@@cyntanykia yes there are I have seen several before I ran across this very nice woman. And I'm happy for that. And I'm very glad that this lady was so classy and quiet and to-the-point without all the hoopla and attention-seeking and trying to be funny and loud and all that
Listen, I’m a single mom of 3, homeschooling my youngest, taking online classes and working😩 I’m on day 55 and it has been a struggle but I’m not giving up. I refuse to stop now. My birthday is next week and I plan to eat salad or something lol but thank you for putting me on to the program!! Best decision eveaaa
Dayna is SO accurate when it comes to the water consumption aspect - start EARLY. I do my outside walk at 4.00am for an hour then as soon as I get home I start drinking, and try and drink two-thirds of a gallon before Noon (that way, you're not peeing through the night).
Nice! Day 48 and the only problem that I am experiencing is staying away from CHIPS, which I have done successfully. For my healthy eating, I choose to stay away from junk/fried food and keep my calories below 1900 per day. I thought that the water would be an issue and now I feel I have to have the gallon per day just to feel great! If you do this challenge. I recommend reading, "The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer." This book was so good that after I read my second book, "12 Rules for Life by Jordan B. Peterson" I had to read Mr. Singer's book again! "Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins" is fantastic too! At first, this challenge would appear difficult. Take a piece of paper and writer down all the rules and things that are NOT allowed. Go through the check list first thing in the morning, before you go to bed and make sure you have completed your daily challenges. Just look at the challenge, daily and make sure you get everything done for that day. If you try to look at the finish line. You will drive yourself crazy. The purpose of the challenge to create a strong(er) mental state and develop strong/healthy habits. Stay hard, Y'all!
I also listened to the podcast and then started the next day. I watched a few vids about it and wasn't completely motivated but listening to him and his reasoning behind the program gave me the push. Also to realize that he lives the same city as me felt like it was a sign. Thanks for posting your experience.
Its the "I look amazing " for me. Ypu do sis..and great video. I have a date to start this and my advice is to research and start some habits before. Ive already upped my water and started follwing a schedule of gettong out to walk and workout. I dont want it to be a complete shock
I just started 75Hard and failed already. Yesterday was my second day and I woke up with a migraine. LOL! 75Hard doesn't provide for sickness or illness of any kind. But, I started over again today. I STILL have a headache, but I choose easier workouts today. I am doing some Tai chi! I LOVE that book!!! Gillian actually had a tv show in England based on her book. She helped SOOOO many families get healthier!
Congratulations on your success. I've been hearing a lot about 75 hard and this video was a great detailed explanation, plus your personality was a plus. Keep up the excellent work 👊❤️
This is so cool to watch! I'm on day 11 and I do notice a little change. I takes a lot of planning and you have not only inspired me to stick with it, but also to make a video once I'm done.
I started this as soon as I got clearance from my doctor after a 3 month recovery from surgery where I wasn’t allowed to exercise my legs and was on bed rest then crutches. I’m super weak from the lack of exercise and gained a lot of weight, but I’m on day 8 and I’ve been finding great chair work outs, yoga, and light walking, and it is really helping me get my strength back and get back into my healthy habits! Thanks for your tips!
Tha k you SO MUCH for saying that this probably isn’t for a SAHP that doesn’t have consistent help!! I was getting so down on myself that this challenge was out of my reach and I wasn’t even going to try. But it’s okay. This isn’t my season for that. I might try the 75 soft instead.
Ahhh Dayna! So inspired! You’re so right, after day 10, I felt so light and airy! I’m not super active on IG and I randomly got on the app the very same day you started talking about 75 hard. I listened to the podcast and started the next day. Unfortunately, I started listening to that “weak voice in my mind” and fell off but I’m so encouraged to see that you finished it. Thank you for being such a light and for sharing your journey/tips! Also, might I add that this video was wonderfully edited! Your whole business and social media presence is truly aspirational❤️
I needed to see YOU post a video like this because we relate to people that look like us, that's just human nature. I'm inspired. I'll leave it there because I'm tired of talking...time for action. Thank you for this video!
You’ve inspired me to try the 75 Hard program. I’ve gained about 20 lbs in the past few years and this sounds like something that might work to help me lose it!
Thanks for sharing your experience! I am on day 20. I had to adjust water intake as a gallon was too much for my body. I was feeling physical ill. After some research learned too much water can disrupt yor electrolytes so i am now drinking the recommended amount for my bodyweight. It has been very hard. I am already questioning my why so cudos ro you!
