I questioned him about the tax and he said no issues they come in from Brunei and they are not checked for tax. I seem to recall when I lived there that the police finally did a crackdown and had confiscated 100's of super cars where no duty was paid.
Yeah, I believe it was about 45 years ago when they made importing secondhand cars illegal. As for the taxes, people are still bringing in some very unique cars. Where there is a will, and a ton of money, there is a way. 😎
Hi Serg, an AMG G63 wagon in Singapore 🇸🇬 costs about USD$698,000 and the annual road tax is USD$2,900. Car price w/o insurance. You can own it for 10yrs with the COE (Certificate of Entitlement) 😅
Yah that’s insane. I love cars and this is the first time since I was 16 that I haven’t owned a car. However, living in the center of Bangkok, I see very little use for owning one.
Yes, the GT four RS was my favorite as well. I was expecting to see some more Lamborghinis and Ferraris, I guess I’ll have to go over to Icon Siam for some really expensive supercars.
I remember 10 Years ago asking at the Mercedes Cafe (used to be in Emporium) and told there was only 1 Newer G Wagon in all of Thailand. Now going for a Walk on a Friday or Saturday on Sukhumvit and seeing 3 or 4 in a 15 minute span. Things have changed.

Celebrating their 30 years in Thailand Porsche just released a Thailand only color scheme representing the seven 7 days of the week, as each day has it’s unique color here in Thailand
Take a look closely at these cars' license plate. Not only the "high so" (super wealthy Thai people) collect expensive exotic cars, they also bid for unique license plate number. Some of these license plates can go as high has millions of baht.
Porshe are quite more common because there was official importer (AAS Thailand) unlike other grey market import, Also there was official Lamborghini at Viphavadi road (Opposite TTB Headquarter) too.
@@LifewithSerg Not just supercars, but any exotic cars are absurdly expensive. For instance, a Maybach in Thailand can cost over $545,000, and some Japanese imports are similarly pricey.
Mate I love the massive amount of high end cars there, look under my local shopping centres here you might get a Honda Integra or a rusty Hyundai Excel ha ha
Or just buy any 600cc+ bike for less than 200k baht and get the same treatment in most malls. I ride a "big bike" in Bangkok, it serves its purpose just like any other bike but I get to park in very convenient places. In places like the The Nine Center, big bikes can park right in front of the entrance; no other vehicle gets that treatment, not even a 50 mil baht Rolls Royce.
Man, that Nissan Juke next to the green Porsche and the other one next to G wagon must feel so special to be parked at the same spot as "supercars". And yea, I'll definitely take Ferrari over Lambo any day of the week, no doubt about that.

I think road in Thailand not too bad, mostly good road. For supercar they mostly drive in the city and use another car which bigger and enough for family member to go trip around Thailand (one family have many cars)
There are countries that have worse roads, of course. But the roads in Thailand are very bad. Once you go to any Western country, you’ll completely understand what I mean. Not only is the overall construction, very poor, but the engineering is downright dangerous.
I guess my 2 dr 1959 Cadillac Coupe-De-Ville would not be allowed in Thailand today. I'm sure the left hand drive would be outlawed there too. It's not something I would want to do anyhow,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Bangkok is the last place a supercar has value. If you want the easiest access to malls, use a taxi. And if you want to drive and have fun, that's not going to happen in Bangkok. Use a taxi (or if you're a daredevil, a motorbike taxi). Supercars there are just for people with nothing more exciting or flashy to spend their money on.
Hello Serg, I suspect that the cars are parked like that to save people unable to afford repair bills from accidents. Imagine a mid level office worker crashing into a Ferrari in Bangkok or anywhere. Also, Bangkok is cramped. These malls probably offers car parking as a perk and secure from accidental damage. I doubt anyone buys a supercar just cos of free mall parking.
I almost bought a C63 AMG in the US. A used one. Ended up getting a two-year-old BMW M240i xDrive. I would still love to get myself a C63. Actually, I would love to have any of the performance wagons from BMW, Mercedes, or Audi.
