Your Grand Parent in-laws are a reflection of a better world, respectful, humble and modest, reminds me of my father, would wear a suit and tie just to go to the shops. When this generation finally departs the world will be a poorer place without them.

73 to 79 fords were always the go-to for me. I’ve had probably 40 of them over the years. I didn’t always drive them, but when it came to farming I may have had 4 or 5 in the field at any given time. You just couldn’t kill them. Later on I found that you could always trade one for any other vehicle because everybody else wanted one as much as I did.

Man Dylan, this video hit close to home for me. In January of 2020 we lost our Papa at age 93. In May of 2020, I was able to purchase his triple blue, all original 68,000 mile 1981 Chevrolet Silverado. Since then we have restored it back to its formal glory, headache rack and all. Grandma was able to see it afterwards and she passed shortly after. They are both with our LORD and Savior forever. What you've done here for your wife's family is straight up awesome. God bless you brother. The truck looks great! Ephesians 2:8

Man, I just finished the video. I'd forgotten I had to stop about a third of the way through. What a fantastic truck. I immediately got online and ordered a few parts for my 1973 highboy. Needs some U-joints and I'm just gonna give it a little extra love. What a great family. I don't know what it is about these old Ford's but they really become part of the family. Like I said my dad and my grandpa had em and some of my best memories are in those trucks. I was brought home from the hospital when I was born in my grandpa's 77. Mom, grandpa and I rode up front and dad and grandma sat in the bed.

My dad had a 77 or 78 F-150 red and white paint with an all red interior. Your pov of driving brought me back to being 4 or 5 sitting on my dads lap driving up and down the gravel driveway. He died back in 95. I miss them and that truck. My brother and I are always looking for a truck like our dad’s.

I got the 78 f150 ranger when I was 13 and me and my dad restored it with a built 429 and we painted it hemi orange and it looked sharp because I had all the original chrome, it took 3 years to restore just in time for my driver's license. I got to dive it 3 months and our garage caught fire and took the truck with it😭 but that was back in the late 90s and the one thing that I still have is the knowledge my dad taught me because he was ap body man/mechanic as a profession and especially the memories 😊

Imo, your best video yet! I'm biased though. I'm a Ford guy, and this truck is the same year as mine! Haven't finished watching yet, but if that temp gauge was at half, that's hot. These trucks typically don't run much past the N in normal. 351Ms have a bad rep. Mainly because they wipe main bearings. Before I swapped in my 460, the M that was in it wasn't a race car by any means. But it had plenty of torque for a worn out and neglected motor. That's a beautiful and sought after truck. Factory ac, race track trim, that's an awesome truck and so glad to see it being preserved!

Beautiful truck, I’ve inherited my grandfathers ‘78 250 that’s been sitting about 20 years being started occasionally but well preserved just as this one so it gets me motivated to get back to it seeing this one. My family inheritance truck came with the same 351m sludge maker that did what 351m’s did and got tired early in life. Unfortunately of the 351’s the 351m was a terrible engine, when he said this one was rebuilt it makes perfect sense as to why. Fantastic truck and thanks for the motivation.

We got a 77 f250 my grandpa bought with my uncle back in 82. My grandpa really wanted to see me drive it one more time before he passes but his mind has left before that could happen. I’ve put time into the truck and my grandpa doesn’t want me messing with it anymore. We got it running in the fall of 2020. I was so happy to finally hear it run. I probably would’ve drove it that same week but it lost all power going to the key and dash. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I might be able to drive it before I take all the parts I’ve put on it off as it’ll probably end up in a junk yard or in the hands of somebody else.
The other day I seen a survivor 77 f150 or f250. Beautiful truck. Dark red with red matching wheels.
You can see some videos on my UA-cam channel of my grandpa’s truck an what it looks like now. Great video and I appreciate it very much. 🇺🇸
