#tool #invincible #reaction
And think about this.......this is the last song in a powerhouse two hour set AND these guys are in their late 50's and early 60's.......Tool is Legend, I've seen them 13 times since 1993.....and they are still so precise, so accurate, absolutely stunning live!
Danny Carey has mentioned in an interview this song is probably the most technically challenging of Tool songs to play. These guys are amazing musicians.
Seen that interview.
Seen them live three times now. Every show is straight amazing. Visual and sonically.
No more questions. Just enjoy the tunes.
Best concert you can see. As long as you like their genre. The visuals are incredible and the band is so tight they don't mess up.
They mess up, but they are professionals. It really is something to behold live. You walk out of that venue inflated like a balloon for weeks
Omg this was an amazing reaction brother!! Real talk,
Every time I train Muay Thai/MMA or jujitsu, I try to have this song is always playing in the background🔥
42 years old, trying to stay relevant in combat sports but I know I’m not what I used to be. Always training with past injuries. It’s a hard realization that my “armor is wearing thin”. Oh and my 9 year trains as well and this is his favorite song right now🔥
Cheer’s from Texas brother 🤙OSS
🤘🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Seen these guys SEVEN TIMES!!! Guess you can tell how I feel about their shows!! Amazing every time, and they keep getting better.
Saw them in Miami last year. Most powerful concert experience I’ve had in 45 years of concerts. The visuals alone were beyond breathtaking. Mood mood mood and musicianship beyond anything out there now. Each a master
I've seen them three times on this tour, that's their finale and it is absolutely amazing!! Tool is my favorite band to see live, hands down. Their visuals and stage presence has perfected over the years to this. Idk if I can get better.
So glad you are listening to the song I recommended😁 Saw them twice, amazing to see live and Danny the GOAT of drums!
I saw them in Louisville, KY last year with my dad. By and far the greatest concert I've been to.
Awesome! 🤘🏻
I’ve seen them live twice. The first was 2001 and my memory of that one is a little hazy. The second was last March. That was pretty emotional for me, not just because of how amazing they are live, but also because of the memory of a friend of mine that passed away about 6 months earlier. Tool was his favorite band.
Never forget, though the list grows long
Man I feel your pain. Sorry for that loss!
My best friend/brother and I LOVED Tool so much. We saw them at Oz-Fest and that was the last concert we went to together. He was 39 and passed from cancer not too long after we saw them. I haven't been to another show since. 15+ years. I am going to see them at the end of Jan in Birmingham! I am so excited. But, I am sure it will be emotional for me too.
I've seen them nine times, each one is an incredible sonic and visual experience. They're touring this fall. Find them and go!
(Note I did not write anything after this message this is from Wikipedia regarding his Drum Kit.) Danny Carey uses the wood tip version of his own signature model of drumstick made by Vic Firth. He previously had endorsed a signature model with Trueline Drumsticks (now Trueline's Tribal Assault model). Carey also uses Sonor drums, Paiste cymbals, Evans drumheads, Hammerax, and electronic devices such as Mandala, Korg and Roland
Paiste and Jeff Ocheltree (noted drumtech for Billy Cobham, John Bonham, Lenny White, etc) teamed up in the late 90s to develop an entire drumset made out of recycled cymbals. The final product was a melted down Paiste's Signature bronze custom cast cymbals.Danny Carey used the kit during the Lateralus 2002 tour and during some drum clinics through the years.
Only three versions of this kit were ever created. Two are owned by Danny Carey and Carl Palmer and other one is located in Paiste's Switzerland headquarters.
Been to 4 shows over my life, incredible every single time, different songs, different experience always digging into their bag and pulling out something surprising. Everytime I think they can’t top their last performance they somehow do. Can’t wait to see them back at TD in November! LFG
I saw them in 2008? I really didn't know a lot of their music at that time. But the last couple of years I've grown to really appreciate each of these men as exceptional musicians.
Seen them 3 times twice in Denver 2007, 2018 last year in Salt Lake City hands down my favorite band live. If you get a chance to see them I highly recommend it.
TOOL LIVE is on a whole other level. I've seen TOOL where Maynard dressed like Cher. I've seen them at Red Rocks, where Maynard hid behind a blue wall, and his silhouette was all you saw the entire show. This last tour was amazing! The red and black mohawk, the artwork was so beautiful!! TOOL doesn't allow pictures of any kind until 'Sober', the last song of the night. I've watched SO MANY cell phones get confiscated! TOOL is worth the money LIVE. Absolutely the most AMAZING!!
🤘😁🤘
I’ve seen Tool live three times- first time in 2012 with my 15 year old daughter- her idea; I didn’t really know them. Made me a fan. Saw them in 2019 and in 2022 own my own. So damn good. One of my favorite bands ever. ❤
Yes I’ve seen Tool live many times. I’m in the 4th row in the Pneuma drum cam video.
Nice. I was there but further back.
