This video came out at such a convenient time. I've been watching for many years now but after seeing Hashaton spoilers I want to get into playing cEDH. I've felt so lost playtesting hands but this gives me a better idea on what to do and look for
I look forward to these podcasts to listen to on my Friday runs after work, this week I have been running a fever of 103. So, I am instead watching you from the comforts of my bed trying to survive. Thank you for allll these podcasts. They are great.
HEY GUYS I meant to comment this on the last one but forgot until just now! I think, the most effective "balance" of seat order would be. Seat 1: 0 Free Mulligans Seat 2: 1 Free Mulligan Seat 3: 2 Free Mulligans Seat 4: 3 Free Mulligans And everyone still draws their card on the first turn HOWEVER this puts a lot more time in mulliganing than it does in actually playing the game... would LOVE to hear your thoughts!
Having a gameplan for your hand is also good advice for casual way too many players keep hands that has lands and spells and then don’t actually do anything
Regarding that long winded Rog Si hand mulliganing down to 5: Why wouldn’t you just imp seal for ad Naus? You then keep the council instead of born and hope it digs you to enough rocks to pop off, and if you don’t, you sculpt your hand on turn 2 and the cards go to grave, then turn 3 tutor for breach
Regarding the 3rd Rog/Si hand, I would keep the borne, still play the necro t2 (hope that it resolves), but then I would value play the necro to just refill my hand and go for the win on turn 3 with all my mana up. Otherwise, if you dump your whole health pool into the t2 necro, then you run the high risk of whiffing on your 0 drop mana rocks to get you where you need to be mana wise to finish off the game.
I would say that the difference between mulligans in cedh vs casual is more than cultural. In cedh, you need to go fast and develop a gameplan as fast as possible, every single game. In casual commander, where not everyone is having crazy strong starts, that just makes you a target. And if you are on a mulligan to 5, and get 3 pieces of removal sent your way, you're probably 100% out of the game. In casual resiliency is far more important than speed. The average casual game is going to see at least 1 board wipe resolve, if not 2-3, and if you are several cards down on everyone else, it won't really matter that you had a fast start when the farewell comes down.
If you guys do this again you should use a d12 for the commanders being played and a d4 for seating. Id love to watch more especially since im learning plagon!
33:48 Why not just Imp Seal for Ad Naus. T2 Culling jam naus? It's a bit unprotected but you have the online counsel on T3 to put together a backup gameplan if that doesn't work
I’ve got a question for you guys. Now I’m not a cEDH player but I’m interested in the format. I was recently going through my bulk and came across “Flamescroll Celebrant//Revel in Silence” (Strixhaven set) the back side of the card seems really good cEDH giving you access to another instant speed silence effect. So my question is why does no body play it? -!: what are your thoughts of the card for cEDH? Is it because the front side is red and the back side is white that it can only slot in decks with Boros colors. I feel it should be played more in partner decks/ any boros cEDH decks.
Especially cedh! Casual you're good to just run with it if you can pilot well... but making a plan turn 1 in my head can be rough! .. maybe I'm just playing decks out of my play style, or firm understanding 🤷 lol
Dylan why do you want to play Mystic Remora on turn 1? Tournament games aren't like UA-cam cEDH videos, people will just not feed the fish and Tymna decks are super happy playing creatures every turn. Unless you have a bunch of fast mana early I feel like it's better to hold Remora for your win attempt with Valley Floodcaller and use Fish to draw more interaction.
Sorry guys. Watching your TnT mulls was rough. I play a lot of 3 color decks and run 4-5 fetches. You dont have underworld breach, why are you playing off color fetches? I maybe wrong but isnt 6 fetches enough? You also get 6 duals and 6 shocks plus rainbow lands. To many of those TnT fetches messed you up cuz the fetches were red.
When they mention, Not having Mana crypt, you could gamble for ancient tomb, play talisman or rograk with Dswat up. turn 2 ADNAUS. wtf. EZ keep. @cam @dylan @freedomwaffle.
“I’m Cam” “I’m Dylan” “I’m Injured”
🤪😆🤕
💀💀
Was Tyler just so good at cEDH that someone lashed out? In all seriousness I hope he's ok! Glad to see the three of you on today :)
excellent "say the line fast" bit at the top, y'all. also Tyler on Krark Tymna? BASED
this new 'Injured' character gives off a pleasant if slightly pugilist vibe
I hope u feel better, Tyler. Much love to you and the play to win crew
Tyler is the GOAT for rocking that beauty mark this podcast

