some people's ideal healthy weight doesn't look slim, which is perfectly fine too. Just saying this because I have struggled with it all my life

The person themselves would know if they are healthy or unhealthy, which is probably why I said "the body knows when it's starving" and I believe this can apply to people of all body types if a person would eat junk food or "constant diet" or oscillating between, it could create binge eating....starving for nutrition! Starving isn’t a way and not eating healthy either the main thing is you gotta do cardio and exercise cause when I was little I was skinny and when I grew more I grew fat and I had a stomach and now my mom introduces me into working out and I started looking slimmer and I finally lost my stomach and losing my inner thigh fat and knee fat but out it all it’s worth exercising just put in two years of exercise hard and you get the body you’ll want it won’t make you wider it will slim you you just gotta research what kind of weights to use and what to do to slim your body cause my mom motors out before and she told me to do this and now I have a curvy body 👍👍

This is similar to my experience! I was always the fat kid and teen. I had alot of starve-binge phases where I lost weight and then regained it again. Eventually I stopped and decided to just eat and not care anymore. After a few years I stepped on a scale and it showed the highest number I have ever seen (92kg/202lbs) and this number told me that I was officially obese now. I wanted to cry. But it also gave me the last push to start a weight loss journey. I learned from my past mistakes and decided to do it differently this time. I don't exercise because I hate it and I'm lazy. I love going on walks though. All I do is eat in a 500 calorie deficit. I fill my calorie intake with whatever foods I want. Some days are very unhealthy where I only eat sweets but still have a 500 calorie deficit. It's so easy. I can eat whatever I want it's just... less. And more controlled. At first it was difficult because my stomach was stretched out and needed huge amounts of food to be filled. Now it has adjusted and I can actually eat normal sized portions without feeling empty. I also stopped a bad habit of overeating until my stomach hurt. I started around 6 months ago and am now 78kg/171lbs. It's slow but very maintainable (I lose ~2kg/4.4lbs per month). I could eat like this forever. I'm still overweight but I know if I continue like this I will eventually get to a healthy weight.
@@Greenlleaff No, I eat in a 500 calorie deficit. My current TDEE (this is the energy your body needs to neither gain nor lose weight) is around 1800-2000 cals without exercise so I usually eat around 1200-1500 cals. This means I'm in a deficit of ~500 cals everyday and 3500 in a week. You need to be in a deficit of 7500 cals (through diet or/and exercise) to lose 1 kg/2lbs. So theoretically I'm losing 2kg/4.4lbs per month. This obviously varies a bit, sometimes it's a bit less and sometimes a bit more. Bodies aren't machines

It also has to do with the ethnicity too. Asians are more at risk of health problems and have to weight less than Europeans for examples. The standards are different. For Asians, a BMI that exceeds 23 is unhealthy. It also depends of course on your body type, etc.

Same, although I'm from Germany but in Asia I would be probably considered not only chubby but really fat although I don't feel that bad about myself and am just a little more chubby than my friends, when I see girls/women saying they're fat when they weigh 70 or 60 kg I don't feel good about myself at all. But I understand that it has a lot to do with culture and their society. Still :')

It also has to do with fat distribution. In asian bodies fat tends to show up on the face a lot. So even if you gain 1-2 kg people might be able to tell from just your face. This isn't a problem with other races as 1. Their fat doesn't normally go a lot to their face and 2. If they've only gained enough to show up on the body and not on the face they can cover up by wearing oversized clothes/black etc. Given the fact that weight show's easily on the face + the whole "small faces are beautiful" beauty standard results in people going extremely skinny on their bodies just to keep their face small/thin
I once lost 10 kgs eating healthy and exercising, however I was restricting myself from sweets and fast foods that Although my diet was healthy (3 meals a day, with fruits, oatmeals, protein, veggie, basically very balanced diet), I ended up binge eating for a few months later on which made my weight went back up to my original weight 🤭😢 And so now i’m trying to eat moderately like you did! healthy food, but also not restricting too much.. Desserts and Fast foods are ok! as long as you know the limit! Right now my goal is still to lose 10kgs bc I gained them back when I binged 😭😭 Good luck guys!! Lets have our glow ups together!! 🥺🙏🏻

