I think it's worth mentioning that there is also a tenor clef that is actually used in trombone music when we play in the higher register. Additionally, unless you have a specialized trombone you aren't going to play many notes in the treble clef range without difficulty.
Technically you can say anything above C4 is treble clef, because while we read it in bass or tenor clef, it is still possible to write it in treble clef without excessive ledger lines.

As a tromboner who played for years, I actually ended up playing some old Mozart music written in tenor clef, which I learned to read for it. In fact, I kinda assumed the combining of the bass and treble clefs ended up with the alto or tenor clef until I saw the weird clef design at the end of the game.
My 9 year old son who plays viola and is a MAJOR Team Theory fan, got little pitter patters when he said that! And then he was like, why haven't I learned about the C clef yet?? I told him to ask his teacher and he'll probably blow her mind :)

I used to play trombone in High School and I can back up the trombone sections are chaotic. When we were practicing we had to make sure we didn't accidentally hit anyone in front of us with our slides because the seats were closer than they probably should have been. When we had our concert at the end of the year we had to go from the 1st position all the way to the 7th and me and a few others had slid are slides so fast that came off the end and we had to rush to put them back on.
