I really like this theme, and I'm not too fond of Eastern Wind. I guess I'm in the minority here. XD Eastern Wind is okay, but it's a bit repetitive, and it's a more generic theme. Hakurei Shrine Grounds is more interesting, in my opinion.

Eastern wind, as much as i love it, i need to admit i find it quite repetitive, sure it fits, but its just its a calm sound before the storm, thats it. But hey, you called sunfall repetitive so...
God, this could easily be my favourite PC-98 track, but there's the Strawberry Crisis... Second favourite! IMO, it outshines original Stage 1 theme by 1000 points.

There's potential, but maybe he could have made the song main part a little bit earlier. Its a shame Touhou doesnt use introductory cutscenes or something of the like, this is quite the space for that song.
would love to see an arrange of this theme; it's not awful, but in its current state it's... lacking something. i don't know, i feel a more intense modern mix would be suitable for like, a phantasm stage or something

theres a total of 14 unused themes in the pc98 era.
with all those, zun could have made a 6th pc98 game the same size as SoEW -an extra stage.