Pues te hago mas o menos un resumen general, su dieta el principio se basaba en comer casi nada en un día y trabajaba durante 12 horas, perdió sobre unos 10kg pero termino en urgencias por la falta de nutrientes. Ella estaba muy contenta el hecho de haber perdido los 10kg y empezó a comer pensando en que no volvería a ganar peso. Pero no fue lo que paso, tuvo el efecto rebote y gano más peso del que perdió y tomo la decisión de volver a ponerse en dieta. Comió mas sano y se restringió de cualquier tipo de snacks. Le pareció incluso que era divertido la dieta hasta que encontró información sobre el "Cheating Day" que consiste en que puedes comer todo lo que quieras un día a la semana, lo probo y no le fue muy bien, porque el cuerpo le pedía mas y el cheating Day se alargo durante tres días, y en esos 3 días ganó 3kg. Decidió que esa no era la forma pero quería comer lo que deseaba, por lo tanto todos los días comía lo que quería pero en porciones pequeñas, y así en un tiempo empezó a comerlo moderadamente. Perdió sobre unos 15KG en total en el proceso, pero no hacia ejercicio y decidió en empezar a hacer jogging. Llego con éxito a sus 49Kg, pero al final del video nos dice que actualmente esta sobre los 42-41KG y que si queríamos saber que le paso que lo consultemos en su siguiente video. Espero que no he haya enrollado mucho, y espero que te haya servido de ayuda. ^^
I also have causitive utricaria , and i think its because i started dieting a year ago. I still get heat hives, can u please tell me how it got cured. I have to hold back on many things because of it. I like to dance , i can't do it or even mild exercises because i get heat hives. I visited many doctors here in India , but nothing worked out
I used to have the raised wheals/uriticaria when I was a teenager. I think for me, it was either heat related (since I always noticed it in the summer), or it occurred whenever I ate too many fruits and sugar. Try eliminating sugar and see if that works? If it's really bothersome, try using an anti-histamine allergy med (you can get these at the pharmacy over the counter, no prescription needed). Also try staying cool (take cool showers, use the AC or fan indoors, wear loose/breathable clothing). I hope this helps!
I've had this for many years. My weight and my diet has nothing to do with it as it started when I was 120lb. I am now 147lb 4 and a half years later, and it's still there. My doctor prescribed me an anti inflammatory medications called blextin. It keeps me from welting and itching but I am also trying to get under 110lb, and changing my diet. I cut out most carbs, limit meat and fish, and also milk and I still have these reactions. Everyone is different, you may want to ask your dr about blextin though, as it helped me get through the pain and simple tasks that were once uncomfortable.
That’s the sad part. Being of normal and healthy weight is seen as bad. One should only be underweight to be acceptable. All she really needed was to add a bit of excercise and eat more veggies
To other people in Korea, they're beauty standard is different and of course that would affect the mindset of another. Their beauty standard is being slim and thin, they treat her fat when she's not.
To avoid putting more weight and to help with weight loss 1- avoid laying down for few hours AFTER eating. Avoid going in water aswell to protect HEART. 2- avoid snacking in between meals. NO snacks 3- REDUCE fried foods instead of fried ham and eggs- How about boiled/ something grilled? Recipe on youtube for healthy breakfasts. 4- AVOID drinking too much- INSTEAD drink half cup of water half hour BEFORE meals . THEN when it's TIME for lunch- have some water nearby for emergencies. 5- avoid eating desert- it's the NO 1 cause of gaining weight. 6- crisps, cakes, coke- How much do u eat/ drink in a week? 7- AVOID buying fizzy INSTEAD buy 1 healthy food/ fruit/ VEG to replace. 8- sometimes it's better to sleep hungry then to eat with food in your belly. 9- BEFORE breakfast how about stretching for a few mins. And going for a WALK? When was the last time you went for a walk before breakfast? 10- have a photo of yourself when you were NOT overweight- carry it with you when you are shopping, to remind you NOT to AVOID buying fizzy drinks, cakes- 11 - Go to sleep on TIME😊 PLEASE--- because the longer you stay up at night , the more hungry you will get and give yourself a reason to eat????😮 12- if you can grab fast food then you can grab celery, pear, apples, bananas, nuts, grapes etc. ******************************* Reasons WHY some women gain weight * contraception pills * ceserean * giving birth * lack of ferritin/ IRON ( what were the results of your last blood test please?) Which medications are you taking if any? * some pills / medicine are the cause of weight gain *how are you handling stress? - VERY IMPORTANT!!! *- How is your menstrual cycle.? * do you have children if yes how old is youngest please? * do you have the following:::diebetes/ high blood pressure/ lipoma lumps / fibroids/ cysts/ vestoris veins/ ALL of these ARE 10000% REVERSABLE......I know because me and my families are proof from experience.
This comment encourages some really self-sabotaging behavior... avoiding snacking altogether is going to make you want to snack more, because now you're depriving yourself - it's better to choose healthier snacks, like nuts and fruit, than to try and never snack. You shouldn't be going to sleep hungry, period. If you are, that's a sign that you either aren't eating ENOUGH throughout the day or the quality of the food you are eating isn't satiating your body - try adding what you may be missing to your meals (you should be eating carbohydrates, fats, protein, and fiber, so check if you're consistently missing one of these components if you go to sleep hungry. Carbohydrates DOES NOT mean bread, soft drinks, cakes, etc. You want to eat healthy carbs, like in beans, bananas, sweet potatoes, etc.) The worst advice is to tell people to avoid the food they crave entirely. This puts your brain into a food scarcity mode, which IS NOT sustainable long-term unless you're engaging in ED behavior. Learning to eat moderately, like the video says, will help you lose weight long-term and maintain it because you're NOT creating food scarcity. It's okay to eat cake, as long at it's only one slice and not every day! Learn to eat in MODERATION, and to avoid overconsumption. It's better to really look at why you eat how you do, and see what you can do to help curb what causes your eating habits. Do you like to eat a lot of snacks when you're bored? Try finding new hobbies that fulfill you intellectually/mentally, try to exercise more to fulfill you physically, and remember it's okay if you aren't perfect all the time because no one is. I will say that exercising is a great idea, whether or not you plan on losing weight. 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week is recommended for cardiovascular health, and exercise is known to improve and stabilize your mood as well as helping with focus (in some people, if you have a disorder that affects your ability to focus, it may not help!) Sleeping enough, and maintaining a routine, are also very beneficial to your health (not just in a weight loss context) and I definitely agree with that. :)

Its completely okay to have a little more fat than the "average", and its completely okay to be a little skinnier than the "average". Dont be average, be you. YOU are beautiful. Turns out "Fat" is defined differently across the world. 41kg is slightly heavier than my 11 year old niece who is thinner than a lot of her peers. If you were in South Africa, your body at 70kg would have been at its healthiest and said to be 'fit', it's the kind that you can proudly show off.
@@powpaow definitely not healthy, underweight is just as bad as overweight and can even cause infertility. 41kg means a VERY low bmi score even if she was only 4'10 tall and she's probably taller than that

ive been on a diet for about 5 months, i have a long way to go but seeing other people's progress inspires me to carry on. i use the calorie deficit method so i eat what i want but in moderation, my end goal is to lose 100lbs and im nearly half way there Ive offically lost 50lbs another 50 to go

This is to all intents and purposes an eating disorder, to be such there is no need to be excessively underweight or overweight, eating disorders are first of all mental disorders, physical changes are symptoms of them. I cannot give a precise diagnosis because I am not a doctor, but I suffer from eating disorders and I know many people who suffer from it, and by informing myself on the subject and talking to my doctors I understood that an eating disorder is such when: - you see yourself fat when your body is normal - when you are obsessed with food and it is your thoughts when you wake up, throughout the day and when you go to sleep - when you are obsessed with the scale number (she kept track of her weight) - used laxatives as a method of compensation - uncontrolled binges - guilt due to food and weight followed by fasting - walking and burning calories as a way to compensate for feelings of guilt

Is your belly flat and abs visible? If not then the fat are stored there. Many people have skinny body with small arms and legs but they have fat belly which is called skinny fat.

