Homeland is an edge-of-your-seat sensation. CIA officer Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) is tops in her field despite being bipolar, which makes her volatile and unpredictable. With the help of her long-time mentor Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin), Carrie fearlessly risks everything, including her personal well-being and even sanity, at every turn. You won't be able to turn away from this gripping, emotional thriller in which nothing short of the fate of our nation is at stake. - Фільми й анімація
I need more season, im not ready yet for the end of Homeland...im feel sad and confused and piss...more Homeland please

There's always next season of Jack Ryan, lol
The greatest TV show of all time
I can’t believe its ending. I’ve been a loyal fan since season 1. It saddens me so much. Thank you Homeland for all the excitement, all the adrenalin. This series means a lot to me.
I just binge watched all 94 episodes in about 3 weeks. I can’t image having to wait for a new episode since 2011. It would’ve been so hard
I love this show beyond words...I can’t describe the feeling I get when watching it
im gonna miss this show so much. I am from Argentina and this show made me learn a lot.
Jenna is like a mini Carrie in training without the bipolar disorder.
ny_kia31 but way more annoying and far less likable
sure she does 😂
She was still new on the battlefield, after witnessing the death of those soldier she will be like Carrie 100%. She might even find out she’s bipolar
@@oxdhaoxt3694 OMG LMAOOOOO
I'm thinking she is in here so they could do a spin-off about her
I don't want homeland to end... It's my favourite tv show and in all these years it has never disappointed me...
I’m truly not ready for the end. Such a great show!
Carrie was willing to side with an enemy to save a friend and her country , i'm afraid she will end in a jail .....Pray for Carrie she deserve a happy ending
no she doesn't. all she does is cry in every scene. and now betray the man who made her. shame on her.
@@trupoo121 She risks her life and reputation to save max , yes she deserve better
Guys is just a movie
The last episode is named Prisoners of War so not so hopeful for her fate
She is a snake, always has been always will be with her destructive personality
There is no way possible this show can answer every question I have in 2 episodes.
My favorite show is about to end, i don't know how i feel about that.
We need another season
it is as sad as house md and 24 when it ended
Same. I’m kinda going to cry.
Same here 😭😭😭
supernatural guys, I've been watching that show since its beginning in 2005, now 15 years it's going to end😭😭😭😭😭😭
can u imagine how hard to saying farewell to show that you've been watching for 15 years😭😭😭
I’m so nervous for Carrie. We know it’s not going to end well but I’m hoping she gets a justified outcome. She’s a remarkable character!
It won't end well????? 😟😟
I don’t see a positive outcome for her, no 😕
I think she will die 😭
the level of production, attention to detail, authenticity in this series is what makes it the best!
I'll be honest, I didn't expect much from the final season, but boy have they blown my mind
this has been a stellar season... and it's almost over! this feels especially hard to take during coronavirus :(((
I love it when they do that stuff to the things
Do not want this show to end.
Imagine if at the end Carrie were to die protecting Saul, or if Saul dies protecting Carrie how sad this would be
A non has a point she surveilled Brody, met with Yevgeny, she turned down his offer of station chief with complete autonomy. In season 3 she went through hell for him but with the motive of saving Brody, in 7 she definitely went all in. Now was that personal to Saul?
I don’t think Carrie actually did everything Saul asked of her. Passion of the moment
Nah, she did. Every single time it mattered, she did.
It’s kinda wild that the end of Homeland ended up being this elaborate and over-the-top trolley problem (do you give up the asset knowing she’ll definitely die or be tortured if you can avert war that would leave thousands dead?), but I think Carrie makes the correct moral decision. Irony of ironies!
Now we have to compare apples to apples. Carrie was asking him to give up an asset’s name to prevent (in her mind) certain war. When Saul asked her in season three to convince Brody to go on a suicide mission for his vision of world peace, she said yes. When he asked her to wake up Quinn in season five to prevent a terrorist attack, she said yes. When he asked her in season three to sacrifice her reputation and, then, her independence, to lure in a foreign actor(Javadi), she said yes.
Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes.
As I said, she did what he asked every time it mattered. Did Carrie do EVERY SINGLE THING Saul asked her to over their twenty-year relationship? E no, I guess not every single thing.
Can't wait next week
Hey Guys. Look up the synopsis on the book Carrie is reading - The Secret Agent - I think this book tells the story of what will happen in the next two episodes. It’s going to be devastating.
So nervous for what’s to come. I think betraying Saul would be crossing a line that’s too far even for Carrie
If you're going to end the show this is the season to end it on. Really enjoyed it so far 👌
I don't want this to end. I hope some good series finale.
Carrie & Saul are linked for Life!
That's the One & only thing that really matters!/ & That will lead Homeland to the Epic finale that Season 8 & all the show deserved!
Despite all I still believe in both of them!
No more human words to praise Claire Danes' poignant & compelling acting ( more & more Bigger than Life!) & The unique cleaverness of all the Homeland crew!.
What a loss Is coming soon!.
I never watched this from the beggining because I thought it was another mid east series blablabla but someday I made the best decision giving it a chace and never stopped until today.
Episode 1 to 10...nthng but frustration & regret...can't take it anymore...something good needs to happen
Lol
Less you all remember the statement the FBI agent made in episode 4 or 5..."someone told the taliban where to stand exactly to launch the RPG which hit the 2nd chopper. " We still do not know that answer
exactly! the black box doesn't explain the presence of armed personnel which shot down the second chopper
Karl Burrow taliban were patrolling the whole area, and came under fire from US soldiers on their way to the crash site after the soldiers thought they shot it down... that makes the most sense
i predict a dark fate for Carrie in the series finale . she will save america from nuclear war with pakistan but end up spending the rest of her life in prison for betraying american secrets .
I can live with this, just like 24 this show doesn’t have happy endings, just realistic ones
I can live with that, just like 24 this show doesn’t have happy endings, just realistic ones
@ Aint going to happen..
The series finale titled "prisoner of war". So yeah. It's a possibility.
betrayed her country to save it. go figure.
LETS FKNNN GOOO
I hope there will be action in the next episode and the finale. Not just arguing and vague threats. And I hope we’ll see Frannie one last time.
Unpopular theory: the series will end with Carrie forced to hide away forever as her life has no future and the only man who can organise it for her is Dar Adal. And when she finally got to the place she is supposedly to spend the rest of her life at she sees Peter Quinn there whose life was destroyed with no light at the end of the tunnel as well, just like Carrie's at this point so Dar actually made him appear dead as he saved him and hid him giving him a chance for a new life.
I know it is too cheesy but I would love to have this ending especially when I find it weird how they just basically skipped over his death. I think they did it to left the window open if they wanted to bring him back
You need to go for a walk lol... . Great ending that would be though
I dont think your theory is so out there. In S6 Episode 12. Dar Adal says to Saul that there is a young teaching fellow (in the classics department!) that would appreciate some news of him. And what did Quinn love reading. Great Expectations. And what is the next Episode called. The English Teacher!!!! I appreciate I am wildly grasping at straws here. But you never know!
@@louisehatfield7682
Yeah, I remember that exchange between them and I found it weirdly out of nowhere. Like if you write a dialogue why would you put that exchange out there if it means nothing? To tease us? It was so out of place and had no continuation that I think they either hinted us that it might be him or as I said they left themselves that little straw to have an opportunity to wrap the series with him being alive if they wanted to.
I watch a lot of tv shows and Quinn is one of my favourite TV characters of all time. He was the soul of the show. The show itself I would rate 7/10. Unlike many others I hated the first three seasons with Broadey and could not wait for him to die to be honest)) Then it got interesting from season 4
I'm sensing the 11th episode will be the best of all time.I hope the finale gets a happy ending. Also I hope jalal die.
ALSO, whose excited about better call Saul s05e09
Shahnawaz Yousafzai I don’t think that’s it but that would be epic

