Yess although the mission x is not set to come out till like 2027 hopefully they realease the 919 street that would be a much better 918 replacement since none of the other trinity (ferrari and mclaren) are going electric

@andreasbauerreis5669 i disagree. The SLR was a closer rival to a Bentley Continental, than to an Enzo or a CGT. The SLR is pretty and powerful, but it's a boat.

I'm here for this comment, it is really an eye catching active wing and I'm all here for it.
It's nothing crazy compared to the TSR's crazy wing... It's cool but fundamentally not a major thing to hype up the car for. It's 80% marketing and maybe 20% facts.

@@Shinyadeyeah, I’ve from some that it some design cues from the senna and the p1 and this is basically the best of both worlds, functional aerodynamics like the senna with taking away a gorgeous design

As a car dude, this thing looks awesome, inside and out. As a mechanic; there is no amount of ibuprofen available to squash the headache that will be routine maintenance.
Just wanted to say, you've got a nice bike! Also feel like most super and hyper cars require a LOT of careful, expensive work just for routine maintenance to happen. Oil, filters, tires and brakes for the W1 are probably worth the same as an econobox!

Still looks like they integrated the McLaren swoop logo headlights; though they just look sharper pointed (angular) in the corners, whereas the P1 headlights were more "swoopy" looking in the corners

Was gonna say, to me it's looks like a cross between F5, Rimac Nevera and Lykan Hypersport.

It looks great and is obviously improved drastically compared to its predecessor.
But, am I the only one who finds the P1 to be a lot more fierce looking ?
The p1 is a design masterpiece. Really hard to top its looks. But I think We need more Time before coming to conclusion.
P1 has clean lines which is timeless. W1 is very angular, think body kit addons which looks too busy. It resembles many other hypercars and doesn't stand out from the pack like the P1 and F1.
its real the p1 is much better looking , and p1 just feel more special , p1 has the looks , and the tail of p1 is just super sick

Thank god its not fully electric! McLaren you mad lads did it. A 4L V8 with a hybrid system is the way to go. It has all the acceleration benefits of an electric car, but still gives you the feeling of a beating V8 heart and all the feedback that comes with it!
McLaren F1 was my fave on my childhood days, P1 on my 20s. Now this might be on my 30s. What a piece of art. And that power is just mindblowing!

Yeah I got Senna vibes too, it's the bottom half of the side view of the car, there's not the windows, but if the Senna didn't have side windows; It's got a similar profile I think.
With these performance metrics, this should be classed as a hypercar, not only a supercar. Looks are on point too.
