    I received mine a few days ago and I believe this is one of the best products Rockville has put out. Fit and finish is perfect, sound quality to my ear at least is fantastic and I have been a serious audio enthusiast for 45 years. Definitely loud, and stress tested it just through Bluetooth for 2 hours on max volume and the amp was not even warm. No hiss at all, soft shut off and dsp’s are helpful. I do worry that the poles that connect the top speakers are plastic and if one was dropped it would be sure to break if it landed on it. The sub is hefty but also helps in a solid sound with no rattles or vibration.

      I truly believe this is one of the best tower arrays on the market today. I have told people time and time again nit to let the price point of $599 fool you. These are some serious contenders to JBL, Yamaha, RCF, Bose, Turbosound, and all otger companies putting out these tower array systems. I have own the Turbosound IP2000's and the IP3000's. I have owned the Yamaha StagePas 1K too. This out performs all of them.

      No hiss & the fans are NOT loud like one consumer claims are they? Individual said you hear the fans without music playing. He also owns the EV50.

      @JonTisch All speakers are going to have some amount of hiss. I only hear the fan if I'm a tiny room with nothing on. It's a powerful ans does well pulling heat away. You're never going to have 100% of everything you want out of a systems.

      @@BluesCat1980 I agree on the hiss. The person that purchased the Titan was making a big deal about it. Yes, I am interested in a pair of these. I was hoping Eddie T would respond. His review seems great as well.

      I will say I had it in a room at our business. Approximately 1400sq feet which was very quiet at the time. Didn’t notice and unusual fan noise and with it playing quiet music you would never hear it, at least on the one I received.
      I tested it on a concrete floor in a room with a hard surfaces but drop in tiles. I thought in my opinion the speakers are incredibly musical and I was truly blown away at the clarity they were putting out. The sub is heavier but not unruly. I think the heft is good for a solid sound but also understand someone that travels with these weekly wants lighter. The bass is very responsive, and really impressed me that I could run it wide open and kept right up. Of course it also depends if you are playing something with over the top bass.
      I would also say the bags that come with the speakers are nicely made, how they hold up over the long run it’s hard to say, but I thought it’s an incredibly nice touch, considering most companies don’t do that and it really is nice to have all of that Included.
      If I had to pick a weak point, I would have to say the connecting pipes for the towers are plastic but maybe all brands are that way.
      I would definitely recommend these to anyone. Now granted how these hold up over time, who knows but after running it wide open for well over an hour the fan was quiet and amp was cool along with the air from the fan in question.

    Thank you for this video! I may be in the market for something like this. I’ve used some portable line arrays in the past and this might meet all of my needs. Wish there was a white version!

    I own the Mackie DRM Series 212 & 215 mains. Nice bass. Wood 12" & 15" cabinets. 134 & 135 SPL 1600 watts. I was thinking of trading in the 15" for these but i might be better to keep them. I run an external mixer with effects. I DJ weddings mainly and karaoke. Tell me your feedback. The new Titan Array Pro is probably similar to the EV50 or the Harbinger 1000 from Guitar Center.

    How’s the build quality, do you feel it would stand the constant loading and load out for a mobile DJ?

    • @BluesCat1980
      @BluesCat1980  5 місяців тому +2

      Oh, yeah! The build quality is fantastic! The coating on the tops and sub is very similar to Rhinoliner. The sub is actual wood, so it's got wonderful resonance.

    I recently got the Titan Pro. Its a beast of a line array but its too heavy to transport easily. It also has a hiss and a fan sound. They missed the mark on this one. I wanted to like it but in the end its too big bulky. I went with LD's

    Hi, i want to get a pair of these.. so you think they are loud for party at least 200 people?

    • @BluesCat1980
      @BluesCat1980  5 місяців тому +1

      I'll tell you what I told someone else. These don't produce sound in the same fashion your traditional boxes do. People are always concerned about how loud they can get. They have plenty of sound. But if you want to be really loud, I suggest going another route.

    I have the Titan Array battery powered ones and they are still kickin' after 2 years of use. They have an 8" sub that thumps. Rockville always made good car speakers/amps. I wish they made these battery powered. That would be a game changer. Especially for the price. The 8" battery powered arrays are $299 a piece.

    Hows the bass any good im looking for crazy bass

    • @BluesCat1980
      @BluesCat1980  5 місяців тому +2

      Let me tell you this. This thing is not designed to give you crazy bass. It's got great, bass, but if you want crazy bass, you're going to have to go a different route. A lot of people buy these tower arrays, thinking that they're going to get more out of them than what they can do. If you want crazy bass, you need to buy a dedicated sub to get those kinds of lows frequencies.

    Is it loud???

    • @BluesCat1980
      @BluesCat1980  5 місяців тому

      Again, loud is a relative term because tower arrays are different than traditional speakers. In the sense that they can project, yes, they can project well. But as far as loud goes, I don't know.

      @@BluesCat1980At that point you might as well put a few extra dollars towards something better. I guess that depends on your needs and budget of course. That being said, thanks for sharing. 👍🏾