It’s amazing how rich their owners have to be in order for afford cars like this especially with the insane markups. Then while you’re walking around the mall you would never know if you’ve bumped into their owners or even dined next to them at the food court.
Using different cars that brands do not call inequality but taste. Many people have the money to buy a luxury car but they don't buy it because it's not their taste and style.
Hello, the real reason is not due to car park in Shopping mall! Real reason is most are rich and like all rich people globally will get preferential treatment. Some of those wealth legit some well. I live in East Asia and drive a small sport car. Anytime i pull out anywhere, the car goes straight in front be it restaurant or whatnot. Our shopping malls dont have dedicated supercar spot but only cos people in this part of Asia will be protesting and wanting to harm themselves. You have to agree the cars parked together like that lend some sheen to the car park. That is also part of the reasoning. I know some of these thais with some of these cars. Shopping mall car park is last thing on their minds!
You are taking the title of this video way too literal. There’s something called “creative license” not everything is black and white. I’m well aware that people did not buy an expensive car like this just to get a good spot at the shopping mall. It’s just a perk that is offered to people with expensive cars.
the traffic is bangkok is so dreadful, and you have motorcycle swirling everywhere. if i have a supercar, no way i would drive them on the regular basis in bangkok. traffic is way too bad and you have high risk of getting a ding. i guess if you're worth billions then you don't care lol.
Yes, I simply don’t understand why anyone would buy a Lamborghini or a Ferrari here in Bangkok, or actually Thailand in general. I think it’s more to use it as a status symbol. There’s no way you could drive any of those cars anywhere near their potential out on public roads.
If you are a mafia and taking rent money from thousands of street vendors while obstructing the sidewalks compelling people to walk on the road smelling the stench from rotten food waste, then what would you spend your free money on?
Thailand isn’t built for super car it’s just a waste I would rather have a tank especially when you see how most people drive out there 😂, you should show some of the vans out there they are insane I saw one with just two seats in the back but had a mini bar and a 40 inch tv in the back with a PlayStation hooked up now that’s what you need when you get stuck in traffic 😂.
You are so very much correct about super cars being completely useless here. I have actually ridden in a couple of these vans. If you are a wealthy person here, I think this is truly the way to go. Two big chairs with massage functions, a 40 inch Internet, connect to TV, and no worries or stress while your driver navigate to stop and go traffic
So you might want to get checked for Alzheimer's. You literally repeated yourself 3 times. PS: You guys might not know this, but there is a 200/300% import tax.......
The supercar parking in these malls is not free... Each parking spot is contracted out and the fees run as high as 200,000 baht per year in the higher end malls... Even the smaller malls charge around 80,000 baht per year for a supercar parking spot...

I have been absolutely in love with cars since I was about five years old. I’ve owned dozens and dozens of different cars, and I’ve driven a couple of electric cars. To me, electric cars just don’t have soul. They might be a lot faster, but it still feels like I’m driving an iPhone.
@@LifewithSerg Maybe so, but soul cars are hard to get. New Soul Era. American auto industries struggle because they change to slow, same with german. Driving a Tesla Plaid is lovely after using my brothers car shop as a private garage for 30+ years. All in life change :)
Ever looked into the prices of the license plates ? 🧐
Oh yes. Very expensive.
The purpose of this is to make this type of space easy to maintain security.
Makes sense
That GT4RS 🫦
Oh yes. So sublime!
Yes true, they are very expensive.
I guess my 2 dr 1959 Cadillac Coupe-De-Ville would not be allowed in Thailand today. I'm sure the left hand drive would be outlawed there too. It's not something I would want to do anyhow,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
There’s a few late 50s Cadillacs floating around here. They are pretty bad ass.
In Bangladesh 75%-800% Import Duty 😢😢😢.
Wow! Crazy
OMG! 800% WHATTT!!
Doesn't matter what car you have, you always get good free parking in the malls in Bangkok
Very true.
My wife and I "accidentally" ran into this mall on a walk from bang sue station...Matt
That would be about a 2 hour walk Matt!
wow so many nice cars
Oh yeah!
Well, I agree that super cars are pretty much useless here, you will always have people who love them and want to have one.
