I switched pod lights! RIGID D-SS Pro in flood pattern

The KC HiLites Slimlites were too big and the wrong pattern for my A-pillar lights. So, I opted for RIGID Industries D-SS Pro specifically for the SS part (side shooter) and the flood pattern. I will mount the KC's on my bull bar when my Axia Alloy mounts get here.

Hi Julia. Thanks! Quick question, how easy are those Yellow/Amber covers to snap on the D-SS Lights? Any drilling required (I saw this from some other YT video)

There is no drilling required. They are easy to change out using a flat blade screwdriver in the slot on the lens. I learned that the hard way! Gently pry up, hold it, then pry up the other side and they come right off. They snap on easily and are very secure. In video I just posted about the KC lights, I show how to do it.

Hi. I just got the exact same lights, but I'm getting a little bit of noise over 65 mph. Do you hear more wind noise after installing these?

No, I don't notice any more noise than my Jeep makes. Do you have the covers on? I leave mine on (I now have clear covers).

@jeepinwithjulia no. I haven't been able to find the clear ones. Not even at Rigid Industries. Also. I got the driving pattern, and when I turn on the lights while the car is off. I hear a pitch noise coming from le lights. Please check yours and let me know if it is normal. They were very expensive and I'm kinda worried about it.

@jeepinwithjulia also I noticed that you installed your brackets the way the instructions say but if you want them to be flush and look like the ones in the box picture, flip them around and they will end up being way more into the light. Way nicer as you almost don't see the stainless steel bracelet. Try and let me know 👍

@@reynielasencio1964 I don't get any noise from them when turned on and Jeep is off. I bought my clear lens from Quadratec, I think it was "1 left in stock". Maybe they aren't making them any more.
