This far exceeds my expectations! I mean I knew it was going to be good but this is really amazing, thank you for not only giving a great way to add feelings for my twisted taverns and in general for my rpg sessions, but for also delivering some great music too!

The tavern at deaths door is a theme song I've been using for myself when I'm alone planning my sessions. As a GM it just puts me in the mood to help with the story building and I have to say thank you so much! You've done a wonderful job with this album even a year later!

Thank you so much! Just seeing all of your comments, and I'm always taken aback when I get this type of feedback. It really means the world to me. Was definitely one of the most challenging projects I've had to work on, just because of the shear scope of styles throughout. WIth most films and games, you can typically write a few themes to use throughout...but this was 16 distinctly different worlds I was writing for, each with their own instrumentation and themess. Had an absolute blast doing it thought! 😀

The Drunken Treasure is nice but, really, that place is a total dive.

I want to do a whole mystery adventure on the Rail away, easily my favorite one.
I'm so stoked that people dig the Rail Away! One of my favorite "taverns" for sure. I think I wrote three or four other versions of the track before I finally landed on something I was happy with and thought really fit the scene. Happy adventuring!

Thank you so much! I was trying to create something that would not only work for the taverns, but something that would hopefully feel timeless and place-less at the same time. Not sure if that makes sense! But I'm so glad that you and others are enjoying the album.

Incredible! I loved every second of it! I tried but I really couldn't pick out a favorite, all of them are phenominal and have their own vibe that fits the tavern extraordinarily well. You're making this very hard for me. The only thing I didn't like about this is that it ended. Thank you so much for making all of this and even uploading 1 hour versions for our dnd needs! If you don't mind me asking, how were you specifically chosen to write the music for the whole twisted taverns project?
Man...I'm so incredibly humbled by everyone's reactions to the album. Feels strange having it out in the world after working on it for so long. But I'm so glad everyone is enjoying it, both as music you can use in a session, or just to listen to as a standalone album. As for how I was chosen to compose the album...well, was definitely one of those rare moments where the stars aligned and I happened to be in the right place at the right time. My friend Greg Dombrowski (ua-cam.com/users/thesecession) was originally supposed to write the 'Tavern Crawl' trailer song...but he hurt his shoulder in an accident and couldn't work for a little while. The team were in a bit of a time crunch, and he knew that I played guitar and used to be in a band, so he reached out to me and asked if I'd like to take a crack at the song. After I wrote the 'Tavern Crawl' and it became a "hit", the team at Ghostfire and Eldermancy asked if I composed instrumental music as well as songs. I showed them some of the more recent compositions I had worked on, and the rest is history! Again, thank you for the kind words and for listening!

The Grand Shanty. Why do I hear a lot of Spanish Ladies in it?
Good ear! That's what the track is based off of. When I was brainstorming ideas for The Grand Shanty, I knew I wanted something recognizable that a ghost pirate would probably know. Spanish Ladies is a favorite of mine, so I went with it!
