It’s meant to be paired with a lotion, snail mucin is a humectant so you’re supposed to lock it in.👍

That's a true story: I was once having a picnic with some friends in a park. At some point I just stood up to walk around a little, but then, after moving a few feet away I slipped and fell into the grass, directly into a pile of slugs and snails WITH MY FACE🤢🤮😂😂 I turned around looked at the sky while my face was completely covered in fresh and slimy snail mucin and said: Why of all people did it happen to meee?😭😭 My friends were laughing their heads off and it was so super embarassing but at the same time so super funny. It was only years later that I heard about snail mucin being used as a skincare product😅 So I can consider myself really lucky😂👍🏻 At least in my case it was very natural😅

@@MiaHasDiggles Yea totally!😂😂 I mean in that moment it was sooo disgusting, I almost puked😅. I couldn't even believe what just happened🥴🥴 So I stood up and ran to the closest restaurant to wash it off my face. And I had to walk like 30 minutes or so... it was an unbelievable and unforgettable experience😂 Little did I know back then... If I would have known that it is actually good for our skin, I'd let it dry onto my skin instead of running to the closest bathroom😂😂 Probably someone walked by, saw it and thought: "Ah cool, let's make trend out of this " . And so, the trend was born🤣👍🏻

@@MiaHasDiggles Hahaha oh gosh that would be so awkward if people find out HOW I created it😂 I mean it sounds like some slapstick comedy scene from a comedy movie or something but it was real life🥴😂 I don't know anyone else to whom this or something similar has happened. Sometimes I have the feeling that stuff like that only happens to me🙃😅 But tbh, I would never voluntarily smear this stuff on my face. I mean it's so gross, I got it on my face once, (even if it was not voluntarily😂 plus I was probably the first person on earth), but once is enough for me, so thanks, not again😅

Using snail mucin only once or twice a week, you're not going to notice a difference. You'd need to use it daily to see results. Also, you don't need to use that many pumps, 2 or 3 is enough.

@@MiaHasDiggles Thanks! Also, I like the Andalou Body Butter, but I've never tried it on my face. But I don't think it compares with the Snail Mucin, they're very different products. I'm not sure why it was recommended to you as a substitute.

This is the perfect example of someone who doesnt bother to make any research, but thinks she’s knowledgeable enough to spread “information”. U didn’t used it right, is no animal cruelty (again, do your research), and it’s not a moisturizer. This is a very ignorant review

as you said about doing your research you should check the ingredients in the andalou lotion as it has tons of fragrance which can be problematic in skin care. Check the label, this is not natural at all

I was super super worried about the extraction process as well. My compassion level regarding animals is through the roof almost debilitating at times I cannot even think about or see a living creature such as bugs, animals plants anything of that nature suffer because it literally puts me in a downward spiral so I’m glad you kind of explained it to me. I am as well nervous to even further my investigation because if I see anything bad, it’s gonna haunt me because I bought the product without researching it first so thank you for this review, you’re adorable!

When you think about the ethical side of things, the alternative life for the snail in the wild has it exposed to predators every second of it's life. On a farm, it's protected from predators and environmental hazards. At worst, the snail is bored, but safe. Humane? Even if they screamed at the snail, it's better than being raised for Escargot. It's the BEST POSSIBLE EXISTENCE FOR A SNAIL.
