As an Orlando Uber/Lyft Driver who hasn’t been to WDW since pre COVID your videos give me extremely valuable information that I’m constantly sharing with guests while toting them around the parks. I thank you so much for this and I’m sure you may have gotten a subscriber from a few of my rides.
Aww I love that!
The pictures/graphics/video clips you guys use never get old. Rides resorts snacks and scenery... part of the reason I watch
Ive watched DFB guide since I found out I was going on my 7th grade school Disney Trip. Now im watching this as I plan my Senior Trip to Disney. I cant explain how much you guys have helped and will always be a majof part of my childhood. Thank you ❤

I have a notebook for these videos 😂 . It’s like a class . If I don’t take notes I zone out your voice is so relaxing 😊
I totally take notes and I've never even been to disneyworld but some day I'll need these 😂
I wish you could post it was 😂
Headed to Caribbean for the Mothers Day and Coronado Springs for the Father Day weekends 🎊 Can’t wait. Thanks for all these great tips!
It's like AJ KNOWS I'm leaving for WDW in 2.5 months... THANKS DFB TEAM!!
You're welcome!

@@DFBGuideHave you done a video on food at the Aulani Resort? I’ve seen channels with videos on it but they didn’t review all of the food.
Thank you for always acknowledging the very human experiences folks go through! This is such a compassionate channel ♥
Sometimes I worry that we're getting a little into TMI territory, but I always stick with what I wish someone would have told me!
@@DFBGuideit’s not TMI in my opinion, it’s helping with realistic expectations. So thanks!❤
I’m gonna be honest - gluten is an easy allergy at Disney. They need to fix the soy allergy issue as the only places that do not have cross contamination issues are signature dining (usually $40+). Additionally, they tend to coat food in soybean oil because it’s cheap.
Yes! I am celiac with a soybean and shellfish allergy. Eating anywhere is hard. Disney used to be an easy food vacation destination.
We leave for Disney Saturday. 🎉 These tips will be helpful!
I’m leaving Wednesday
We leave this Sunday!
i’m leaving for disney on sunday !!!
Yay I’m going for the first time in April! With a 1 and 7 year old. 😬😅
You'll have a blast! Just take it slow and make sure you work in plenty of rest time.
Disney Springs parking garages are the BEST!! I wish all airports had the same technology in their parking garages
I have zero plans to return to Disney this year, but I'm watching the video nonetheless! I'm the Disney expert among my friends and family, haha.
Doing a Week long durring may the 4th cant wait less than 90 days!!!!
I'll be in FLORIDA 🌴🌞🏝 too at that time
We will be on Disney property then too!
Us also
Star Wars Day.
These video are so relaxing! I might be going to Disney World after my GCSE's I can't wait!! I love planning trips so I always listen to your videos and think of my dream trip, and now I might get it!!
Yay! Good luck on the GCSEs!
@DFBGuide Tysm! You and your team are so sweet. I love your videos!
So excited going to Epcot in a week!!!! Haven’t gone since I was little and don’t remember. Seriously can’t wait been watching your guys videos for over 2 years!
I'm so excited FOR YOU!
I constantly stay at pump Century every time I go and I’m always able to stay past park hours I have so much fun.
Pump? Damn spell check eh? ;-)
Interesting how do you do it?! Do you just stay and not leave the park at closing?
@@amberrhodesofficial I’d also like to know how Disney knows who gets to stay - wristbands?
Personally I love the longer video thank you .. I will be doing the DCP in April though 🤞🏼
Going for my first time with my family, total of four of us. We have been to Disneyland many of times but our first time to Disney world in July. Can’t wait
Thank you, DFBGuide, for always being our go-to source for the latest and greatest Disney World tips! Your dedication to providing valuable insights and insider knowledge is truly unmatched. With so much to see and do at Disney World, having these tips at our fingertips is like having a magic wand to enhance our vacation experience.
