When I returned to school in my thirties, I learned firsthand how rewarding it can be to share the wisdom we've gained through our lived experiences with younger generations. There were still a few moments where I felt othered by classmates, but the majority of my younger classmates genuinely appreciated the wisdom I brought to the table.
