While you and Anna can spot all the lovely pieces, in the past, you’ve used tons of restraint and been totally disciplined. That’s why you had the ability to take advantage of wonderful buys today. I love Arcachon! I’ve been there 3 times over 5yrs. There are no better beaches in all of France then the beaches from Arcachon south to St Jean de Lutz.

This got my adrenaline buzzing…I love auctions so much, and I’m very much in Anna’s camp with grabbing a ‘bargain buy’ and hence I always attend auctions without my partner aka: ‘the handbrake’ 😂 Congrats on some great buys, you got some wonderful pieces at great prices…..and I’m quite envious, especially of the little round table and pair of chairs! 🙌
I enjoy auctions, of the right sort, of course. Recently online and the items were close by (in a private river front home) so I didn't have far to go if I won anything (for pickup). I like antiques, have some and maybe don't need anymore? Got a couple of nice items for $20 each (1 lot-wing chair never used in the library and 1 lot-a couple of tall sleek early 1900's lamps for a buffet table). You guys got some really nice pieces for a great price as well. Congrats on that! Glad you filmed it! Looking forward to seeing them placed soon.