We just got back yesterday. Had an amazing time. We didn’t plan on it but we did open to close and it was great
13:30 - twice in a day? If you REALLY "splurge" you can do it THREE times in a day! 7 AM Virtual, 1 I.L.L. and 6 PM Virtual for Guests staying at a Deluxe Resort!! 3 for the WIN!!!
GO GO GO!
Are the virtual ones available for all guests or just people staying on property?
@@shaunagoodridge2432 Virtual queues are "enterable" at 7 AM by guests staying on property. This usually means all queue spots are gone for guests staying offsite by the time the park opens unless you're in a low season. 1 PM is enterable by anyone so long as you're in the park. 6 PM is usable ONLY by Disney Deluxe resort guests.
DFB is a reliable resource for all our WDW trips! We leave in 11 days!
I am leaving on Saturday and have been watching everything that AJ and team puts out so I am up to date! You spend a bit of money when you take this trip, so make sure you know the ins and outs so you get the best out of your trip!
Hey AJ! My family and i have been trying to plan a trip since early 2020 (You can see why it got delayed), but we are finally going in 5 days. I have been watching your channel since the start and I dont think i wouldve ever go if I never watched these videos!
Went for the first time last year Christmas week and I already booked another trip for December but earlier to beat the holiday crowd.
I go the 1st week of December every year. Thanksgiving crowds gone. Christmas crowds haven’t arrived.
Good plan!
I'm so glad that I found this channel AND that the tips are honest, useful, and easy to understand. Is there a tip/guide video for those of us who love the parks for the rides and attractions but have no interest in shows? I want to know how parades and firework and nighttime shows affect the wait times for attractions (from Tron to Teacups!)
Thank you! I'm glad the channel is helpful! Basically, during the fireworks, nighttime shows, and parades, the ride lines will dip -- especially the fireworks!
You blink… And Tron is over with.. already. 😊
I’m leaving for Disney world tomorrow and I cannot wait ❤️
here within the first hour of this dropping 🥰 loveee dfb
Thank you for this updated list of tips. Very helpful
50 new tips for vacation sounds exhausting, lol! Glad your team does it!
Thanks for the continued updates! We love you guys ❤
Ps: AJ, we are former Florida residents in DFW now, too!
Thank you!! Welcome to DFW!!
LOVE THIS VIDEOS KEEP THEM COMING
Informative tips! 🌟
The adaptive seats on Tron make me so happy. When I went to Universal in 2019 I was too fat to ride Hagrid's, and seeing the cycle seats made me so nervous. Universal doesn't have adaptive seating so I was just out of luck. It's such a huge weight off (lol) to know that if my shape can't contort onto the cycle, I can still ride! (So far I've been fine on Flight of Passage, but I do have to pull my leg up a bit instead of all the way forward so the calf restraint can close)
I really enjoy your videos! You were evidently born for this! FYI we are magic key holders at Disneyland (Inspire key) so my son would love to be your point person if you need him 😊😊
Thanks for this information
I can’t wait for my Disney trip in July! We are going for my sisters bachelorette and it will be my cousins first time in Disney (she is 27!) I have been watching DFB videos since 2018 and I cannot thank them enough for the amount of information they give cause it has saved my family already!
Yay! I'm so happy we've been able to help! Have a great trip!
AJ, We cannot get enough of your videos!! My wife and I will be headed to Disney World in May for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Doing it right by staying in a Deluxe resort at Boardwalk Villas. Is there a chance we will run into you during our trip?
Hi, AJ! I regularly listen to your UA-cam videos while working around my house. Thanks for making housework so much more fun! I heard you mention prime rib sliders at Crew's Cup Lounge during your 50 New Disney World Tips for 2024 video. After hearing you rave about them in a video a long time ago, I had the opportunity to try them. You were right. They were absolutely AHHHHHH-MAZING! Ever since Crew's Cup reopened after the extended pandemic closure, I have been watching the online menu for the return of this favorite item. No luck. Very sadly, they haven't been listed. This morning I almost got whiplash when you mentioned them again. Could it be true? Are they back? Are they a secret menu item? Are they available for a limited-time only (in which case I NEED to get back there!)????? Any info on their availability would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for all you do!
