    Digging great in that sandy soil....show me how it does in hard packed dirt!

      I get what your saying, but they wouldn't have to use this setup with all the forms if it wasn't sandy soil.

      If you have ever dug a grave, it would be obvious to you that they dug this grave by hand and then filled it with sand. These people are bullshitters!

    Digging a grave is a complicated procedure at best. If everything is laid out properly, you have a good chance but nothing is perfectly aligned in any cemetery.

    Clever, about time they had a system like this, it's more tidy especially on a rainy day. Where did the sand come from are you guys near a Beach, just wondering . W Percival from New Zealand 🇳🇿 Gardenia🌺 Band

    In some European countries the caskets are stacked vertically atop each other to maximize the available space so a deeper grave is necessary.

    Digging in sand is easy to do , why don't you show us it digging in clay ,stoney, chalky ground and lets see how good that machine really is.

    This video starts with a large amount of the work done, and what are those prefab liners? Are those used in digging?

    • @Suane333
      @Suane333 3 роки тому

      Perhaps they are grave liners - once the casket is lowered a concrete lid goes on top to prevent grave colapse

    Straight away I noticed that was sand...not dirt. Soft sand. Hardly realistic. How many burial grounds have lovely soft sand?

    this process looks very complicated compared to just doing it with a mini..
    what if you run into rock??

    • @tomclarke1768
      @tomclarke1768 5 років тому

      They DID run into rock & a lot of it! They dug this grave with a mini, trimmed it off by hand & THEN filled it in with sand to demonstrate how 'effective ' it is at digging graves. Some idiot in an office somewhere will buy it for some grave digging staff & it'll rust away in a shed somewhere until it's sold as scrap. What a joke! 😂

  • @ranckie
    @ranckie 5 років тому +8

    Looks to me like with that soil, two or three burly men could have dug that quicker than that very expensive rig. Or, like the other gentleman said, one of the small backhoes would make quick work of that task. JMHO.

    • @cygnusccott9683
      @cygnusccott9683 3 роки тому

      Plus the backhoe also carves the dirt on all four sides, not merely pick up loose dirt like this machine.

    Not too long ago 2008 when i was a kid, was watching a grave digging backhoe , breached someone else vault, breaking the vault, saw the coffin exposed but they just covered up and moved on, did not think of it, but now looking back, that was unethical and disrespect to the deceased, My friends dad was the grave digger.

    Talk about sandy soil! Where I live I know it’s not this easy to dig for a burial, or anything as far as that goes. Not a clay type soil, but pretty much compacted.

      I've dug a few graves in my time & this is what is happening here : these guys dug this grave with a more powerful machine & trimmed it off by hand. And THEN filled it with sand to show how 'effecive' this machine is at digging graves. This is such bull-shit.

    So this no doubt very costly system consists of some liners and a digger, Heck I could knock the liners up out of some old floorboards I have out back and the back hoe could lift that dirt in half the time. Someone is conning someone if they buy this thing
