Love that the Komodo was named "Indah". In Indonesian, "Indah" means beautiful❤
Komodo dragons have been my favorite reptiles since I first learned about them at age 6. Inda is such a beauty!
I love Rober's interaction with the comfortable dragons is magical.
The komodo dragon is what my 6yr old has been so excited to come and see over the school holidays, and the echidna.

She's so cute. That was amazing. I didn't know you could train a komodo dragon. I'm really interested in what data came from that experience.

Hi nalani,how are you doing
Komodo Dragons are my favourite reptile, absolute savage badass’s
She is a cutie ❤❤❤❤ I just love her ❤❤❤❤
Robert is truly amazing. I hope he can forge forward as Robert Irwin, not Steve Irwin's son.
Agreed! Rob is his own person. I get so tired of people always comparing him to Steve Irwin and constantly saying he's "jUsT LikE sTeVe!!1" Robert is living his own life and doing things his way and honestly, good on him. I loved Steve Irwin, but I just wish people would realise tat Robert is Robert, not his dad.
WTG Robert!!!!
Aced it! ♠️☀️😎
Cool
This is awesome hey what age do you have to be to work at this zoo?
Indahs so cute ❤❤
Woah, Komodo dragon, I wish I knew what they were like
In the wild, Komodo Dragons are incredibly dangerous. They can kill hlumans by biting with razor sharp teeth which are covered in venom so you are poisoned. Hope this helps.
@@avrilbowler8755 I know that, but thanks. Not only that, but the komodo dragon is very fast for a lizard that size, It can run up to 20km/h. Just so you know, it can even outrun a human, if you are wounded by the bite, the komodo dragon will follow you until your last breath. And It can take down a water buffalo, Take it from me (I see them regularly when going to my grandparents) THEY ARE GINORMOUS. Anyways, Thanks for trying
@@bedantdahal2654 👍😊

Is this from one of the old episodes, cause I feel like I remember him doing this?
it was raining on crikey it’s the Irwin’s when they did this before
I love that Australian zoo wear the indonesian name to Komodo
Hi Robert
if you watch a video of steve and then one of robert its so crazy how a like they are
One question guys that Boy who was there is he reily ?
They definitely need to rewild the Komodo dragons into suitable habitat in Australia, they evolved in Australia and spread and dispersed westwards into the Indonesian islands. During the Pleistocene of Australia, the apex mega reptiles went extinct some 40,000 years or so ago such as megalania, quinkana, Wonambi, and also other large monitor lizards, large land crocs, and other constrictor snakes that haven’t been fully described yet. There extinction caused an ecological disaster, Causing severe consequences for Australia’s habitat and ecosystem dynamic, So reintroducing the Komodo dragon would fill that apex predator void and better balance and maintain the ecosystem appropriately. They would be very good a taking down large feral herbivorous mammals that are destroying crucial habitat for native species. They would also largely limit over grazing, and besides taking down invasive feral mammals, they would also take down invasive feral carnivores as well. And Cuban crocodiles would also be good candidates since they are terrestrial adapt carnivores and the fact that terrestrial land crocs like quinkana were living in Australia during the Pleistocene along with megalania and other reptilian carnivores.
Having become a huge fan of monitor lizards. Mainly because of watching videos put out by the New England reptile distributors (NERD) guys in New England. where Kevin McCurly socializes these intelligent animals until they're like puppies. I never saw any kind of a lizard especially ones SO BIG , turned into such sweet kind gentle and intelligent creatures. The Komodo dragon is just their bigger sister. In my next life I'm getting an Asian water monitor
Indah, so Indonesian name
It means beautiful
Isn't this taken from an episode of crikey it's the irwins?.
I remeber watching Doki and Komodo Dragons in Discovery Kids
Lol she shared the same name as my aunt, Indah😂
Ok, I am not understanding what they are doing here with this Komodo.
This is and EXTREMELY small kamodo dragon considering on average females are around 6ft-7ft and weigh between 150-160lbs
indah is such a sweetheart!
Hi
Me and my dad build a place called New Zealand and I am fully trained
Poor baby😢. So sad that she has to go through this for viewers / visitors to the park.
It’s not for viewers…as aforementioned, it’s for research. Plus if you watched in the video, you’d see the only ppl present were other workers, no visitors. The data from the pressure plate could be used for a multitude of things like checking the status of her health by comparing her results to others of her species, so it’s actually beneficial for them.
Have you ever hard of research before? Your ignorance is cruel to animals...
Another imprisoned animal in Irwin Corp.
Where's Australia zoo located??
I mean city, i know in Australia of course 😂
The one thing that always bothered me is why KD in zoos are so small in comparison to wild ones. Is it due to these ones still being young?
of course it still young , lol
I would've liked some more information on what they are testing, how the platform works and what their hoping to find.
CAN YOU DO US AND THE REST OF THE WORLD A FAVOR AND SAY "DRAGON POO" lmaooo
If that bites you your dead. Don’t be so complaicent.
Cool