Disney if you’re reading this could you please add “coffee near me” to your app??☕️
Ive been twice as an adult and i never prepare physically bwfore gand but i still manage to do most rides. But im rushing. This time im going solo and ENJOYING it
Last week our server at Shiki Sai said the prize was a fan while explaining the punch card and how it works.

also with rides that go down, like what happen to me, they shut down Hollywood studios early for a party, the rise of the resistance broke down half way through the ride. they gave us a lightning pass, even though the park was closed, for next day. oh but we were not going to Hollywood studios the rest of our trip we had to go to guest relations and get our free lightning lane pass to set in epcot (guardians of the galaxy of course) and what time its set to. glad that happen because that was my second time in the trip going on the ride. the best in Disney world.
I clicked the link in the description to see about the free dining plan and i do not see that promotion. i already made my reservations so it may be too late anyways. Love your videos thank you for always having wonderful insight and information! we always go to the parks so informed!
Thank you for this updated list of tips. Very helpful 👍
Fyi that countdown clock on the app is off by a day because it doesn't account for February 29th. Make sure you add a day to that clock.
Have you done a resort restaurants ranked video?
It's like they know my birthday trip is in 2 days...
We're always watching...LOL
0:46 I don’t know if it’s because I am a passholder, but, four or five different times in 2023 I was able to go to my Park reservation park earlier in the day, get a virtual queue for Tron/guardians of the Galaxy, and then go over to the other park (after 2pm) and get a virtual queue for the opposite ride.
I think when the crowds are lower, Disney quietly loosens the rules. I once got to use one VQ slot twice by adding a party member that wasn’t originally on it after I used my slot. That is definitely not normal, but the CMs weren’t even phased when I came back through.
@@nikkimirhosseyni9535 Hmmm…. interesting.
Thanks for the info. If I have the opportunity I’ll try & see if I can do that too. 😁
Can you use the Kroger delivery when at an outside Disney park hotels?
Whenever I go to the parks, I’m able to hold 2 virtual lines at the same time.
How?
I’m doing a 4-day 4-parks trip in August. Any tips (besides checking park hours), especially since it’s mine and my sister’s first trip?
I have a question
Is any of the cabins or some of the restaurants disablity abled?
Good
I had a horrible experience on the mears connect it took over an hour and a half after landing to get to the resort half an hour from the airport. My friends who arrived on a different plane also had to wait a ridiculously long time to get picked up and the driver just forgot to drop them off at the resort and she refused to turn around.
I don’t know if i experienced a good glitch, but when booked a virtual queue for CR in 2022, my fiancé and I booked separately (he can get motion sickness so we decided I would go first and determine if it was okay for him or not). My boarding group popped first, I went on the ride, and LOVED it but determined it would probably not be a good idea for him. Afterwards, though, I was poking around on the app while we had some snack (after the 1:00 VQ drop) and saw an option on my used VQ to “add a party member”. I tapped on his icon just to see what that meant, and it activated a second VQ pass! I was able to take him magicband and use it to go again. And it didn’t take his VQ away, I could have theoretically gone two more times but opted not to since we were enjoying the world showcase when his opened. But I’ve never heard of that being a thing so I guess I just got a little magical glitch.
Question! My family is going next Sunday as our 8th time but first time using the DAS pass. Are there any tips you would suggest for using the DAS pass in 2024?
Columbia Harbor House is really good with Allergy Friendly menus ( dairy, peanut, gluten free etc…) We always call our trained leader/ chef to come speak with you. You’ll receive a pager and we make sure it’s on a different tray etc …
can you do a video about the disney college program thanks
I've been watching / listening to these vids for the fun of it, but my stepmom mentioned potientally going to Disney in Cali so I just had to see this one (I mean, I know it's not Disney World, but Disney LAND, but hey!) so now I had to see this vid for real.