Skinny fat people are usually at 20-25% body fat compares to 10-15% to be lean. Which is 12-18 lbs extra weight from fat.
I hope you and everyone else here will take care of themselves. There is no shortcut to becoming fit, it is simply doing things the right way. You can't purge yourself, you can't push yourself too hard. Be patient, practice healthy eating and exercise habits, and treat yourself well. Results will come. And remember, you don't have to be supermodel thin to be beautiful.
I appreciate her effort so much but I'm not gonna lie that she is underweight, don't you guys say to me like "but weight doesn't always represent your health" cause I already know that, but we have to keep in mind that everything which exagerated wasn't good, and there's a bunch of research too that study and talk about the problem which might be happen for being underweight (and obese too)
Asians are healthier at a lower weight, they have a higher risk of sickness at a smaller bmi or something or atleast thats what i read on webmd cuz i googled like, are kpop models okay and heathy? and thats what i found you seem asian from your pic tho so maybe im just wrong and this is too skinny even for asians
They dont call unhealthy weight ranges unhealthy for nothing. As far as Im concerned being 120+ kgs or 40-kgs is unhealthy. So yeah I do think weight is a indicator of health. We dont get up to 120kgs + living healthy lifestyles.

Agree. In order to loose weight I skipped my healthy meals and wasn't realizing that my body doesn't have that energy anymore. Just few days back I tried to donate blood but had to stop in the middle way because I started feeling nauseous. So it's not about just losing weight by any means.
It's really not all about weight and making their weight as reference. Her weight is around my weight (my weight plays around 45-49kg for years now) and I'm not anywhere near to slim/skinny or even fit! I'm actually surprised to see these videos who end up on my weight. (i tried dieting last year and it worked but after college grad, had a break before working... I eventually gained it back and still gaining this quarantine so started no rice diet again) These results make me look at myself and think, they weigh like me but we are so different 🤔😅 but ofc, I know we have different heights and other factors involved. Maybe their brain and heart are bigger than mine 😅kidding! And yes, what you feel is important. Some may be called "fat" but are fit and healthy. Some may have a proportioned/"fit" body but are unhealthy.
Some people tend to forget that muscles weight more than fat and that the country you live in also matters because of the shape of the earth. That's why your weight will fluctuate depending on where you are

I'm 70kgs right now and my height is 149cm I don't care about my weight much I eat what I want to because I don't post my pictures on any social media cause once built up the courage I was called fat, I really don't go out or meet people I barely have a life I keep telling myself I am beautiful and I'm not much over weight but whenever I go out sometimes I see people so pretty I lose every speck of confidence I feel like I wanna vanish from there. Tbh even if you’re at the perfect weight people will still complain, standards were made by humans and they’re toxic, if you’re not dangerously overweight then hey you do you, chubby people can still look very cute! And being a stick isn’t great as well (as I was 15 kg underweight, I finally start to gain weight after decades of struggling as well with anorexia) if you’re healthy and not in the danger zone and you’re happy, stay that and don’t go after what all the people think is a standard, you are you and you’re unique. I’m 20, 8 months ago I was weighing 148 lbs that’s the most I’ve ever weighed, I managed to lose weight and go back to weighing 127 lbs but recently I have been bouncing my weight between 127-131 lbs I’m a little bit desperate cause I want to move forward and continue to lose weight to get to my ideal weight which is 122lbs
127 must be your bodies natural set point. I recommend calculating your body without any fat at all to see how much you would weigh. Or buy a body composition scale. It will give you an idea of how much fat you could lose and stay in a healthy percentage of fat. Everyone's body is different. For my body in particular I can't go under 107 lbs. That would be my body without any fat at all. Just muscle, bones and organs. So that would be able to put things in perspective on what is a healthy range of weight that you should be in.
@@ravenmadison2206 How tall are you? Because if you're 5'4 or taller, 127-131 is actually a healthy weight range. If you're shorter, it could be that you've hit a plateau.

Congratulations on your weight loss (even though it wasn't in a healthy way at first) , and at least you're happy now with a healthy mindset, that's all that matters! You really inspire me to not just lose weight, but take control and eat healthy foods that will benefit the body, and not harm it :)

Other than your physical health, you should also see a therapist and a nutritionist, it will help you understand yourself more on why you want to lose weight and understand that size doesn’t matter unless it affects your physical health. A nutritionist can give you a more detailed diet plan instead of restricting yourself which can damage your relationship with food.

@@loveelleee there are way to still eat the food you love and lose weight, by making them having less calories but still taste yummy. If you want I'll suggest to get the cook book of Greg Doucette, the book contains many ways of making food with low calories to help with dieting, what's better than still get to eat pizza, ice cream but still lose weight? it's quite pricy tho.

The reasone why u 48 kg and u look like her in 70kg might be " the height difference " + believe me the belly fat take more time to burn ! It really need patience u can try again by the proper plane and mind set.

I used to have an eating disorder too and would binge eat. To me the way I do it now I’d eat anything I want in normal portions and I don’t even have to think about it! I don’t feel the urge to binge or starve anymore, just eat at the right meal times or when you feel hungry! That way you get to enjoy food but in the right, healthy portions I’ve tried eating only healthy foods, no carbs or certain extreme diets but none of them you can do consistently for the rest of your life unlike knowing your portions. Me too. I'm 5 months into recovery and never felt better. I told myself to screw being cold (from being underweight) and sad and stressed because of food. I said screw it and started eating whatever I want and made it my goal to never look at the calories or feel guilty about how much I ate that day. My mentality just completely switched

What might be considered skinny in the west is fat in the east. I’m kinda jealous because I’m way younger than her and I weigh 5x more than her. If you’re trying to lose weight make sure you lose it in a healthy way. ED’s ruin your life. My mom had an ED and now she can’t eat some foods without throwing up for hours because her stomach is so messed up from it. Please lose weight in a healthy way and remember to love your body.

