The Cosrx mucin essence is much thicker than other essences. It's even thick for a serum
I super love cosrx products! I use their goodmorning low ph cleanser, then the aha bha vitamin c daily toner and they've done great on my skin so far. Add this snail mucin essence and my skin started to feel and look smooth even if it was just day 1. Im excited for the days to come. It's a bit pricey yeah but you only need a small amount so a little really goes a long way.. 💗💗

@@khannafeesj4663 As said before.. don't use it often. But the thing is.. the toner is NOT the Real bha treatment. The toner is just a preparation FOR the Bha treatment. It will lower your ph and thats what your skin needs so that the bha can do its job even easier. Bha will make your skin sensitive to light and it will go deep in to your skin. Aha on the other Hand will only make your skin smoother Look better on the SURFACE. It will help you against wrinkles and so on.
Can someone guide me after applying this snail mucin how much time should I wait to apply my another serum or moisturizer? Should I apply immediately or should I wait for 2, 3 minutes then layer it with another products?

big thing is to make sure your face is wet when putting it on!!!! i have a water spray bottle, i spray it so my face is wet, then place my essence on, then spray again and let it all soak in!!! you’re supposed to use it on wet skin or else it will dry you out!!

@@believeinyourself299 humectans draw humidity from surroundings e.g. air, so if you put it on dry skin it can pull moisture from your skin but if you apply in a humid area or on wet skin it will draw humidity back into your skin

This product makes my skin feel dewy and smooth when I run my fingers over my face but have you noticed the fine lines on your skin from it?! I've been using this for 2 months now and I've gotta say that it may makes your skin feels smooth but it also makes your skin LOOK dry at the same time which must be the regeneration of skin cells from the product. So once the product dries off your face you have to go on an extra layer of moisturizer on top of that.
I haven’t noticed fine lines personally! I recently learned that this essence is a humectant. So it’s meant to bring moisture in but will need to be layered with a moisturizing product (like moisturizer) or else it may dry out the skin bc it has nothing to pull the moisture from! Not sure if this is what’s happening for you but thought I’d share what another commenter said! 😊

You're right after using it for few days with hada labo I can say it's kind of drying if I don't use enough moisturizer
I noticed that too! There were fine lines radiating out from my under eye area. My skin felt dry and taut underneath my Shea Butter moisturizer. However, I was using Niacinamide 5% + Hyaluronic Acid 1% at the same time, so I was not sure if snail mucin was causing it. I had to stop using all actives to make those lines go away. Glycerine+Rose water(1:1 ratio) really helped in reducing the fine lines. Hope this helps! Thanks for sharing your experience!

Unfortunately, this product actually dried out my skin very bad. I have oily skin and I never imagined that a product like this could dehydrate my skin. I tried using it on wet skin too and it still didn't work. I've also used hyaluronic acid serum and my usual moisturiser with it. My skin felt very tight after using it, even after the other serums and moisturiser. So i guess, as usual, there is no wonder product for everyone. I gave them to my friend, which has been getting along very well with the product. Now my skin is healthy again after I stopped using it.
The next day after I tried it my boyfriend told me that my skin looks different and so smooth and like it glows. Now it’s part of my everyday skin care, but I use it after a toner. So toner then this essence. Want to try a moisturiser as well

You can use this after the paulas choice. After it soaks into your skin use the essence to moisturize.
I have dry skin combination skin, the cosrx Snail mucin made me breakout, and developed formed tiny bumps all over, so sad that I spent money on it 😢 😢 now I don't mean to deter anyone from using the product this tho just when using it take not how yr skin reacts to it :) I know it sounds like a miracle product but it wouldn't work for everyone:)

@@ChrisAngela94 hey I purchased this product now and I’m only using cleanser to wash face and then I apply snail mucin as moisturiser I didn’t use any other products along with it and so far my dehydrated skin looks good no breakouts yet will let you know after a month again! Maybe try without other products..
@@SA-ll9jd the reason I tried this product is to fade my scars, the SPF I'm using now is doing a fantastic job at it, u also use hada labo toner so I have enough hydration, I'm not new to skincare guess snail mucin is just not suitable for me, but good to hear that it's working for u tho.

I would say put it on when is not freshly tacky i wait maybe like 15 or 20 seconds let it seep in a little to where i feel it on the skin but not like is fresh out the bottle and apply moisturizer

It caused me redness and darken my complexion. I then incorporate axis y serum between essence and snail moisturizer and it made a difference.

Hi! This product can aid in fading dark spots, but I would use it in conjunction with something like niacinamide! The Ordinary has one that's great. Also, I'd recommend Curology! I'm currently using a custom formula for my hyperpigmentation. If you want more info, I talked about it in my No Makeup Makeup video 😊
Oh, and the Inkey List! They have a niacinamide that's good.