No alcohol.... looks 75 days ahead... leaves the chat. Lol. All jokes aside this is great and I'm sure u put in alot of mental work to persevere. Good job.
I'm watching all these videos and feeling so inspired for 75 hard. I like the idea of finding your why, like I know in previous diets or challenges I focused too hard on wanting to be fit to look good for others, and it always was about how other people viewed me. I don't want that this time around, I was to push myself just for me.
Great video. I like your honesty. The full scripted challenge rules are not for everyone, and you need to remember your why. I will be doing a modified version. 1-I would rather measure progress by trying on an old pair of pants. 2- more water, but not a gallon. 3- not always , 2x/day & outside. Baby steps😊
Yess thank you for this video!! 🙌🏽 First time here , new sub. Watching more of your content and I can’t wait to see what you’ve got coming next! Please shout out the creators you followed for workouts in IG and UA-cam!!
I'm fairly certain I have time for the workouts and I need to read more anyway. Its what constitutes as a cheat meal that confuses me. He said not one chocolate chip or a single bite of fast food. Fair enough, but what else fits into that category? I'm vegan and there's a lot of store bought mock meats and cheeses. Are those ok? What about those protein bars and cookies they sell in the pharmacy store? What about sauces and salad dressings? Protein pastas made just from beans? What do you think? Do those fall into the same category as fast food?
I’m on Day 4- my starting weight and goal weight is the same as you. :) im doing this to make sure that I keep the promises that I make to myself. Thank you for the inspiration and great tips!
I'm contemplating starting but my 95% goal is to lose weight (you advised to just do a weight loss program if that was your whole intent) but I feel that something like this will give me the accountability I need to keep going. I also foresee that eating doing this will transform my MENTAL endurance back to what it uses to be. I USED to be able to set my mind on doing xyz and it was nothing to do it!! Now, ugghh... I almost stop before I start lol. So while I'll be solely / mostly looking for weight loss, from watching different folks videos, I think I'll gain so much more.
I am very interested in doing this I have tried to start once before didn't have the motivation. I'm 60 years old aches and pains stopped me and my own negative thinking that I couldn't do it and yes I have about 20 pounds to lose how used to be 218 and went down to 128 back up to 160 and am now 1:40 ish. But it isn't just for that it is to keep myself motivated and on track for many other things. To form habits to develop a better self-esteem. To know that I can complete something like this you have worked out my whole life once I lost all that weight. A car accident major depression and several other very personal things have happened to me over the years just digging myself out and I think I'm about there and I think this would be wonderful I can do it. My question to you is would you do it again? I have listened to other podcast and watched videos and a lot of people say no they would not do it again. And most of those were people who have done it for weight loss period And I think that if that's all they're doing it for and then they stop and don't want to do it again that maybe they will gain it back. I know how to lose my weight I'm just not as consistent as I should be. But I think this will help me to learn consistency habit-forming again in many aspects of my life. I'm a grandma and my grandchildren are moving away to another state in a couple of months and my other grandchild is already halfway across the country. I think doing this will help me tremendously in my life to learn to live constructive life again my health improves and my confidence improves and I get out there and meet people and make friends and my family won't be around unless I go to visit them or they come to visit me. I know I'm talking a lot and I'm very sorry it's part of my illness
I’m starting 75 hard soon. I go to the gym 6-7 times a week for 60 minutes and have training (also inside) 5 times a week so on the days I have both that’s 120mins of exercise alright, would I have to do 45mins outside as well or if I did 30mins outside on those days (150mins exercise total) would that be allowed? I’m a student so spending almost 3hrs exercising a day during my January exams isn’t very practical
Unfortunately, one workout has to be outside and the workouts can’t be consecutive - they have to be at least a couple hours a part (according to Andy). This challenge is supposed to be difficult and the idea is that most people won’t be able to finish it for various reasons. If you decided to alter the challenge, it wouldn’t be 75 Hard anymore, it would be 75 Isobel ( which if that’s what you want to do, go for it! Having a set goal and working on it is awesome! Just wouldn’t be this challenge if you change anything according to the creator of it) :)
Thank you so much for the inspirational video and all the helpful tips! I‘m currently on day 22. :) Also, I can only recommend going vegan. I went vegan 5 years ago for the animals and I’m integrating more whole foods for my health now. It was honestly one of the best decisions of my entire life because I know that I’m not doing harm to animals for my food choices. 💚
