I have a hunch that Boeing doesn't have a great engineering team anymore which is why the 777X isn't airworthy yet and there's no new cleansheet designs on the horizon.
Boeing's main problem is its management, CEO, senior managers, and political BS. How do I know this? I worked for that company for 15 years, and nothing has changed.
Boeing was a great company destroyed by incredibly greedy and genuinely evil Board of Directors. I’d get on a paper airplane before I would get on a Boeing.
Boeing needs to worry more about treating its employees properly and creating advanced reliable products over stock value. This is what union busting and profit-above-all reaps...
BOEING shall focus on fixing technical issues on their a/c asap. Then create a marketing strategy for selling their babies...THAT 'S IT good luck folks at BOEING
I HATE it when videos like this just throw in clips that have ZERO to do with the topic - like 747 build clips in s video about the 777x. Also - what's with the "seven hundred thirty seven"? Try reading your own script rather than using a substandard e-reader...
indeed. The field now has a partial vacuum with Boeing no longer a force. That leaves the Embraur crowd and the Chinese. My money is on the Chinese to remove Boeing as even a vestige of its former self
Boeing has an issue with hitting the mark on its first iteration. 777-300ER is an excellent plane with excellent engines operated by many airlines worldwide. Just create a NEO version and it will sell.
Boeing will eventually fix all the issues wrong with the 777X but Clients will suffer serious delays and it will cost Boeing dearly. Better they find and fix all the issues now before full certification.
The big deal is this is not some prototype, this is the actual FAA certification plane, and this kind of MAJOR defect shouldn't have been just picked up at this very late stage. And the question now becomes, what else has Boeing missed?
@@FLIGAVIA You reveal a basic misunderstanding of the issue. Before you'all go in with a "Yep", what you need to do is get more mature and get more knowledge. I don't trust you.
@@FLIGAVIA You clearly know nothing about the design, testing and certification processes of a commercial aircraft. How long have you been an expert in this industry? Unless you tone down your nonsensical assumptions the regulator might have something to say about your channel...
Every new aircraft has a limited time before it needs significant development expense to either upgrade or replace. Hopefully, development costs will be recovered during the first few years so that good profits can be made during the middle period, and respectable ones during the end of the life where increased discounting in the face of improving competition increases coupled with reduced demand as customers hold out for the replacement in development. Under normal timescales, it would not have been unusual for the 777x to have already covered the development costs, or at least be close to doing so. The A350 managed to do that, and with a clean-sheet design! Not only do these delays reduce the time the program has on the profitable phase, but those increased development costs will take longer to recover. A double whammy! I am not predicting that the 777x will be a failure, however I doubt that it will deliver anywhere close to the financial success Boeing expected. This will be the third underperforming commercial aircraft program in a row. Hopefully, the new boss will ensure that there isn't a fourth.
You have very well summed up what all Boeing fans forget because there is no point in selling a lot of planes like the 787 which is sold off at the price of a 330 NEO and which is still not profitable. Boeing for the first quarter is still in deficit and without forgetting that the MAX cost 50 or 60 billion in losses... Boeing is a financier but he loses money....
Is like you are exaggerating the issues and is as if you guys you don’t have something else to report about. Boeing will definitely over come the existing problems finally so.

This video could be 1/2 the length if you didn't repeat everything 3 times. Just get to the point.
The YT algorithm rewards videos over 10 minutes long. And they can put an ad in the middle. So a lot of these channels pad the videos out.
Boeing's main problem is its management, CEO, senior managers, and political BS. How do I know this? I worked for that company for 15 years, and nothing has changed.
Seems to be a problem at many companies, failure of leadership at the upper and middle management layers, and no comittment to quality.
Who needs the Kardashians when we have Boeing? 😀
Thank you for NOT having a robot voice......much much better than all the other podcasts.
Please support us more. Thank you.
They should pay Airbus to solve their problems.
What sort of weird narration is this?? You just keep repeating the same crap over and over!
Bring back the 747 with more efficient engines.
Shalom
Yep the queen
The 747-8 had efficient engines. They weren't selling.

I agree this video sucks never really says anything just regurgitating the same thing over and over again and again.
True
Hopefully you watched at least 2/3 of the video before commenting.
Even NASA won't fly Boeing. I never will.
Boeing, you got this😢
:(
Well that was one nothing burger of a video.
Inheritance laws caused the demise of Boeing.
If this shit gets certified before comac
I'm from Georgia. If we have a car that F*cked up as bad as this plane, our mechanic would advise, "Jack your P.O.S. up and drive a car in under it."
This is what happens when you let all the old very experienced engineers leave.
All to save money ! We all see the results.

Boeing still not good to built planes including 737 max and 777x.. it always problems.. airlines better buy airbus.
That would only mean more back logs for Airbus. Airbus needs competition Embraer or something else needs to step up before it becomes a monopoly

Tanks for the interesting. Nice view on a Rolls-Royce Trent XWB Engine at 5:01.

How does anyone think that taking 10 minutes to say something that only needs 2 minutes, will gain subscribers? Pretty video. If that interests you.

Actually good that they find it during testing. That’s why we test, so what’s the deal here

It should have just made 747’s, would have saved trillions.
Hope it back
Quality control, or design failure?
Type out the words "seven three seven" or "triple seven" then your E reader will say it correctly.
Thanks for your feedback ❤️
Passengers will not fly with it. And companies know that.
The bug was caught in time and it was necessary during testing. It will be better next time!
@@FLIGAVIA too much problems with all new Boeing models. We don t trust anymore
Question... Why is it the 777X but it has a big 9 on the tail? Shouldn't that be an X? Am I missing something? Lol.
It's the the 777X-9
777-8 and 777-9 are the 2 types of 777x, just like 737MAX has an 8 on the tail (MAX 8)
superb mister
Thank you! Cheers!
What a load of bollocks. Who is this guy ? He clearly knows nothing about aviation. This industry doesn't need misinformation like this!