I've been going to concerts since 1973, and I have seen some of the greats. FINALLY got to see Tool on this tour in February, and it immediatly dropped into my top 5 concerts ever. Absolutely incredible. Cannot wait to see them again as many times as the keep touring.
I’ve seen them 7 times since 2001. I wish I could’ve gone to older shows. They’re still great live but I miss the old venue they used to play near me.
seen this band live 5 times. may make it a sixth this fall if I can swing it.
life changing.
I’ve seen them 4-5 times. And again in October at aftershock. Great live
This is and will always be my favorite band and i listen to this song at least 5 times a day they are coming to Knoxville Nov. 3 and i can only wish i could go
Saw them last year and they were amazing! TOOL Army forever❤
A lot of people call us Tool Army elitist people. A lot of us were musicians and were music theory nerds. We welcome everyone to the Army!!
Seen them 31 times, can't wait for the next show
Lol thought I was addicted lol 12 tool shows 4 apc and 4 puscifer I'm jealous lol
“Is Danny Carey your favorite drummer?” Answer: YES, Neil is a close second 😅 Also I saw them Live back in 2022 in Tampa, it was an experience, and they nailed Invincible when I saw it. I have it recorded on my phone 😊
Oh mate, if you're a musician in general, but especially if you're a drummer - you've got to check out Tool. Would love to see some reaction vids. I'm a pretty recent Tool fan but the hype is very much real. Favourite tracks and ones you should check out? Rosetta Stoned (it's 'overwhelming' at first but you'll settle into it), Pneuma, Descending, Push It, Forty Six & 2. There's tonnes of others too, and I'm sure a bunch more people would enjoy to see you're Tool journey. Yeah Danny Carey is my favourite drummer, for such a giant dude he's very dexterous and also very 'sympathetic' when it comes to dynamics and one of the first drummers that properly made me realise that drummers could have 'feel'. Definitely here for your Tool/Danny Carey journey
Pointing at my phone : Danny is my favorite drummer and looking at my wall as a camera I say watch Stinkfist from StL live 2019 because a Stinkfist is awesome as you know😉 good shit brother!!
Live 8x and its the most incredible journey you will ever go on
Tool is easily the best band I’ve ever seen live
Saw them in 2003 in Arizona and it was absolutely incredible
Buddy Rich is one of my favorites. Really fast drummer.
Danny's drum set if you're curious,
Vic Firth (his signature stick)
Sonor Drums
Paiste Cymbals
Evans Drumheads
Hammerax Percussion
Korg and Roland Electronics
I love tool live!! They are definitely my top 3 bands to see live I have seen them 8 times. My favorite song is jambi. My favorite drummers are Danny Carrey and Ilan rubin
Seen them live about 8 times since 1996. The only band that matters in my humble mind. They elevate when they play live to a different world. Go see them dude as soon as you can. Bonham is my favorite drummer then Danny.
Seen them 5 times since 2006. Kansas City x 2, Oklahoma City, Toledo Ohio, and Houston TX 2021(or 2022)…they never fail to present as the best. Amazing band.
4x at live shows: Lateralus tour, 10,000 days tour and 2x for this latest album - mind blowing show everytime.
I’ve seen them live 4x the 1st time was back in the late 90’s…..they’ve never let me down, fav drummer? Probably Matt Cameron or JP from Clutch
4 fav drummers danny neil and I like both from slipknot.
Danny has the most distinctive style of any drummer dead or alive

Will see them for the 23rd time in Daytona in a couple, come to Rockville!
Tool live is 100% sensory overload. It’s amazing.
Danny plays Sonor drums, and yes Paiste cymbals. My absolute favourite drummer. Have gone to a lot of their live shows here in Toronto and travelled to see them too! Live shows are definitely amazing!
His touring kit was a Tama for a long time yeah? Wasn't the all metal kit (from the lateralus play through video) a Tama?
@@ilikemusak no, always Sonor. The Lateralus play though was on the melted cymbal bronze kit.
His kick drums are smaller than normal kick drums. He used to align his kit onstage with the direction of the moon😂 idk if he still does that.
I have seen them live four times, and every time was mind blowing! T👊🏻👊🏻L🎤🎸🥁
Danny Carey is my favourite drummer !
To quote the great Tommy Boy, regarding Maynard's mohawk, "It's a clip on". If you want to see some crazy Maynard, seek out some footage of these guys live back in the the 90's &2000's. He's outta control.
Saw them live twice when lateralus came out
It will be my 6th time end of the month!!!! Greatest experience ever!!! In the name of Maynard, Justin, Adam, and Danny amen
my fav 3 drummers: danny carey, jimmy chamberlin, luke flowers
best live band!!!! I believe he plays donor drums
You must see drummer johnkew all of his tool covers are insane especially rosetta stoned , you should definitely react to one of his covers 💯
I’ve seen them 14 times. My first was on acid when I was 16. But, they were all spiritual psychedelic experiences. For real!
