As someone who's been with LoZ and DBZ for more than 30 years. I have to say. THIS IS THE SICKEST ANIMATION IVE SEEN THIS YEAR. THIS SHIT BETTER GO VIRAL. Legit you put my 2 favorite series together and made an absolute MASTERPIECE.
The transformation into beast Ganon and that half of the fight was probably some of the greatest fan animation I've ever seen on the internet, and I've been around since before Newgrounds was a thing. It's not even the graphical detail, it's the energy you were able to pull out of those frames and just the overall artistic flair. At certain points it almost looked like a Japanese watercolor piece, like something out of Okami. The way he stood looming over Link and Zelda after the transformation, and his figure warped and rippled like he was radiating heat...I literally got goosebumps and found myself gasping under my breath. I thought this was just gonna be some cheeky DBZ parody, but I honestly wish someone would just give you a chance and let you work on an original project. Again, I get that it's not the most detailed in terms of literal illustration, but you show an impressive knowledge of color grading and balance, lighting, depth, cinematography and blocking. It's one thing to have a super glossy animation that feels average and doesn't really evoke any emotion, but this is something entirely different. A small part of Toriyama lives on in you. From one artist to another...don't try to be like anyone else, don't borrow ideas from anyone or listen too intently to anyone, don't get distracted from your style and brand of creativity. Do what you know, be your own artist. Not everyone will understand it, and that doesn't matter. Whatever you do...don't stop creating.

Most of these drawings are just copy pasted over dragon ball and objectively ass, you can stop the side account self congratulations, because lots of newgrounds animations over the years had very talented artists that are still much better then this , not even close.
This feels like the old newgrounds animations in the best of ways, from the lightning and blasts just essentially being scribbles to the anime references, even to the slip up on the song in the beginning and using soundbites from the game. It absolutely wouldve fit in back then, and it’s definitely even better that it released today in a media environment that feels so soulless. Incredible work.

I also appreciated the Spirit Bomb sword reference from the Goku Black Arc. The power scaling was kinda trash but I always loved that idea of fusing one of the strongest techniques into a weapon, or yourself (kinda like the Dragon Fist).

so this was very interesting, and i get the feeling you had a very particular thought you humored and then decided to go the route of an ambitious fan animation. kind of best of both worlds in result i'd say. there's a lot of little details and decisions that feel the same as I would've made so i detect some similar inspiration. i also like that you allowed zelda to do the same thing, but it didn't last long. that's totally how the games would have done that. as well as the spirit bomb type attack condensing down into the sword instead of copying trunk's sword beam, and some other choices like that. i really like it

@@Alzeal07 It's called "Clickbait Remover for UA-cam" I would link it but I think auto mod got it. I also recommend a plugin called "Sponserskip for UA-cam" that auto skips sponsor segments, self promo, and tangents. It can even skip to the highlight part of a video or skip a non-music part of a song

As a long time DBZ fan, I thought I had seen it all. I was not expecting A Zelda and DBZ crossover animation. This was amazing and some of it was funny too. Exceptional work and very clever, its funny how well DBZ fits Link and Zeldas and Gandorfs powers. Merry Christmas I hope this video does well for you

so this was very interesting, and i get the feeling you had a very particular thought you humored and then decided to go the route of an ambitious fan animation. kind of best of both worlds in result i'd say. there's a lot of little details and decisions that feel the same as I would've made so i detect some similar inspiration. i also like that you allowed zelda to do the same thing, but it didn't last long. that's totally how the games would have done that. as well as the spirit bomb type attack condensing down into the sword instead of copying trunk's sword beam, and some other choices like that. i really like it
we joked about the Tapion theme in ocarina of time and I started doing a small animation, then got carried away for weeks of work 😂

god tier animation but i was not ready for links fall voice clip for the battle cry scream also the ss2 toonlink at the end was just funny gannon went to his brawl power level and died