Hoping I can make the Halloween event since it may be late September (aka, near my birthday) and I can meet Dr. Facilier (and maybe see him twice?). ;D
(I shouldn't be getting my hopes up though, since it's still months away and excitement does have that moment where it bites me in the butt in the end)
Don’t sleep on Bounceback offers. Our next scheduled trip is cheaper than any current deal bc of our last stay. We didn’t get an email or anything. I just read about it in the Disney magazine in our resort room before we checked out
On the new rides, can you go and standing line or is it virtual queues only?
Currently, TRON in Magic Kingdom and Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT can only be accessed via the virtual queues. However, when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens up, that’ll probably change. (So it’s always good to stay up to date on how to access the newest Disney rides!)
I usually grab Guardians at 7 am with a 10 am return time, and they have never denied me entry even when I arrive around 4 to 5 pm. Can't say the same for Tron though, they are very strict on that.
Going on a school Disney trip this year 😩 I’m a junior
If you can't find your car in the parking lot, try the panic button on the keychain. You may have to try it from several locations. If you still can't find it, ask a cast member for help. They will ask you when you arrived...
Thanks! I’m going to Disney world TODAY/TOMORROW!
Edit: I said I instead of I’m.
Make yourself more visible by adding battery operated fairy lights, balloons or flags to the scooter basket.
Does parent swap work on something like Tron? Where you can get to ride it twice with just virtual queue?
I don't think that Tron has rider swap. (It is not at all rides.)
I have a great Cosmic Rewind story with a question. We took the Skyliner and did early entry at Epcot and got in a little after 9. Had a virtual queue for CR boarding group 8. Meandered around France for a few minutes. MDE then notified me to be at CR by 9:46! How is this possible? We had 15 minutes to get there and barely made it including a last second bathroom stop. Was totally worth it! But we should have had at least an hour after park opening to get there, shouldn't we?
You would think, but nope! They start calling as soon as the park opens!
AJ @disneyfoodblog is basically my hype lady when I have a trip booked even when my trip is still months out ❤❤
About rideshares - don't be afraid to take them if you want to. Some of the nicest people I've met in Florida were the Lyft/Uber drivers that were *SO EXCITED* to give us all their little tips and tricks, meanwhile I've been more than disappointed at how rude some of the actual cast members can be. Shout out to that kid working Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway for chastising me for it not being the actual day of my birth, like do you want to work for Disney or not whats with the tude >> 2 years later I'm still salty lol
I know that you were able to covert quick service to snacks, can you still do that?
So am I right thinking if I booked a 14 day park pass we wouldn’t have to book any slots or parks anymore?
Because we went in May 2022 and thought it absolutely ruined the Disney experience from our previous experiences (obviously Covid reasons)
Random question, DFB team lives in TX so how do they go to Disney so often? Or do they also have a vacation home in Orlando?
Our team lives all over! AJ lives in Texas, but we have several writers and reporters that live in Orlando. We also have editors and our video team that live all over the country
@@DFBGuide good to know, thanks!
Can you get in a cue for riding trim at night?
If you're there during an After Hours event there may be a regular standby queue!
When using Genie+ is it per person or everyone can use the same one if that makes sense
per person 😢.
If you're not going to be pushing a stroller around....whats the best park bag for a family of four? Do you run into trouble with rides and having a backpack or bag?? Thank you 😊
A good option for a family of four could be a medium-sized backpack. It depends on what you plan or bringing to the park, as well as if you plan on buying anything within the parks. We have a family of 6 (4 kids) and have done a of trip without a stroller (all kids at a young age). While you may need to stow your bag in a locker for certain rides, having a bag with you shouldn't cause significant trouble as long as it's within the size limits specified by the park. Opt for a bag that is spacious enough to hold all the essentials for your family of four, such as water bottles, snacks, sunscreen, wallets, phones, and any other personal items you may need throughout the day. Consider a bag with secure closures, such as zippers or buckles. While you want a bag with ample storage capacity, you also don't want it to be overly bulky or cumbersome, especially when navigating crowded areas or boarding attractions! One suggestion of mine is to heavily consider a cross body bag / fanny pack, I have never once had to store it in a locker for any ride.