I have indeed seen them live, in fact I was at this show. It was incredible
I’ve seen them 3 times and I actually got to see A Perfect Circle in Houston.
I seen TOOL live in Milwaukee on Halloween 2019 and it’s the greatest show that I’ve ever attended out of the handful of bands I’ve seen.
I highly recommend reacting to Jerk Off by TOOL @ Coachella 1999.
Going to see them when they come to Birmingham Alabama. Not sure what to expect as far as setlist
Fav drummer, Dom Howard
I followed them on the lateralis tour from 3 states 🔥
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Seen them last month and going again next month. Greatest live band ever! Greatest band period. Best drummer ever, Danny Carey. All stars all. They sound better live to be honest.
Go see TOOL live dude. I here they're going to tour starting this Fall
Danny plays SONAR drums. And yes, Danny is definitely my favorite; however, this Japanese drummer is the best I've ever seen: Akira Jimbo - Independence:
ua-cam.com/video/eTlbcoaSGWk/v-deo.html
Akira Jimbo - Pulse:
ua-cam.com/video/kZhY1Y1y-NU/v-deo.html
Favorite drummer has to be Sean Reinert of Cynic and he played on Deaths Human.
Going to see them Feb 2024 😊
Colby, Danny uses a Sonor SQ2 kit
Justin is a brilliant bass player, the most popular songs of this band are bass. Vicarious, schism, 46 & 2, The pot, Pneuma, invincible...
You’ve got to listen to The Grudge next.
Indeed!!!
Seen them twice now should have been 4 but two of the shows were cancelled for various reasons but Gavin Harrison is my favorite drummer followed closely by Danny
danny and neil are 1a and 1b, simply because neil didnt have all the gadgets and toys danny has. but the musicianship is second to none on both their parts
Danny's kit is one of three in the world with spun solid bronze kick drums. They each weigh about 100 pounds. The rest of the kit(s) he uses are specific to what and where. "Tempest" or "Jambi" would be my choice(s) along with this one.....
Tool is definitively my best music discover, over Pink Floyd, Radiohead and more....Pneuma just saved my life, really....I'm a drummer too and, for me, Danny's drumming in the God Level 🏆
yes, more Tool!
Coś niesamowitego, jak grali to w Polsce, w Krakowie to było coś wspaniałego, jak chcesz mogę podesłać Ci Filmik z koncertu. Pozdrawiam. Niedźwiedź musi 🐻🐾🎸💪🎤
It's the best roller coaster ride of all time.
Tool doesn’t need and never have or will have a comeback tour…. Tool 4 lyf
Gavin Harrison from Porcupine Tree 🔥🇬🇧
Invincible, jambi, the pot and many others
Seen them 3 times...it is a SHOW. Think Pink Floyd. They really put it all out there for their fans.
One of the shows I went to, Maynard was at the back of the stage with only a dim light. Allowing the entire band and show to be the focus, and not just the "front man."
you ask who is favorite drummer. Well since neil has died in my book there is only twoo left ( MIKE PORTNOY AND DANNY CAREY) there are lots of fantastic drummers bot the two i named are my favorite. now whos youur favorite. look up the video Stormbringer with Dino Jelusik that drummer is also badass. and Dino IS THE VOICE . hope i got the spellin right
Favorite? All of them!
The Pot, Culling Voices!
You asked, “Is Danny Carey your favorite drummer?”
Without any hesitation, I answered out loud, at my job (medical office), “Yes! Without a doubt!”
The looks I got 🙃😂
You should definitely react to Blues Fuckers by The Aristocrats if you haven’t heard it already! Marco Minnemann will blow your mind on with what he does on the kit!
Danny Carey is nothing short of amazing. Check out some of John Longstreth's (drummer of Origin, Angelcorpse, ex-Gorguts etc) drum playthroughs if you want to see something with a little bit more speed! He's a goddamn machine.
I couldn’t land on a favorite live band, but top three are Primus, Tool (Who were banned from the venue for playing too loud😂) and Beastie Boys… Too difficult to decide…
do more live reactions of Tool!
Fav Drummers: Danny Carey, Brann Dailor and Charlie Benante.
Danny of course
Here for the reaction to 'the break' 9:32
favortie drummer danny carey, and probably i wil say that lars ulrich too and mike portnoy
Too many questions
The drum shells are made of cast trash cans. custom set.
Danny plays Sonor drums
The Pot or as the saying goes, the best Tool song is the last Tool song you heard. #ToolRules #subbed
This has to be one of the most difficult drum songs technically that Danny Carey plays. It sounds more simple than some other songs, but just listen to the rhythms and off beats, and technicality…not an easy song of ran drummer.
Danny plays Sonor drums...
Idk if you have already I haven't had the chance to check out all your vids but if not check out Alex rudinger xenochrist drum playthrough..... unbelievable is all imma say
Danny Yeahhhh