I agree. I had obesity. I weighed 81kg and 168cm. i didn't really care about my weight and just ate whatever i wanted and my family just fed me because they didn't mind my weight. I started getting backpain if I sit without support or walk too long , had very low stamina and even some skin problems because of my weight. When I visited the doctor he said I'm alright and it's because of my weight and it will also increases risks for heart problems. I started dieting and after an year I am now 70kg. I take my time because I just want to be healthy. I gave up many times within this year .I am going to start again tomorrow and my maximum goal is 58 just so I can eat and gain 2 kg after that lol..
아 ㅠㅠ 저는 모태뚱뚱이었어요. 저도 집에서 혼자 먹고, 집 형편이 어려워 맛있는 거 있을 때 많이 먹어야 한다는 생각이 있어 과식 습관도 있었어요. 그렇게 뚱뚱이 그대로 성인이 되었어요. 160 75킬로 될 때까지 친구들이나 부모님은 살로 스트레스를 안 줘서 전 불편함 없이 살았어요. 그렇게 살다가 80이 되니까, 엄마가 살 빼란 말을 하기 시작하셨고, 친구들도 깜짝 놀라더군요. 무엇보다 제 자신이 너무 못나보이고 건강이 너무 안 좋아졌어요. 내장 피부 뼈 모든 게 안 좋아지더라구요ㅠㅠ 그렇게 다이어트 결심을 했어요. 식습관 바꾸려고 하는데 참 쉽지 않네요 ㅠㅠ 효쀼니 님 비포 애프터를 보니 자극이 팍팍 돼요. 다시 힘을 내야겠어요!!

I would suggest 4-5 meals a day, spread it out helps with the hunger and won't make you craving for food. Also what decide if you lose weight is calorie deficit, start counting it.

now 167cm for 61kg is more than a healthy weight. being underweight isn't good for your body, I'm nobody to tell you what to do over the internet but I wouldn't recommend you to diet unless you really need to. diets aren't usually done well unless monitored by a professional and it can cause trauma to your body if not done well. 51kg for you would be very very underweight and cause damage to your body overtime :/

I'm the same, I'm about that weight, but I'm 10cm shorter than you. I totally get you wanting to lose weight and I want to as well, and that weight range is my goal as well. I don't like it when people say 'oh, you shouldn't lose weight' or 'your perfect as you are', because it's not always about what other people think. I want to lose weight to feel good. But I do understand making sure that weight lose is a slow, gradual thing that is done in a careful and very conscious way. So if you want to lose weight, not weight is unattainable, but I think that being conscious and careful about our diet is important too.

우연히 지나가다 보고 댓글 남겨요. 다이어트도 좋지만 모든 인간은 나이가 들며 근 감소증이라는 증상을 겪게 됩니다. 1살 먹을때마다 근육이 감소한다는 이야기 입니다. 다이어트 전이나 후나 근육량이 현저히 적은데 꾸준한 운동으로 근육량을 키우셔야 돼요. 몸무게는 중요한게 아닙니다. 키가 163이면 근육으로 무게를 늘려서 60키로 까지는 만들어야 돼요. 안그러면 나중에 늙어서 관절을 바쳐줄 근육도 없고 골다공증 올 확률도 높아져 누워 지내야 합니다. 운동 하시면 골밀도가 증가하기 때문에 뼈랑 근육이 같이 강해져요. 위에 말씀 드렸다싶이 몸무게보다 눈바디를 더 보셔야해요. 근육이 증가한다고 더 살쪄 보일거라 생각하실수도 있는데 오히려 더 날씬해 보일겁니다. 글이 길어져 중구난방인데 결론은 무조건 운동 하셔야됩니다!

Also, weight training can be beneficial as the muscle will burn calories after the training is done to repair itself. It is important to eat protein. With weight training it might take a bit longer to see results on the scale, as muscle is heavier than fat, but you will be leaner and more toned than if you simply lose fat. I did that while eating healthy and lost around 10 kg. Unfortunately I gained some of it back after i tore my ACL, but I am back on it now, so hopefully i can lose the extra weight while also growing stronger to support my knee.

덧붙여 다이어트를 결심하시는분들 위해, 몇마디 남기자면 1. 운동은 선택이 아닌 필수입니다. 물론 선천적인 골격근량이 높은편이라면 운동이 필수는 아니지만 높았다면 다이어트를 할필요가 없었겠죠? 2. 체중은 숫자일뿐이고 체지방률 감소를 보셔야합니다. 이쁜 몸일 수록 체지방률이 낮고 표준 골격근량에 가깝습니다. 이건 남녀 모두 해당됩니다. 3. 다이어트는 유지가 시작입니다. 물론 유지할 목표치까지 도달하는것 역시 고되지만 다이어트는 평생한다는 말이 있고, 원하는 음식 먹고싶으면 운동을 병행하거나 식사량을 조절해야하는겁니다. 4. 영상에 언급된것처럼 간식은 정말정말 비추입니다. 단, 간헐적 단식 등 공복을 16시간이상 유지할 경우 나머지8시간내에 식사 사이 간식은 어느정도 권장드릴수는 있지만 대부분의 간식은 당질이 많아 간헐적단식이어도 비권장하는 부분입니다. 5. 마지막으로 다이어트는 굶는것, 단기적 등의 단어가 포함된 다이어트는 아주 소수에게만 권장드리는 방법입니다. 그 소수는 대회 등의 참가하는 아주 드문 케이스입니다. 단기간에 많은살을 뺄시 몸이 적응을 하지못해 흔히 튼살이 생길 수도 있고, 요요도 빠르게 올 수 있고, 유지기간동안 우울증 역시 올 수 있습니다.

My mom told me the same! She once lost 5kg by just not eating snacks and going for a walk everyday! I also lost 5kg with this method! I only ate fruits when I craved for snacks or sugar and I did take a walk for 1 hour a day and in one week I just lost a lot and I was happy!

