    Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.
    Check your local regulations, as each state and territory is different, before you travel into or though NP with your dog. Here is the Parks Victoria website for those of you wishing to read up on Victoria's laws 👉 www.parks.vic.gov.au/things-t...

    Only been panning for about 7 months and I have to say your videos have taught me a lot about reading a creek. I took your advice Saturday, crossed the creek where I wouldn’t have normally gone and had my biggest spec count ever. Keep the videos coming because they’re teaching me how to be better at this great hobby. Can’t wait to try more new spots now.

    Thanks Chris. My areas are more like the 2nd bank erosion example. I think the fact that it just looks like wet mud has thrown me off. There's loads of Brooks and rivers with 18th century bridges and stuff but I'm fixated on finding bedrock. I think that i need to let it go and concentrate on what's in front of me. I find loads of ironstone in large sizes too so I'll follow the heavies like you advised me earlier.👍🏻

      I would love to be able to dig up in the banks on the claim that I work but I'm not allowed we're only allowed to dig out of the stream only and it sucks that I've been stuck there but it's the only claim open for like another month unless I was to drive another 6 hours lol but the good news is the ice is breaking up The Creeks are a little flooded at the moment but in another week I should be able to get out and it should be warm enough that I can test pan all day. 🤟👍

      @@VoGusProspecting relatable. I learned 3 things in high school. 1. Not one teacher I had realised each kid learned differently. 2. No teacher I had would even try to make the class interesting. 3. You know they’ve given up and are in the wrong job when they tell you the answers are in the back of the book.

    • @dr.lexwinter8604
      @dr.lexwinter8604 3 роки тому +3

      @@VoGusProspecting I hated school. It wasn't until I was in my late twenties and early thirties I realised that NO class is boring, NO subject is boring. Just the average teacher is absolutely abysmal at their job. I can sit through hours of Lindybeige talking about tanks, or medieval history, but in five minutes of my math teacher prattling my eyes were glazed over and I was drawing dicks in sharpie on my mates school bag or getting into trouble in other ways. Mostly to do with drawing dicks on things.
      In fact, high school was quite homoerotic, there's a LOT of dick drawings to be drawn. In my defence profane things aren't going to draw themselves. After a decade in dead end law enforcement gigs I ended up putting myself through law school and getting a bunch of other letters after my name. I disregarded the teachers entirely and focused solely on the written materials and powered through it. Learning is great. Just our teachers tended to be shit.

      @@jakefranklin269 It's so true. Bad teachers are why so many of us leave the education system earlier than we ought to. University was way better compared to high school. People are there to learn, not there to fsck around. Well. Once. There was a sweet spot around the 2000's. I wouldn't recommend it now though, universities have become a laughing stock. When a bachelors in Afro-Lesbian Dance Theory is held as equal to a Combined Bachelor of Laws / Communication Science degree like my undergrad in the work force you know that there's something sorely wrong in the world. And even then that doesn't guarantee anything; I know more people working dead end jobs, retail, labourers, or even just unemployed who have bachelors and masters in subjects that make me wince in pain to think of.

If you need some positive reinforcement just msg me, I have C-PTSD too so I know how hard it is to get things done sometimes.
