    I love Chiapas! Been there twice and would love to return to see Palenque. We visited a ranch about a 45 minute drive from San Cristobal and rode horses in the country. It was a beautifu; experience.

    Saludos desde Ithaca, NY, EEUU! Chiapas is probably my favorite state of Mexico....along with Oaxaca and Yucatán. I'm glad you mentioned that you just touched the surface regarding the richness of Chiapas. It would be impossible to do the state justice in just a half hour. Not in the video but certainly worth visiting: Palenque, San Cristóbal(been there 5 or 6 times), Comitán(a great base for visiting El Chiflón, Lagos de Montebello and the Maya site Tenam Puente), Toniná, Cascadas Roberto Barrios and Agua Azul. Don't miss the coffee either!!!! Me encanta Chiapas y por supuesto vuelvo a visitarlo otra vez!

    I visited chiapas in October 1993. Needless to say my year in Mexico was incredibly interesting. I arrived in Mexico from New Zealand knowing nothing and left with a 30+ year passion for the country. I've been back several times, but not back to Chiapas. Now I'm planning to spend some if my old age there, and your videos on San Cris and the state have pretty much convinced me it's the place I want to be. Many, many thanks, Janet

    Keep doing this important work. As time goes by this Chanel will grow. There are many Americans that can't live in the U.S. on their social security and are looking for other options. My wife is from San Luis Potosí and we have traveled all over Mexico. I have been saying to everyone for over 30 yrs how great Mexico is. Now is when it's starting to catch on. Personally I want to spend two years going from Airbnb to Airbnb and tour all of Mexico when I retire.

    Hi Mariana! My wife and I are considering taking a year off away from home and family to travel Mexico. My family moved to the USA when I was 5 and my wife when she was 17. We were both born in Mexico so you can say we have dual citizenship? Most of your videos talk about how to get temporary or permanent residency. What about dual citizenship? Where do we begin to explore the required documentation for this? All we have right now is our respective birth certificates from Mexico.

    • @MexicoRelocationGuide
      @MexicoRelocationGuide  Рік тому +1

    How is it possible to spin Tuxtla into a nice city? I have lived here for 20 years and it is a smelly and poorly maintained capital of Mexico. Yes Chiapas has many gems of nature but trying to get around can be challenging. Many sellers of crafts are just merchants who buy cheap from the artisans or they take it on consignment. I live in Copoya. You did not mention the tallest monument to Jesus Christ, locate on a bluff overlooking Tuxtla Gutiérrez.