Will Carrie ever be able to leave Russia at the end of the series? Obviously she can’t go back to the U.S., now is she dealing with an Edward Snowden-type scenario where any travel would end with her extradition? How badly does the U.S. want her? It’s kind of a sad thought to imagine her never being able to take a trip (besides to countries that won’t extradite).
I don’t think it’s like an Ed Snowden-type thing. So I think they can travel together, because of Yevgeny/GRU.
I’m not sure how badly the US wants her… probably somewhat now not as much as they want Snowden. The charges filed against her in S8.E11 would have been dropped after the flight recording footage was released. Now she probably broke laws spilling secrets in her book.
Porque que a última temporada a oitava saiu em inglês pra nós brasileiros não tem como lançar em português

I am leaning towards Saul as the double agent.
There will certainly be a reveal, either Saul or Carrie.

@@kbtokyo That would be a good twist.
@@kbtokyo #Afghanistan station chief.
@@kbtokyo Yeah, Carrie gave him a knowing glance before getting in the car to go to the airport AND it was Mike's decision NOT to send a rescue mission to save Max thereby ensuring, kinda, that the Russian had a shot at getting the flight recorder
Carrie is definitely it a double agent...she’s too much of an open book to be. Now Saul, maybe 🤔
Not sure why Karen wouldn’t play open cards with Saul and tell him about Yevgeni request. He could have an idea how to solve that problem.
Carrie is no karen mind u...she's awesome...

I see your point. But only Ivan and two lyver guys knew about, so it’s totally possible. It’s based on reality BTW
@@MrBlodhund yes, putin is the traitor us spy.
Who will be asset
A lot of different theories provided to see this will all end, particularly for linking Carrie's fate. I would be under the impression that she would be spared for all crimes and be re-united with her family and settle to a different country like Canada.
It is possible that somehow she gets real dirt on the President and swaps her info for a presidential pardon
I'm thinking suicide.
I'd be so disappointed if this was ending.
@@shinyg002 Lets just hope its not a disappointing ending, like the final episode of Power.
Wow, it's weird there are only 2 episodes left. It's interesting because this final season is one of it's best years because the storyline is very well represented and the episodes have a good pace; that said, I'm somewhat surprised that we're 10 episodes in and we've yet to see her father, sister, or daughter again -- obviously this could change given her return to the US in this last episode.
Against all odds, I hope Carrie achieves some form of peace for herself. At the same time, Carrie has always demonstrated her impatience towards what can be beneficial to her mental health and yet that's true for everyone at some point in their lives. I guess the million dollar question would be: Is Carrie going to sabotage herself beyond what's capable of repairing? Some fans are already predicting Carrie's death and I suppose I could get behind that prediction, but I'm skeptical whether the writers would want to end the series on that note.
James Rebhorn, who played her father, died of melanoma in March 2014 so they wrote the character out by saying that he died of a stroke in his sleep
@@sfinn85 Oh that's right! I had forgotten about that. Probably since I've only seen that season once. I've seen Seasons 1-3 a bit more since I have them on Blu-ray & I've watched them with friends who don't have cable to get them into it. Man, I'm bummed it's gonna be over soon, such a great series.
Ok, all we can do is pray with all faith, to Homeland find a great finale, to not disapoint the fans like GoT, Dexter, Lost, etc...

Homeland should do a season 9 and base it around the enemy releasing the coronavirus in the U.S
I thought about that, i'll admit.
Oh wow. That would be great. Even if it was the US
This same thought crossed my mind. I hope the producers consider it..

@@tanvvichaudhary23 Alex Gansa and the cast decided after Season 5 that this season would be the final one so production on the entire series has been wrapped and everyone has started to move on