Hello Serg,
I suspect that the cars are parked like that to save people unable to afford repair bills from accidents. Imagine a mid level office worker crashing into a Ferrari in Bangkok or anywhere.
Also, Bangkok is cramped. These malls probably offers car parking as a perk and secure from accidental damage. I doubt anyone buys a supercar just cos of free mall parking.
Of course nobody buys the cars just to go park them in the mall. 😂
I'd like a G 63 AMG, with a Simpsons viynl Wrap!
I almost bought a C63 AMG in the US. A used one. Ended up getting a two-year-old BMW M240i xDrive. I would still love to get myself a C63. Actually, I would love to have any of the performance wagons from BMW, Mercedes, or Audi.
Lamboghinie aventador in thailand 1.5 -1.8 $
Yes. NOT worth it in my opinion. Totally useless car here as the roads in Thailand are horrible. Just for showing off.
I thought evs were discounted?
Discounted from what?
Lower rate of import duty,Porsche Taycan for example?
They just park there in order you to spend more money . 😂
lol. Yes. 🤣
It’s simple: Because they can.
Yeah that’s good enough as well.
considering the traffic and the way people drive the body shops must make bank keeping those cars looking good.
I agree. I just don’t understand the logic of owning a supercar in this country. The G wagon, that does make sense.
I can't drive car. I go everywhere by public transport.Problem solved.
Me too!
…and a lot of money saved
Nahh in thailand you drive a truck V8 or Jeep wrangler with their bad roads and raining flood 😊 all days
I agree 1000%!
It’s amazing how rich their owners have to be in order for afford cars like this especially with the insane markups.
Then while you’re walking around the mall you would never know if you’ve bumped into their owners or even dined next to them at the food court.
Yeah, the wealth gap here is insane
Using different cars that brands do not call inequality but taste. Many people have the money to buy a luxury car but they don't buy it because it's not their taste and style.
Supercar thailand tax 270%-390%
Yep. Insane.
Because he has million$10,000 and one million is just a fraction.
So true.
the traffic is bangkok is so dreadful, and you have motorcycle swirling everywhere.
if i have a supercar, no way i would drive them on the regular basis in bangkok.
traffic is way too bad and you have high risk of getting a ding.
i guess if you're worth billions then you don't care lol.
Yes, I simply don’t understand why anyone would buy a Lamborghini or a Ferrari here in Bangkok, or actually Thailand in general. I think it’s more to use it as a status symbol. There’s no way you could drive any of those cars anywhere near their potential out on public roads.
@@LifewithSerg exactly! not to mention the flood!
Luxury car tax 300% and License plates around 100k - 1m $
Yes so expensive!
Porsche is the most super car in Thailand.
It’s my favorite as well.
If you are a mafia and taking rent money from thousands of street vendors while obstructing the sidewalks compelling people to walk on the road smelling the stench from rotten food waste, then what would you spend your free money on?
I don’t know the answer to that question. Thanks for watching.
08:10 💙💙
So nice.
Some of the license plates are More expensive than the price of the car.
Yes, I noticed!
Nice video, but assuming people only buy supercars for supercar parkings is honestly a bit foolish of you. I'll "assume" you were just joking.
LMFAO. Of course they don’t buy them just for the parking spots. I’m sorry my sarcasm was overlooked. 👍😊🙃
👍 👍 👍
😊👍❤️
300% import tax. 😂
It’s crazy.
🙁🙁
Hmmm 🤔
So you might want to get checked for Alzheimer's. You literally repeated yourself 3 times.
PS: You guys might not know this, but there is a 200/300% import tax.......
Hey did you know that there is a 200-300% import tax. Not sure I mentioned it.
Like looking at them, would not buy!
The supercar parking in these malls is not free... Each parking spot is contracted out and the fees run as high as 200,000 baht per year in the higher end malls... Even the smaller malls charge around 80,000 baht per year for a supercar parking spot...
I was not aware of this. Thanks.
The owners of these cars may be the owners of the businesses in this mall where they drive to work. run his business
Maybe.
I think that maybe the case as I have seen the same cars in the same parking space over a period of of several months.
