I worked for Fort Miller 50 yrs. Ago installing septic tanks and burial vaults. I would haved loved to have this machine. We had an electric cart that covered about half of the vault and it needed to be centered or it rocked back and forth. We had 3 sheets of plywood that had to be moved all the way to the grave site. There was a 2 ton chain hoist that we used to lower the vault. After ypou were done the whole process had to be repeated for the cover. Lots of improvement from the 70's.
The vault looks like a Monticello, which is actually a bnice lined unit. Since the family doesn't do a graveside. Service, it wasn't painted. Usually they are painted copper color.
Actually is is just a simple concrete vault used for utility. In other words so any weight on top of the grave will not collapse the earth. You can spend all you want on a vault, but it will NOT keep the body from decomposing.

Thats a really nice vault cart!
You know what sucked about that day? Laying down all that plywood to track in on. Lol
The cemetery grounds crew probably laid all that down.
Lol yeah I was just saying that I know that’s at least 20 + sheets
Its not Saratoga National Cemetery. It is the Morris B H Solomon National Cemetery.
Can't believe only one guy is doing all this.
I like watching video
Also intresting how the lid is under the vault on the cart.
But alsp no figure 8 was used and maybe thats why the lid is underneath.
It's because it won't rest on top due to it hitting the top of the trailer and you set top last anyways.
Is that when the hushand and wife is burried in same grave? The first one goes far into the ground and the other on top?
This is a military cemetery where our military warriors are bearied

If this is a Veteran Cemetery our veterans deserve better than this look at that cheap-ass vault.

As Hilary said what does it matter