After Season 5, everyone involved in the show decided they would bring it to a natural end with this season
I hope Carrie will end up ok... she deserves a happy ending!!!!
How was I able to watch this before it aired
Ask COVID
Web Dev I watched episode 10 yesterday morning and it aired at 9pm
Season finale on 26th
@ They release it On Demand at midnight, maybe 1am.
I don't see how Carrie gets a happy ending in any way. She has lost Brody, Quinn, now Max, and the German guy, not to mention her daughter and family. Now it looks like Saul is going down, but I am not quite sure what happens to Carrie...I don't think she is going to die or end up imprisoned. One thought I have is maybe her identity is finally made public and she has to start over at the end - maybe Zabel leaks everything once war is stopped as f*ck you to Saul and David W.
Really HOPE Sal isn’t sketchy...
WTF do you mean? Have you been watching the entire show? Not sure what indicates he is sketchy in some way. If its about his russian source, its a source giving Sal info which is why the russians want to know who it is
Do you mean #Saul?
Saul?
Saahib Vlog ummm yea him
Saahib Vlog yep that guy sorry I spelled his name wrong! Yikes.
Carrie ad Thanh sided with the enemies
always thought the show is clear propaganda, but I was able to block that side of it, and watch for the suspense. Now looking back, horrors by all sides are toned down, and if you're able to watch it as a total fiction, it's really a great show. Hope they'll end it well.
Propaganda from which side or faction promoting what? You mean pro-American, anti-American, or pro-some domestic faction against some other domestic faction on domestic or foreign policy matters? Because even though I've heard what you said about the show said before by others and myself would be the last to deny there's bias in all forms of media (including TV, film, etc.) as long as it's made by human hands, I never saw this show as propagandistic other than questioning the circumstances around terrorism/blowback and ideology of American exceptionalism most heavily in Seasons 1-3 during the Brody arc.
@@basharbodhisattva8404 Well you got over the last years reports of terrorist groups actually fighting in America's interest. All of the sudden atrocities done by terrorists are toned down. Whole shit surrounding Military Industrial Complexes(like that Zabel guy in this season, what's his whole thing) and Regime Change Wars is vaguely tackled. Show is kinda hopeful, that there are enough of good people in the agencies when the shit hits the fan they will emerge to save the day. Boy would it be funny if they end it with nuclear war and some Mad Max-like landscapes. I think it kinda depends on who's watching when you're considering if it's a propaganda. How much does it shows whole system as flawed or is it more "it's just this rotten individuals like Zabel, Hacquani's son, president dictator...". Again it's a fiction show, with great cast and suspense writing. Easy to watch. It's meddling so much with real situations but at the same time ignoring so much of it. And I mean how convenient to have all the shit happening because of the clueless president. And that one guy in previous season was basically that alex jones character so sure, it's kinda bias towards some of political views inside america.
@@basharbodhisattva8404 It's hard to watch it as total fiction because so much of it is based in real life, but if you don't or you can't, than you're becoming subject to propaganda one way or the other.
@@sickboy5919 I've been following the geopolitics of various MENA conflicts since the 2011 period a lot more extensively - particularly Syria, Libya, Iraq, Lebanon, and the U.S. role in them (and that of other imperialistic and interventionist foreign powers like the Franco-British bloc in the EU, Turkey, the GCC monarchies, Israel, etc.) historically and in the present period including many illegal actions like illicit funding, training, arming and equipping, providing of intelligence and satellite communications info, political/diplomatic and media cover provided for, and general state-sponsorship of terrorism (of non-state actor paramilitary organizations and those recognized as terrorists officially in the nations they operate in clandestinely or engaged in an insurgency/open war). It's been a core interest for a while. The intelligence shadow wars are literally going on every day practically 24/7 and few really know, acknowledge, or care; especially the extent and minutiae of it all.
I started watching Homeland in 2013 quickly watching the first two seasons On Demand and catching up with the third as it aired, and that's why also, being interested in history and IR stuff for some time, was taken aback that there would be a mainstream TV show with a high budget airing on a major American channel like Showtime that would actually take a serious pretty balanced and analytical human look at the terrorism issue, POWs, civilian deaths' impact psychologically, and issues like ideology, national identity, allegiance, treason, alienation, etc. that was much less black and white than shows and films you usually see on these subjects. It's not a documentary (all of which can also be as biased or riddled with incongruencies, selectively omitted information, and general misinformation or disinformation as any standard issue textbook) as it's art and entertainment after all, but I always wondered why many commented that it was biased (more than anything else anyway) since it seemed among the more nuanced and least class-based or factionally loyal shows or films from a U.S. producer I've ever seen even so much as mention a foreign policy issue in passing.
The show's POV seems to operate on the basis of acknowledgment that the country is a corrupt plutocracy and that there are non-ideological career appartchiks in it for personal gain alongside regular mundane staffers with narrow field of vision, as well ideological fanatics and the ruthless, vicious, and idealistic/self-sacrificial seeking career or physical martyrdom (not mutually exclusive) on all sides of any conflict ever.
@@basharbodhisattva8404 It might have seamed like I'm saying that I'm only watching it for the suspense and other than that there's not much to it. I do agree that the show is way more balanced than the most of what you can see in mainstream media, and that there is no other tv show on the same matter that is even close to it (matter being terrorism and middle east, I hear The Americans is great when it comes to characters driven spy drama). I would love to see the show on this same topic, but darker and less dramatized, kinda like The Wire. In Homeland, main character isn't Middle East, but Carrie. It's good show for what it is.
What the hell is going to happen to Saul ? Is she going to betray him ?
I predict Brody comes back from the dead to save the world. Because let's face it, something has to rescue this godawful final season.
too bad they can't bring quinn back!! show has gone down hill since carrie and saul caused quinn's stroke!
And whatever happened to Dar Adal?
Leave her alone, Yevgeny! Argh!
Is Carrie that asset.....
No Yevgeny
Just watched this episode. I won’t give anything away but will say WTF! That’s all.
Jilal Haqqani must die I'm so sick of him.. Carrie is way too risky and this might be the final act for her, hope I'm wrong here
I Saul a Russian asset?
Is? No, the question is who with russia is feeding saul info. Thats why the russians want to know because saul or someone is getting info from a russian top official
At second 20-22 seems like Sol is being apprehended.
saul is the mole
Uv gone coronvirus bat shit fuckin crazy
That would be the biggest shock in tv history. Nah too far fetched.
Nope. Wouldnt make sense. The mole is a russian feeding info to saul
@ For the plot to have a real kick, Carrie will be torn about stopping the nuclear war and betraying Saul. She will betray Saul if she finds out that somewhere along the line that Saul has betrayed her. For her to stop the war, someone has to get the flight recorder back to the US. Other interesting possibilities will be, did Carrie 'fall in love' with Yevgeny during her imprisonment /torture with the Russians, kinda like the Russians playing the long game against the Americans. I think her memory of that time needs to come back and it would be real satisfying if she shoots Yevgeny
@@robertjordan7281you just make it harder to wait for the next episode..lol