I was 13 years old when I started to lose weight. The fact is that my parents loved to feed me something harmful: pancakes, dumplings with sour cream and sugar, sweets, chips ... I wanted to lose weight again. I fell in love with a guy who was below me. I wanted to look fragile ... I lost 20 kg in 6 months and became anorexic (height 177 weight 41). My hair was falling and my nails were breaking! My face was scary, but my body ... I don't even want to remember ... I was in the 11th grade - this is the time when everyone is preparing for the State exam. I had a choice: gain weight and graduate from school, or leave. I chose health. They fed me very hard. I gained 20 kg in 1.5 months! I felt terrible ... I got depression and bulimia. A year later, I already weighed 82 kg. Needless to say, I did not fit into any of my things and felt ugly? Now I have been losing weight for 4 months. I eat a lot of proteins and train, the result is - minus 10 kg. I became more confident and stronger. My experience will be a lifelong lesson for me. You need to love yourself and your body!

@@흔대-l1i 식단은 따로 정해두진 않았구요. 맵거나 짜거나 지방이 넘 많거나 탄수화물 범벅인 음식들은 최대한 자제하려고 노력했어요! 몸에 염증수치 많이 올리는 음식이라서 ㅠㅠ 그럴때 몸이 더 쉽게 반응하더라구요.. 간지러워서 긁기만해도 모기물린거처럼 부어가지고 ㅠㅠ
위 음식들을 못참을거 같을때 한두입정도 조금씩만 먹었어요

I'm gonna be honest here, this is the first video of someone from Korea ( or an Asian country in general where beauty standards are very different from where I am and a bit more strict ) that talks about dieting and losing weight that didn't make me sad all the way to the end. I love how you learned from your mistakes like restricting yourself from certain foods so much that you end up binge eating, and instead found a balance and lost weight in a healthy manner. I think the body knows when it's starving so that's where the binge eating comes from...I think it's possible to be slim or thin without constant continued starvation and without obsession.
@victoria.xseven7913 some bodies run heavier than others, so some people's ideal healthy weight doesn't look slim, which is perfectly fine too.

Slim and thin can be healthy or unhealthy, same as other body shapes can be healthy or unhealthy.
The person themselves would know if they are healthy or unhealthy, which is probably why I said "the body knows when it's starving" and I believe this can apply to people of all body types if a person would eat junk food or "constant diet" or oscillating between, it could create binge eating....starving for nutrition!

Starving isn’t a way and not eating healthy either the main thing is you gotta do cardio and exercise cause when I was little I was skinny and when I grew more I grew fat and I had a stomach and now my mom introduces me into working out and I started looking slimmer and I finally lost my stomach and losing my inner thigh fat and knee fat but out it all it’s worth exercising just put in two years of exercise hard and you get the body you’ll want it won’t make you wider it will slim you you just gotta research what kind of weights to use and what to do to slim your body cause my mom motors out before and she told me to do this and now I have a curvy body 👍👍
may i know what's your exercise routine and diet looks like? I know everyone has different ways on how to do that, but I'm curious and impressed on how you've done it in two years.
Cardio is not an ideal way to work out all the time. Although important, please make sure your diet and exercise is balanced.
I am exercising for 10 years and still not my dream body. Good Diet and relationship with food are also crucial.

This is similar to my experience! I was always the fat kid and teen. I had alot of starve-binge phases where I lost weight and then regained it again. Eventually I stopped and decided to just eat and not care anymore. After a few years I stepped on a scale and it showed the highest number I have ever seen (92kg/202lbs) and this number told me that I was officially obese now. I wanted to cry. But it also gave me the last push to start a weight loss journey. I learned from my past mistakes and decided to do it differently this time. I don't exercise because I hate it and I'm lazy. I love going on walks though. All I do is eat in a 500 calorie deficit. I fill my calorie intake with whatever foods I want. Some days are very unhealthy where I only eat sweets but still have a 500 calorie deficit. It's so easy. I can eat whatever I want it's just... less. And more controlled. At first it was difficult because my stomach was stretched out and needed huge amounts of food to be filled. Now it has adjusted and I can actually eat normal sized portions without feeling empty. I also stopped a bad habit of overeating until my stomach hurt. I started around 6 months ago and am now 78kg/171lbs. It's slow but very maintainable (I lose ~2kg/4.4lbs per month). I could eat like this forever. I'm still overweight but I know if I continue like this I will eventually get to a healthy weight.

My current TDEE (this is the energy your body needs to neither gain nor lose weight) is around 1800-2000 cals without exercise so I usually eat around 1200-1500 cals. This means I'm in a deficit of ~500 cals everyday and 3500 in a week. You need to be in a deficit of 7500 cals (through diet or/and exercise) to lose 1 kg/2lbs. So theoretically I'm losing 2kg/4.4lbs per month. This obviously varies a bit, sometimes it's a bit less and sometimes a bit more. Bodies aren't machines

Its so weird how the Asian standard for Fat, is the American "low normal" weight. Like I use to use high restrictive diets just to get to Her "fat".
It also has to do with the ethnicity too. Asians are more at risk of health problems and have to weight less than Europeans for examples. The standards are different. For Asians, a BMI that exceeds 23 is unhealthy. It also depends of course on your body type, etc.

Same, although I'm from Germany but in Asia I would be probably considered not only chubby but really fat although I don't feel that bad about myself and am just a little more chubby than my friends, when I see girls/women saying they're fat when they weigh 70 or 60 kg I don't feel good about myself at all. It also has to do with fat distribution. In asian bodies fat tends to show up on the face a lot. So even if you gain 1-2 kg people might be able to tell from just your face. This isn't a problem with other races as 1. Their fat doesn't normally go a lot to their face and 2. If they've only gained enough to show up on the body and not on the face they can cover up by wearing oversized clothes/black etc. Given the fact that weight show's easily on the face + the whole "small faces are beautiful" beauty standard results in people going extremely skinny on their bodies just to keep their face small/thin

I once lost 10 kgs eating healthy and exercising, however I was restricting myself from sweets and fast foods that Although my diet was healthy (3 meals a day, with fruits, oatmeals, protein, veggie, basically very balanced diet),
I ended up binge eating for a few months later on which made my weight went back up to my original weight 🤭😢
And so now i’m trying to eat moderately like you did! healthy food, but also not restricting too much.. Desserts and Fast foods are ok! as long as you know the limit! Right now my goal is still to lose 10kgs bc I gained them back when I binged 😭😭