Idk what’s happening but my skin feels dry after applying the essence even with moisturizer i can feel small dry patches I’m slowly starting to belive that I probably have more dry skin now than oily
I'm not an expert but the same thing happens to me and we have a similar routine I think it's the cleanser it my be to stripping because now my skin is completely dry maybe try the la roche-posay moisturizing cleanser and see if there's a difference.
When must we use the essence
What would you put first? The essence or a toner? I just got this but idek if it it okay use both toner and essence at the same time
a toner might be too drying, but if you do it, use toner first, let it sink in, then spray over or dampen your face with water then place the essence on, the essence is a humectant and needs water to work properly or else it’ll dry you out!!

You can layer them! Snail essence is a humectant which has healing properties. So it's great to use with strong or drying ingredients.

Hi seeing this a year later but I have a question!!! I have redness sensitive skin that reacts really easily. My current skincare routine is vanicream gentle cleanser which I follow with Clinique 100 hour moisture surge on DAMP skin. I want to incorporate this into my routine, but if I apply it before my moisturizer then my skin won’t be damp for my moisturizer. Do u think that would be okay?
Hi I have the same issue. No matter what serum oil cream is use makes my skin red and sometimes give acne if it is even slightly oil based. Can u recommend what moisturizer I use or this corsx essence will work.

Can anyone tell me whether they changed the packaging recently or not...I bought mine 1 week ago and it's expiry date is 2023. The bottle and the box are the same as previous but some of the details are slightly changed. Just a suggestion, try eleminating some products in yr routine that might be reducing the effectiveness, cos I used to use soap bar for my face then I would use a good moisturizer, but I was wondering why the moisturizer isn't working then I stopped using the soap, realised that was the problem (it was drying out my skin)
@@Yikwai1999 sounds like you’re using a lot of actives...maybe switch out the aha/bha toner every few days with a more hydrating toner
Hey! My skin became irritated and I had more acne. 4 month later I decided to put Paula Choice BHA before the mucin and it works winderfully. It does not itritate my skin because the first product is a bit hydrating) i am seeing real results, less inflamed acne (before that I have tried Paulas Choice bha for 4 month before incorporing the snail mucin too)

Not sure about the BHA power liquid but I use it with their AHA/BHA clarifying treatment toner and it works wonderfully

I dont think this is going to be enough to moisturize, you're probably going to need a moisturizer
I've used it before on its own and it was fine for me. I think if you pair it with another hydrating ingredient then it would be fine (like a hydrating serum or something)

Not enough slip in my opinion. It dries down too quickly. I wouldn’t be afraid of a facial oil! Try a lighter viscosity and then you can always wash it off afterwards. But facial oils make a huge difference in my skin even though I’m now combo/oily

what she said, it’s slick but dries down quite quickly, def recommend using some shea butter or rosehip oil (ordinary has one) for gua sha! these oils both provide many benefits as well :) just make sure to wash off oil in the morning if doing at night!

I do this routine for almost 3 weeks now (with Corsx products bought from Iherb since I live in france and korean products are very rare here ) :low PH good morning cleansing gel+AHA/BHA clarifying treatment toner+advanced snail96 mucin power essence+advanced snail92 all in one cream ,and the issue is that I don't feel that my skin is hydrated but more dry and like I've put something heavy on my skin ,I don't feel any improvement I don't know if the problem is from the products or from my skin.I was so excited when I bought these products since I heard a lot of good things about them .Can someone tell me if he experienced something like this ?? Or know what the problem is ?

I’m not sure! I’m not familiar with centella asiatics. My first instinct is to say yes since the snail mucin essence is just a humectant and no active ingredients. But hopefully someone in the comments can jump in!

I was so so excited about this product - unfortunately, I think its not working for my skin :( it dries my skin and I feel no difference at all. I have been using it for almost 15 days.... For anyone wondering my skincare routine is AM: Gentle cleanser, toner mist, essence, vitamin c serum, eye balm, ceramide and HA moisturizer, and hydrating sunscreen .. PM: it is the same, I swap Vit C with niacinamide - 1-2 times a week use Cosrx BHA liquid
@Sangini Kaul Hey, Try changing your AM routine to just cleanser, snail mucin, moisturizer, sunscreen. Try exfoliating once in 10 days. Might work this way

when using this product you need to make sure your face is wet or damp! i use a water spray bottle n spray my face then apply the essence, let it sink in a bit, then spray water again just to make sure it gets all soaked up! this product is a humectant, if you don’t have a damp face before applying it will dry your skin out!

If it’s this product (the essence) then no. Only thing I’m aware of in this line that needs to be rinsed off is the cleanser