Carrie has a lot of blood on her hands. I think it'll be better she ends up in jail
she caused quinn to get shot, have a stroke, then die saving that useless president!!! i'm still mad about that!!! 😩
My wife thinks the truck driver is a Russian mole. I personally think it's the young girl at CIA station who gave safe house location to Carrie.
I thought about that as well. maybe Jenna,
I thought the same thing about the CIA lady too. But then, this show naturally makes me paranoid about everyone there. I don't think I could ever be a CIA agent.
Yevgeny said himself that there is an American mole inside the Kremlin
this episode was a failure!
the bombing of the captured c.i.a. ops should been enough to have america attack... someone. this episode was total snore! no none did jack except talk!
even their drone strike was a total lackluster! we don't even know exactly who america bombed. i don't see how episode 12 will have a complete resolution on the characters personal lives unless they do a time jump.
I'm not going to waste my time watching episode 12. episode 9 & 10 will be the series finale for me. man what a disappointment. half of episode 11 is nothing but flashback of the 1980s or something. ugh!
it's time for the show to end. most of this season's characters are weak and amateurish. maybe it's a budget issue.
Unfortunately, I felt the same. I know that sometimes if it's all too complicated it might seem too constructed (there are some series that like to live on the 'didn't-expect-that' way of telling a story)...but really the characters seem somewhat lousy and you can feel like they just want to deliver a last season. I mean, look at the past 7 seasons, how they actually evolved the characters after Brody left...also, isn't Carrie still in recovery? She seems fine without medication, or doing well with what she is (secretly) taking. It seems all a bit too rushed, which makes me a little bit sad. But I still enjoy it.