Hola! Pues te hago mas o menos un resumen general, su dieta el principio se basaba en comer casi nada en un día y trabajaba durante 12 horas, perdió sobre unos 10kg pero termino en urgencias por la falta de nutrientes. Ella estaba muy contenta el hecho de haber perdido los 10kg y empezó a comer pensando en que no volvería a ganar peso. Pero no fue lo que paso, tuvo el efecto rebote y gano más peso del que perdió y tomo la decisión de volver a ponerse en dieta. Comió mas sano y se restringió de cualquier tipo de snacks. Le pareció incluso que era divertido la dieta hasta que encontró información sobre el "Cheating Day" que consiste en que puedes comer todo lo que quieras un día a la semana, lo probo y no le fue muy bien, porque el cuerpo le pedía mas y el cheating Day se alargo durante tres días, y en esos 3 días ganó 3kg. Decidió que esa no era la forma pero quería comer lo que deseaba, por lo tanto todos los días comía lo que quería pero en porciones pequeñas, y así en un tiempo empezó a comerlo moderadamente. Perdió sobre unos 15KG en total en el proceso, pero no hacia ejercicio y decidió en empezar a hacer jogging. Llego con éxito a sus 49Kg, pero al final del video nos dice que actualmente esta sobre los 42-41KG y que si queríamos saber que le paso que lo consultemos en su siguiente video. Espero que no he haya enrollado mucho, y espero que te haya servido de ayuda. ^^

I also have causitive utricaria , and i think its because i started dieting a year ago. I still get heat hives, can u please tell me how it got cured. I have to hold back on many things because of it. I like to dance , i can't do it or even mild exercises because i get heat hives. I visited many doctors here in India , but nothing worked out

I used to have the raised wheals/uriticaria when I was a teenager. I think for me, it was either heat related (since I always noticed it in the summer), or it occurred whenever I ate too many fruits and sugar. Try eliminating sugar and see if that works? If it's really bothersome, try using an anti-histamine allergy med (you can get these at the pharmacy over the counter, no prescription needed). Also try staying cool (take cool showers, use the AC or fan indoors, wear loose/breathable clothing). I hope this helps!
I've had this for many years. My weight and my diet has nothing to do with it as it started when I was 120lb. I am now 147lb 4 and a half years later, and it's still there. My doctor prescribed me an anti inflammatory medications called blextin. It keeps me from welting and itching but I am also trying to get under 110lb, and changing my diet. I cut out most carbs, limit meat and fish, and also milk and I still have these reactions. Everyone is different, you may want to ask your dr about blextin though, as it helped me get through the pain and simple tasks that were once uncomfortable.
She wasn't even fat to begin with, I hope she's healthy and I'm still proud of her progress since she wants it
That’s the sad part. Being of normal and healthy weight is seen as bad. One should only be underweight to be acceptable. All she really needed was to add a bit of excercise and eat more veggies

To other people in Korea, they're beauty standard is different and of course that would affect the mindset of another. Their beauty standard is being slim and thin, they treat her fat when she's not.
To avoid putting more weight and to help with weight loss
1- avoid laying down for few hours AFTER eating. Avoid going in water aswell to protect HEART.
2- avoid snacking in between meals. NO snacks
3- REDUCE fried foods instead of fried ham and eggs- How about boiled/ something grilled? Recipe on youtube for healthy breakfasts.
4- AVOID drinking too much- INSTEAD drink half cup of water half hour BEFORE meals . THEN when it's TIME for lunch- have some water nearby for emergencies.
5- avoid eating desert- it's the NO 1 cause of gaining weight.
6- crisps, cakes, coke- How much do u eat/ drink in a week?
7- AVOID buying fizzy INSTEAD buy 1 healthy food/ fruit/ VEG to replace.
8- sometimes it's better to sleep hungry then to eat with food in your belly.
9- BEFORE breakfast how about stretching for a few mins. And going for a WALK?
When was the last time you went for a walk before breakfast?
10- have a photo of yourself when you were NOT overweight- carry it with you when you are shopping, to remind you NOT to AVOID buying fizzy drinks, cakes-
11 - Go to sleep on TIME😊 PLEASE--- because the longer you stay up at night , the more hungry you will get and give yourself a reason to eat????😮
12- if you can grab fast food then you can grab celery, pear, apples, bananas, nuts, grapes etc.

This comment encourages some really self-sabotaging behavior... avoiding snacking altogether is going to make you want to snack more, because now you're depriving yourself - it's better to choose healthier snacks, like nuts and fruit, than to try and never snack. You shouldn't be going to sleep hungry, period. If you are, that's a sign that you either aren't eating ENOUGH throughout the day or the quality of the food you are eating isn't satiating your body - try adding what you may be missing to your meals (you should be eating carbohydrates, fats, protein, and fiber, so check if you're consistently missing one of these components if you go to sleep hungry. Carbohydrates DOES NOT mean bread, soft drinks, cakes, etc. You want to eat healthy carbs, like in beans, bananas, sweet potatoes, etc.)
The worst advice is to tell people to avoid the food they crave entirely. This puts your brain into a food scarcity mode, which IS NOT sustainable long-term unless you're engaging in ED behavior. Learning to eat moderately, like the video says, will help you lose weight long-term and maintain it because you're NOT creating food scarcity. It's okay to eat cake, as long at it's only one slice and not every day! Learn to eat in MODERATION, and to avoid overconsumption. It's better to really look at why you eat how you do, and see what you can do to help curb what causes your eating habits. Do you like to eat a lot of snacks when you're bored? Try finding new hobbies that fulfill you intellectually/mentally, try to exercise more to fulfill you physically, and remember it's okay if you aren't perfect all the time because no one is.
I will say that exercising is a great idea, whether or not you plan on losing weight. 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week is recommended for cardiovascular health, and exercise is known to improve and stabilize your mood as well as helping with focus (in some people, if you have a disorder that affects your ability to focus, it may not help!) Sleeping enough, and maintaining a routine, are also very beneficial to your health (not just in a weight loss context) and I definitely agree with that. :)
To all the young people out there, you are still growing. Your body is still growing and developing. Its completely okay to have a little more fat than the "average", and its completely okay to be a little skinnier than the "average". Dont be average, be you. YOU are beautiful. Beauty isn't just being skinny, or having a big butt, no. True beauty is taking care of your mind, body, and soul. Love yourself, and be confident. Confidence is one of the most attractive and empowering feelings. It makes all the difference. Stay healthy, live happily, and love yourself and others. This the key to TRUE beauty. Turns out "Fat" is defined differently across the world. 41kg is slightly heavier than my 11 year old niece who is thinner than a lot of her peers. If you were in South Africa, your body at 70kg would have been at its healthiest and said to be 'fit', it's the kind that you can proudly show off.

