I feel like standing in the boot at the store don't help much. I really need to strap into my binding and hanging my board with my foot for at least an hour to tell if the boot is good fit. And best if I can strap in both boot and do some butter.
Well your getting into some of the most comfortable snowboard boots on the market, hope you enjoy the Nidecker which was Flow. I have been riding them for over ten years and use most of the line well made and can take two season easy riding as much 45-90 days of course those were teach days!
I have a BOA system type boot Maysis Boa, and I'm not sure if it's normal, but after 1 run of trying to practice basic tricks, like any presses, the boots become pretty loose, almost like it was never tightened. And yes I click them down and then tighten. I'd have to retighten after 1-2 runs. Is this normal?
I had some issues with the double boa too but I could easily fix it, however the speedlace of burton is a real disapointment ! The boots can't stay tight and the system breaks...
Hello good, I wanted to ask you which board do you recommend me to buy I like rocker boards and next year I take the snowboar instructor I am more of the freestyle
any update about the shoes? i actually bought a pair and used them for only 2 days. the sides got a bit scratched dont know why.. but was wondering if urs as well? anyway i would love to get any update about how are they for you and what are there durability
What sucks is now that he’s sponsored by a brand, everything is going to be a nidecker plug instead of gear that he would actually go into the store to buy
Kevin has got to make a living so he can keep bringing us awesome vids. I am happy that he was able to get sponsored because it means he will be able to continue doing what he does 😊🏂✌
@@PaulJakovich yep. But it takes away from his true product reviews and with the largest snowboarding channel on UA-cam I’m sure he’s doing just fine lol
What do you think about the boa System now? I went from a boa System to traditional laces, now I'll ride the adidas tactical adv start it next week. Why didn't you choose the adidas again? I thought they would be a game changer.?.?
I've had two pairs of them. The inner padding near the toes gets worn down fast which ends up making the boots fit loose. If you are a park rat I would advise on different boots, the Rulers are quite stiff.
Ive a problem with stiffness. I had thirtytwo lashed, loved them on my horroacope and Cartel flex bindings. Wanted to try stiffer on a super doa, but nitro team boots are a nightmare to me, too small, too narrow too short, tls is a nightmare. But Can i use my thirty twos on the super doa at all? The thirtytwos are kinda soft i think flex 4and the super doa is flex 6. And the bindings.. cartel flex? Nitro team pros? I really dont know what can work
If you want to save money try boots on see how they feel then see if they are on sale anywhere. I got ThirtyTwo Lashed Alito version boots for £170 in an end of season sale.
Jake is so confused by your boots hahaha! Great tips about the toe brushing and heel hold. If you dont go to a shop and actually try boots on its impossible to get a sense of good fit. Sizing varies from brand to brand as does the shape of peoples feet. If you dont have good fitting boots it doesnt really matter what other gear you have its probably not going to be a great day on the hill. An important topic for new riders.
Hey Kevin, I have always wanted to get into snowboarding! I skied when I was younger. I have a couple of friends that are really into boarding and they take trips every year. I have decided that I would like to join them this Feb on their trip, however, I am pretty overwhelmed when it comes to purchasing equipment, boards, jackets, bindings, etc. What would you recommended that a novice do in my situation? I have learned a lot through your videos which has helped! Thanks!
Buy secondhand 100% - all the new gear is way too expensive for a new snowboarder and if you hate it, you will want to sell it all. Secondhand gear may not look as nice, but it is just as good. Dont pay more then $400 for all new gear (board, Bindings, boots). Goodluck!
You don't seem to be thrilled with any of the Nidecker products that you got. You would say something great about the product then recommend it. Not the case for these products.
I’m testing out my new boots as we speak. Thanks for all of your super helpful videos. 🙌🏽
Thanks Kevin, I just starting to look for boots
I think It is time for a video about body preparation for the upcomming season.

Kevin, what your favorite snowboard?
Could you do a video going over a set up for smaller resort snowboarding in Michigan and other areas without huge mountains!
Yooo
it’s a must that would be clutch
Nidecker are making they way up.
We are coming to whistler! You about Feb 2nd - Feb 13th?
thumbs up for the rad doxie at the end
Thanks for the tips! Are you based in Whistler?
Nice duster!
Thanks!

No. Your Boas are faulty.
Hey Kevin, do you ever hit up smaller hills in BC?
Love your sausage dogs’ hoodie
whatte those are the exact same boots i have and bindings thats insane dude
Awesome! How do you like them?
I went for shoelaces and Addidas. Actually your last year boots model.
Nice Alexander! Those boots will be all gone soon so great that you snagged a pair!
Have you found a good board shop in van yet? I just moved here and haven't had time to go looking yet 😄
I mostly visit the shops near 4th and Burrard.
@@SnowboardProCamp nice, I'll go check out the area this weekend, thanks man!

picks up myself a pair of vans pros from last year for nice and cheap!
heyy :)
When will the boots review come out ? looking forward to get the double boa reviewed.
Could you make a video on the burton cartographer? Please??
Ellstacker here
@Chats 2 stack stack
One thing I’ve had a problem with on every boot I’ve tried is the top of the boot hole is always to big
what boots do u suggest for the first pair to buy?😊
What about shock absorption? Is there any way to determine that from walking around in the boots?
Hello good, I wanted to ask you which board do you recommend me to buy I like rocker boards and next year I take the snowboar instructor I am more of the freestyle
I love this so informative
Maybe you’ll answer ;D. I am an average rider, enjoying long rides and also some small jumps. I have a narrow foot. Do you have some recommendations?
Much prefer them over your Sambas?
whats the best binding position
The best part 3:36
I have never seen someone buy new stuff as much as you do.
Got any tips for buying boots for splitboarding? I Have Karakoram Prime SL bindings.

Hey Kevin, what do you think about Men's Burton Ruler BOA. I would like the boots to work in the park very good.

Great video! I have wide boots and everything I got so far are painful. Do you recommend any midflex boots that are good for wide feet?
Cool gear

Love the content man, very helpful for the upcoming season

Kevin can you make a video on where to buy second hand gear?, and tips on what to look out for
Facebook marketplace is a great place to find second hand stuff! Lots of snowboard resell groups too!
Yep Facebook market place, Craigslist etc. Have loads of great gear... Just be patient and I guarantee you'll find bargains.
Yooo Kevin you should do a giveaway of your old gear (super DOA)
Awesome, super helpful vid!
Who else is so stoked for the upcoming season!..❄
Super stoked!
For years you've been saying you prefer regular laces and now you chose double BOA. Never old enough to learn, right?! ;-)
Are you captain John Price's son?
Thank god, not another UA-cam shorts post. Trying to teach important fundamentals in a 10-15 second video is just not it.
someone got a sponsorship lol
He talked about it a few videos ago, the one called big channel announcement
@@bradypatterson8859 must’ve missed it
You can wear boots in the store for 30 mins???😮😮😮

You didn’t disclose your conflict of interest with Nidecker. tsk tsk

Adidas stopped making snowboard boots unfortunately
This dude is sponsored by Nidecker, so Adidas is not the best ones anymore, lol

I’m saving my recommendations for after I ride and test out the gear.