@KaiLyo thank you so much!! That's a lot of great advice...my biggest concern is small enough for convenience but big enough to carry drinks without weighing us down...wish me luck!!
Virtual ques fill up in 1 microsecond.
I always used to go to early hours in a park then go to another park when the crowds got busy. Not now, a 1/2 hour is not worth it.
Does anyone know if Festival of the King will be closed after March 31, 2024 - and for how long? Wanted to see it April 2 when we'll be there but no times available - so sad....
Check the website, there is usually a closed list. If nothing else call Disney. I suggest a 8 am call, its before you get long holds.
I clicked on the link for the special free dining plan deal with a 4 day/4 night trip for Disney Plus subscribers but it's not listed. Does anyone know why? Do these deals sell out?
I believe you had to book by February 14 for this deal
Aj whats a date based ticket. This is my 1st trip so im not sure
MOST tickets are date based tickets (you pick your arrival date when you purchase them). Non date based tickets would be things like Annual Passes or Cast Member Passes
B there august for 38 wedding anniv
Congratulations 🎊
Congratulations 💞
Beautiful. Congrats 🎉
Congrats!!
So it says online that you can’t buy lightning lanes during extended hours, but that has to be a lie… Can you buy them during the after hours events? We went to extended MK hours last night and it took us over 70 minutes to ride Tron and there were all these people going in the lightning lane. And they only give you two hours in the parks, so it felt like all we did was ride Tron at 11pm at night and then run to space mountain. Seven dwarf never dropped below a 45 min wait on the app-- and it is February! I’m so confused how to do that part well.
Do people who are not attending after hours events get somehow kicked out before the fireworks or do the just prevent them from being in certain areas.
After the fireworks finish, the CMs start checking for AH lanyards or wristbands (depending on the event). I have been there as a AH guest and as a regular guest on an AH night. As a guest, they let me and my cousin ride splash mountain as a walk on up until the line hit 15 minutes, then they started checking for AH lanyards and we made our way out, but as a AH event guest, we entered during fireworks and they as we headed beyond the hub, they were already checking. So if you’re at the back of the park, you may get to hang out and take advantage for about 10-15 minutes if you are already by an attraction or just coming off it (basically we rode Splash about 5 minutes before closing and 2 times after the park “closed” while it was still a walk-on, since us being there made no difference), but you can’t try and run across the park because they will ask for your wristband as you enter a land that isn’t on your way out or try to enter a ride queue.
@@nikkimirhosseyni9535 thanks for the info
Are they trying to sell more park hopper passes?!
disney parks just raised the prices again yesterday
24 days before we go baylake and grand floridian
If you use your Disney card for your Magic band to charge items, will you get Disney rewards?
I did my last trip (2018).
Do more universal videos
15:50 timestamp. Maybe I missed this, but why do you have to go to a resort between park hopping? I thought buses went park to park? Is this a recent change?
I believe park to park now starts mid morning
I know 2024 like just started, but when are yall gonna start the 2025 tip videos?
Lyft and Uber DO NOT charge extra for car seats because they DO NOT provide them. YOU MUST have your own or the driver can and should refuse the ride. SO if you have a small kid and do not have a car seat your probobly not getting a ride!!! JUst sayin!!!
Can the Minnie Van deal with scooters?
I think they can but must be requested.
They charge so much for after hours ; don’t they? Or is it free at some hotels?
Extended Evening Hours are free for those staying at Deluxe Disney Owned hotels or Swan and Dolphin. After Hours events are a separately ticketed thing -- usually between $119 and $139. Super confusing!
@@DFBGuide Thanks for that info. I’ll definitely call to see if we can get tickets. 👏🏽
Yea, swan and dolphin are close to $900 on the weekends
It's been tough to get a room there lately! Popular place!
@@DFBGuide super!