I cannot give a precise diagnosis because I am not a doctor, but I suffer from eating disorders and I know many people who suffer from it, and by informing myself on the subject and talking to my doctors I understood that an eating disorder is such when:
- you see yourself fat when your body is normal
- when you are obsessed with food and it is your thoughts when you wake up, throughout the day and when you go to sleep
- when you are obsessed with the scale number (she kept track of her weight)
- used laxatives as a method of compensation
- uncontrolled binges
- guilt due to food and weight followed by fasting
- walking and burning calories as a way to compensate for feelings of guilt

Is your belly flat and abs visible? If not then the fat are stored there. Many people have skinny body with small arms and legs but they have fat belly which is called skinny fat.

That’s actually very healthy!! If you’re small for your weight it means you’re actually quite strong and have lots of muscle :)
I hope you and everyone else here will take care of themselves. There is no shortcut to becoming fit, it is simply doing things the right way. You can't purge yourself, you can't push yourself too hard. Be patient, practice healthy eating and exercise habits, and treat yourself well. Results will come. And remember, you don't have to be supermodel thin to be beautiful.
I appreciate her effort so much but I'm not gonna lie that she is underweight, don't you guys say to me like "but weight doesn't always represent your health" cause I already know that, but we have to keep in mind that everything which exagerated wasn't good, and there's a bunch of research too that study and talk about the problem which might be happen for being underweight (and obese too)
she might be short, and 90 lbs is okay. my mom's 4'8" and if she were to weigh 115lbs she'd be underweight. asians just tend to be shorter

Agree. In order to loose weight I skipped my healthy meals and wasn't realizing that my body doesn't have that energy anymore. Just few days back I tried to donate blood but had to stop in the middle way because I started feeling nauseous. So it's not about just losing weight by any means.
It's really not all about weight and making their weight as reference. Her weight is around my weight (my weight plays around 45-49kg for years now) and I'm not anywhere near to slim/skinny or even fit! I'm actually surprised to see these videos who end up on my weight.
(i tried dieting last year and it worked but after college grad, had a break before working... I eventually gained it back and still gaining this quarantine so started no rice diet again)
These results make me look at myself and think, they weigh like me but we are so different 🤔😅 but ofc, I know we have different heights and other factors involved. Maybe their brain and heart are bigger than mine 😅kidding!
And yes, what you feel is important. Some may be called "fat" but are fit and healthy. Some may have a proportioned/"fit" body but are unhealthy.
Some people tend to forget that muscles weight more than fat and that the country you live in also matters because of the shape of the earth. That's why your weight will fluctuate depending on where you are

I’m 20, 8 months ago I was weighing 148 lbs that’s the most I’ve ever weighed, I managed to lose weight and go back to weighing 127 lbs but recently I have been bouncing my weight between 127-131 lbs I’m a little bit desperate cause I want to move forward and continue to lose weight to get to my ideal weight which is 122lbs
127 must be your bodies natural set point. I recommend calculating your body without any fat at all to see how much you would weigh. Or buy a body composition scale. It will give you an idea of how much fat you could lose and stay in a healthy percentage of fat. Everyone's body is different. For my body in particular I can't go under 107 lbs. That would be my body without any fat at all. Just muscle, bones and organs. So that would be able to put things in perspective on what is a healthy range of weight that you should be in.

Other than your physical health, you should also see a therapist and a nutritionist, it will help you understand yourself more on why you want to lose weight and understand that size doesn’t matter unless it affects your physical health. A nutritionist can give you a more detailed diet plan instead of restricting yourself which can damage your relationship with food.
There is no nutritionist around me.It is difficult to meet a nutritionist. So I succeeded in dieting on my own. Thank you for your comment. 😍

@@loveelleee there are way to still eat the food you love and lose weight, by making them having less calories but still taste yummy. If you want I'll suggest to get the cook book of Greg Doucette, the book contains many ways of making food with low calories to help with dieting, what's better than still get to eat pizza, ice cream but still lose weight? it's quite pricy tho.
just saying: guys, skinny doesnt always equal healthy. and that is what matters. do your research first, and always remember that you're beautiful JUST the way you are. if you are looking/trying to get a change in your body, make *sure* you do it for your *self* and not for someone else or because of someone else. take care of your body. it houses many, many organs in your body. :))

The reasone why u 48 kg and u look like her in 70kg might be " the height difference " + believe me the belly fat take more time to burn ! It really need patience u can try again by the proper plane and mind set.

I used to have an eating disorder too and would binge eat. To me the way I do it now I’d eat anything I want in normal portions and I don’t even have to think about it! I don’t feel the urge to binge or starve anymore, just eat at the right meal times or when you feel hungry!
That way you get to enjoy food but in the right, healthy portions
I’ve tried eating only healthy foods, no carbs or certain extreme diets but none of them you can do consistently for the rest of your life unlike knowing your portions. You got this
Me too. I'm 5 months into recovery and never felt better. I told myself to screw being cold (from being underweight) and sad and stressed because of food. I said screw it and started eating whatever I want and made it my goal to never look at the calories or feel guilty about how much I ate that day. My mentality just completely switched

