My mom threw a TV downstairs at my brother. But she loved her kids. She just would never put up with ongoing disrespect form anyone. He grew up and married like ALL my mom's kids did and has a famous son that plays trumpet and one that play piano professionally and owns his own house in CT. He never does drugs or drinks. His kids are educated. All my brothers and siters kids are out of or in college except two twin girls that got into Yale but did not go but they became writers earing money and worked for a TV show. If you have kids in the hood, sometimes you have to be rough on them if you want to keep them alive. To do this, my mother would knock you out if she had to. I knew of no kids that were not raised that way in the 60s and I'm sure before that. You got knocked out sort of speak. But you had respect and knew how to show it as well.

@@wantallthesmoke223 I was raised by parents who were in their late 50’s when they got me and they never hit me or hurt me like that for any reason so older generation or not it doesn’t really matter. My parents knew they didn’t have to hurt me or take things I loved or just take their love for me away to teach me to do better. My bio mom on the other hand would use everything as an excuse for a spanking or a reason to pull any safety net I had out from under me so I know both sides of that coin. Now as a mother of 5 myself I take from both experiences. I don’t put my hands on my kids and they only get grounded from things like screen time or other things that aren’t tangible or super disruptive to their wellbeing. I wish parents would break these cycles because it’s really abusive and has lifelong consequences for said child that grows up to become a member of society who can’t function without worrying about making the smallest of mistakes and usually has people pleasing tendencies and massive amounts of anxiety.

Being an African American man from NY, I have absolutely no problem with the mom punching her daughter in the face for stealing. But only because the daughter is an adult, and she was an adult when it happened. You can't claim child abuse if the "victim" is over 18, people. And because the daughter was and is over 18, she should know right from wrong and therefore have enough since to realize that stealing in any capacity is wrong, and stealing from FAMILY?! That's a good way to isolate yourself from the only people who will ever give a damn about you. I wouldn't want to be around my adult child if they had a history of stealing, and supposedly this isn't the first time stealing has been a problem for these two. On top of the fact they came on national TV and the daughter failed a lie detector test for stealing, and most of the comments of this video are talking about what a pos mother she was for hitting a GROWN WOMAN FOR STEALING?! That's how you know Steve's audience is predominantly white.

Some people will lie until their last breath leave their body.😮 I knew the daughter took the money she was to cool calm and unfazed. I raised four daughters. If I would had accused one of my daughters who have no history of stealing from me.They would had been hurt devastated and offended and crying tears of rage and humiliation on that stage.I their mother as close as I am to all four of my daughters. I would think one would steal from me.Never seen mother so proud of putting her hands physically on her daughter. May explain why the daughteris a liar and a theif..Narcissist liars are created most times from childhood trauma neglect abuse and abandonedment by a parent. They feel entitled their manipulated and never own their shit .Even if given a lie detected test on national t.v.😮

Second segment (Two stories in today’s FULL episode). My heart broke for Ciara and what she went through/endured. Another horrible “mother.” She failed her daughter, she failed all her children. No accountability, no true emotion at all whatsoever (the fake tears). The fact that she repeatedly tried to justify it, had the nerve to get defensive and walked off like a coward. Lady you’re not the victim. The victim is your daughter. I will never understand these so-called parents coming on here and having the nerve to blame & gaslight their child(ren) for something that was out of their control, something that some monster did to them. SHE WAS A CHILD!!!!! Spanking & punishing your child for something so heinous, for confiding you. (The main person who’s suppose to be there for and protect her) about being sexually and overall physically abused.. EXTREMELY disturbing & sickening. The repeated “I don’t remember” was cringing. She’s still a horrible mother, because who tf treats their CHILD like that for telling them what was happening to them. I’m glad Ciara truly is done with her & cut off all communication/connection. Not everyone deserves children.

Second, just because she wasn’t ashamed of hitting her and said she didn’t regret it doesn’t mean she was happy that she did it which a whole bunch of you are saying.