Love the test hand vids on insta, love that you guys are going deeper into it. Another stellar vid!
Oh was Kinnan deck upsetting someone recently lol
Fantastic episode guys! Thanks!
Is it just me or is Tyler looking more badass this week?
I was just going to say this
Recover well tyler, i wish you the best.
ANOTHER EPISIDE OF MY FAVORITE PODCAST!
As someone just getting into cEDH, this video is WILDLY useful.
I love the test hand episodes!
Shoutout Tyler , I would’ve been at home sleeping
I really enjoy these test hands / mulligan episodes and shorts. Such an under talked about topic
32:55 couldn't you just gamble for ancient tomb? does the same as crypt if you have no lands
Shouts out to the Lake Compounds sweater
HEY GUYS I meant to comment this on the last one but forgot until just now!
I think, the most effective "balance" of seat order would be.
Seat 1: 0 Free Mulligans
Seat 2: 1 Free Mulligan
Seat 3: 2 Free Mulligans
Seat 4: 3 Free Mulligans

Tyler must love Kahn’s of Tarkir because someone cast savage punch on him in real life…
Hope you'll get better Tyler!
44:49 needed this today
Having a gameplan for your hand is also good advice for casual way too many players keep hands that has lands and spells and then don’t actually do anything
Tyler's going for the intimidation advantage in the next tournament.
Regarding that long winded Rog Si hand mulliganing down to 5: Why wouldn’t you just imp seal for ad Naus? Every time the camera goes to Tyler I am immediately drawn to that eye.
Watching from CT. Shoutout Lake Compounce!
Love this idea! Ive been thinking about playing cedh but i feel like my mulligan desitions are sht😂
Is there a link to Tyler’s tymna /krark list?
I think every game (unless you get an incredible opening hand) you should mulligan at least 1 time.
That intro was definitely a top 5 podcast intro!
I hope Tyler defeats his demon ego Injured and recovers soon before his eyes go full bloodshot and we lose a national treasure ❤ get well soon!
Looks like tyler won the counter war
Injure has some insane takes and great points

for the rog hand that went to 5 i would go bottom land born, impseal for naus and go t2 naus unprotected with council as the backup plan
That’s what I thought immediately as well
Will any of y’all be at the Hunter Burton memorial?
Kenny pilot here, DYLAN 😎😎🔥🔥
That first hand of rog u don't have fierce up if you have to copy the ritual
If you guys do this again you should use a d12 for the commanders being played and a d4 for seating. Id love to watch more especially since im learning plagon!
I say this with all the love but Tyler, you look like a true villain now.
My face? You should see the other guy-tyler.
39:12 My dudes, look at Tyler. I don't think you want to see him angry so why are you tempting fate?
33:48 Why not just Imp Seal for Ad Naus. T2 Culling jam naus? It's a bit unprotected but you have the online counsel on T3 to put together a backup gameplan if that doesn't work
That’s my line 😂
Genius
Looking at Rog/Si hands was 😎.
Did Tyler take an overhand left from a tiger? 🤔

Could u not play food chain kenrith and use the draw ability to deck everyone out?
It looks like the virus is kicking in. I predict the talking stops at 20min, and the last 27min is just Tyler eating Dylan and Cam....
Sweetness! I suck so bad at mulligans 😅
It is tough for sure.
Especially cedh! Casual you're good to just run with it if you can pilot well... but making a plan turn 1 in my head can be rough! .. maybe I'm just playing decks out of my play style, or firm understanding 🤷 lol
Damn. Who fucked up Tyler's eye?
Second 7 in cedh is bonkers

As a Narset, Enlightened Master enjoyer, I'm hurt by Tyler claiming that only Etali, Atraxa, and Kinnan can keep hands that are all mana.
My friend plays kenrith almost all the time, the deck is painful to play against because it just grinds so much value
Imp seal for ad Nauseam
where Ufarm list?
im the tymna kraum author. triple rogsi is in fact my worst nightmare.. Would have snap kept that 6 though and gambled for dark ritual
I hope Injured is okay.
Rog/Si just jam it, the longer you wait the more your opponents have.
Every intro Dylan's face starts tweaking mad crazy. Just chill bro.
also glasses of urza, against single or double turbo is excellent. triple though yeah that's useless
Band hurt Kennrith a LOT
Someone does not like the kinnan player
Tyler, this community will disappear someone if they hurt you mate.
In my play group we start with a Mana rock and three lands, then we shuffle and draw three more and keep. No mulligan. That wouldn't work in cEDH huh?
Far too consistent, and that encourages poor deckbuilding
Who tf crashed out on Tyler?
Algo
no means no
It's not a good podcast unless Tyler is sighing in frustration at least once
The fuck happened?