Guys stop saying “she wasn’t even fat before” she is sharing her story and that’s a bit disrespectful. Beauty standards are different around the world. What might be considered skinny in the west is fat in the east. I’m kinda jealous because I’m way younger than her and I weigh 5x more than her. If you’re trying to lose weight make sure you lose it in a healthy way. ED’s ruin your life. I agree. I had obesity. I weighed 81kg and 168cm. i didn't really care about my weight and just ate whatever i wanted and my family just fed me because they didn't mind my weight. I started getting backpain if I sit without support or walk too long , had very low stamina and even some skin problems because of my weight. When I visited the doctor he said I'm alright and it's because of my weight and it will also increases risks for heart problems. I started dieting and after an year I am now 70kg. I take my time because I just want to be healthy. I gave up many times within this year .I am going to start again tomorrow and my maximum goal is 58 just so I can eat and gain 2 kg after that lol..
아 ㅠㅠ 저는 모태뚱뚱이었어요.
저도 집에서 혼자 먹고, 집 형편이 어려워 맛있는 거 있을 때 많이 먹어야 한다는 생각이 있어 과식 습관도 있었어요.
그렇게 뚱뚱이 그대로 성인이 되었어요.
160 75킬로 될 때까지 친구들이나 부모님은 살로 스트레스를 안 줘서 전 불편함 없이 살았어요.
그렇게 살다가 80이 되니까, 엄마가 살 빼란 말을 하기 시작하셨고, 친구들도 깜짝 놀라더군요.
무엇보다 제 자신이 너무 못나보이고 건강이 너무 안 좋아졌어요.
내장 피부 뼈 모든 게 안 좋아지더라구요ㅠㅠ
그렇게 다이어트 결심을 했어요.

I would suggest 4-5 meals a day, spread it out helps with the hunger and won't make you craving for food.
Also what decide if you lose weight is calorie deficit, start counting it.

When she first starts dieting she hv almost the same weight with me! I'm 61kg and 166.7cm. Now I want to try diet too...but my mom always cook and even now my dad always said I should eat more... 😆 I want to achieve like 50-52kg but it's really hard 😂
now 167cm for 61kg is more than a healthy weight. being underweight isn't good for your body, I'm nobody to tell you what to do over the internet but I wouldn't recommend you to diet unless you really need to. diets aren't usually done well unless monitored by a professional and it can cause trauma to your body if not done well. 51kg for you would be very very underweight and cause damage to your body overtime :/

I'm the same, I'm about that weight, but I'm 10cm shorter than you. I totally get you wanting to lose weight and I want to as well, and that weight range is my goal as well. I don't like it when people say 'oh, you shouldn't lose weight' or 'your perfect as you are', because it's not always about what other people think. I want to lose weight to feel good. But I do understand making sure that weight lose is a slow, gradual thing that is done in a careful and very conscious way. So if you want to lose weight, not weight is unattainable, but I think that being conscious and careful about our diet is important too.

우연히 지나가다 보고 댓글 남겨요. 다이어트도 좋지만 모든 인간은 나이가 들며 근 감소증이라는 증상을 겪게 됩니다. 1살 먹을때마다 근육이 감소한다는 이야기 입니다. 다이어트 전이나 후나 근육량이 현저히 적은데 꾸준한 운동으로 근육량을 키우셔야 돼요. 몸무게는 중요한게 아닙니다. 키가 163이면 근육으로 무게를 늘려서 60키로 까지는 만들어야 돼요. 안그러면 나중에 늙어서 관절을 바쳐줄 근육도 없고 골다공증 올 확률도 높아져 누워 지내야 합니다. 운동 하시면 골밀도가 증가하기 때문에 뼈랑 근육이 같이 강해져요. 위에 말씀 드렸다싶이 몸무게보다 눈바디를 더 보셔야해요. 근육이 증가한다고 더 살쪄 보일거라 생각하실수도 있는데 오히려 더 날씬해 보일겁니다. 글이 길어져 중구난방인데 결론은 무조건 운동 하셔야됩니다!

Also, weight training can be beneficial as the muscle will burn calories after the training is done to repair itself. It is important to eat protein. With weight training it might take a bit longer to see results on the scale, as muscle is heavier than fat, but you will be leaner and more toned than if you simply lose fat. I did that while eating healthy and lost around 10 kg. Unfortunately I gained some of it back after i tore my ACL, but I am back on it now, so hopefully i can lose the extra weight while also growing stronger to support my knee.

치팅데이는 평소에 닭가슴살 하나먹던걸 두개 먹는날이다.
덧붙여 다이어트를 결심하시는분들 위해, 몇마디 남기자면
1. 운동은 선택이 아닌 필수입니다.
물론 선천적인 골격근량이 높은편이라면 운동이 필수는 아니지만 높았다면 다이어트를 할필요가 없었겠죠?
2. 체중은 숫자일뿐이고 체지방률 감소를 보셔야합니다. 이쁜 몸일 수록 체지방률이 낮고 표준 골격근량에 가깝습니다. 이건 남녀 모두 해당됩니다.
3. 다이어트는 유지가 시작입니다. 물론 유지할 목표치까지 도달하는것 역시 고되지만 다이어트는 평생한다는 말이 있고, 원하는 음식 먹고싶으면 운동을 병행하거나 식사량을 조절해야하는겁니다.
4. 영상에 언급된것처럼 간식은 정말정말 비추입니다. 단, 간헐적 단식 등 공복을 16시간이상 유지할 경우 나머지8시간내에 식사 사이 간식은 어느정도 권장드릴수는 있지만 대부분의 간식은 당질이 많아 간헐적단식이어도 비권장하는 부분입니다.
5. 마지막으로 다이어트는 굶는것, 단기적 등의 단어가 포함된 다이어트는 아주 소수에게만 권장드리는 방법입니다. 그 소수는 대회 등의 참가하는 아주 드문 케이스입니다. 단기간에 많은살을 뺄시 몸이 적응을 하지못해 흔히 튼살이 생길 수도 있고, 요요도 빠르게 올 수 있고, 유지기간동안 우울증 역시 올 수 있습니다.

My mom told me the same! She once lost 5kg by just not eating snacks and going for a walk everyday! I also lost 5kg with this method! I only ate fruits when I craved for snacks or sugar and I did take a walk for 1 hour a day and in one week I just lost a lot and I was happy!

Now I have been losing weight for 4 months. I eat a lot of proteins and train, the result is - minus 10 kg. I became more confident and stronger.
My experience will be a lifelong lesson for me.
