One of the reasons I now drive an Integrale - standing in Dalby forest watching 6R4s, T16s, RS200s and S4s hurtle by at ludicrous speeds - is the Integrale quick by today's standards? It's still rapid but above all it just feels special.

Great car, I remember seeing every now and then back in the early 90's always wondered why they had such a big ass spoiler on the rear. I also remember seeing an Ascona 400 racing in the 80's, It did pretty good for what it was, placed 2nd.

It's not a great sounding car ? I think the later YB's of the Sapphire 4x4s and the Escorts had one of the sweetest engine sounds, I love that slight shriek they always make around 4,500 to 5,500 rpm.
How tempting Yaris GR's, Focus RS or Hyundai N's are, I stil prefer old school Cosworths and Impreza's....
I definitely miss homolegation rules, not just so we get more exciting road cars, I want the race cars to be relatable to the cars on the road. There is so little left of the road cars in any race car on track or rally stage.
Narration is a bit too quite. Not always easy to hear even when volume is turned up high.

Hardcaslte welcome to youtube... sound production/levels are mostly terrible, apparently the way to do it these days is to ensure that the audio clips at all points, same as most audio producers the last few years. A poor mindset that louder is better!

yes, but as their work continues elsewhere, i don't feel like we lost anything at all. in fact, with bigger budget for production, i feel like we only gained from their departure with evo. besides, it seems that evo have employed some new people who do their job pretty well, so far.

group a was the perfect formula for rallying and touring cars. wrc spec cars aren't worth watching.
like demolishing tower bridge and building a newer more practical one. there would be no satisfaction from seeing it. (just like a wrc spec car).
its very satisfying when you you see a car just like your own fighting hard on the stages.

No no, forget about group B, what the fans really want is an electric rally championship. Think about it, while spectating in the forest there will be no noise pollution from the engine or bothersome anti lag, so you will hear nature at is finest. They could refine the traction control until the cars stay perfectly straight, none of this sideways silliness. In later years they could even go driverless, to stop all those crafty Scandinavians from winning. I think it sounds just great!
