I love daggers. My Les George Spartan V-14 is my favorite work of knife art. But the lowly Cold Steel Counter Tac-1 is a very practical carry dagger. The blade isn’t symmetrically ground, so it’s no good for bushcraft. But it is stiff, pointy, five inches long, & sharp enough to cut its way out. The steel is adequate for its rather limited purpose. Its handle is the most reliable one I’ve found to hold onto. (YMMV) I just wish they would come out with a fully serrated version.
Amazing group of daggers Dave. I like them all, I really like that bottle rocket and the handle is really great looking and the Bastinellis are awesome.
great collection! In Russia you can’t buy nc in the dagger version 🥲 only with one-sided sharpening. I like Bastinelli Telum, but I don’t like that Fox makes them, because Fox doesn’t have a factory in Italy, they make everything in China 😐
@@OGBladeReviews They don’t have production facilities in Italy, that’s it. two, I saw a few years ago customs documents for Fox knives, the place of manufacture was indicated as China.
@@OGBladeReviews That dagger looks exactly like Foxs' Modras dagger, which says "Maniago, Italy" on the blade. Whether that just means FOX is located in Italy or that the knives are made there, I'm not sure.
@@chadwik4000 this is funny to discuss) there are a lot of serial and custom knives that are made in usa/Italy etc. but it’s worth looking at the customs papers - all these manufacturers cooperate with China) Fox has no production in Italy. For example, I checked the declarations of official Fox dealers in Russia, for some reason the knives came from China) in short, it’s funny to discuss, the topic has been discussed many times
Double the edge … double the fun! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Just bought a Toor Knives Spectre that was released last night!
It's a little like the Les George Galvo shown here... 👍🗡️

Sweet blades. I love the look of a dagger. I have a cheap push dagger and the dagger exo-m. You have quite the collection.
Thanks 👍

What is your source for that information? Everything I see says Maniago, as with Lionsteel. 🤔

@@g1q1548 If they're selling these in America though, isn't their laws on indicating country of production?
