No problem! Yes sure, in the works for 2024! Much more content to come
Excellent video. Exactly what I needed for one of my clients.
All your videos are awesome !!! How important is spacing, without it, you pull off the ball when trying to accelerate as elbow crashes into your side abs, great drills !!!
Thank you for the kind words! 😊
Very insightful indeed!
Smooth!
There’s research stating that the FH angle of your arm to body is 54 degrees for maximum force applied to the ball.
I just imagine that there is medicine ball under my armpit when i make contact with the ball. Makes a huge difference in the stroke.
Yes agreed, if you look at my other videos I have posted the angles pro. A brilliant device for the forehand technique
Great drills, thanx
No problem 😊
Excellent exercises for practicing spacing.
Glad you like them!
Great job Dylan! Very helpful tips!
Great to hear that! 😊
Great tips!
Thank you
Very good mate!
Thank you
Thank you exactly what I needed after being called I was like a T-Rex on my forehands 😂; and probably a reason for the lack of power on my forehands causing me to return short balls to my opponent … then dealing with the fallout of being attacked/finished off 😅
Haha oh yes! Hope it helps you out
excellent
Thank you!
Good lesson. One of the biggest problems I see on court.
Thank you
Great drills Dylan. Most coaches teach catch the ball but you pointed out contact needs to be further away from it. Good stuff👍🙏🎾
Thank you for the comment! Yes this is very important
I’ve always wondered about the catch with off arm exercise for forehand where coaches don’t make it clear that isn’t the contact point since the racquet is longer. Doing that you’ll get jammed. Now in your drill following is your hand still parallel before hitting or are you still reaching out towards the ball? The whole point towards the ball when I play feels as if my body is disconnected and I make mistakes here and there. Thanks
Hi can you explain this if you have time? Appreciated!
The off arm extension is a way to imagine the spacing for the forehand. Contact point wants to be to the side and in front of the body. This is not perfect but provides a good guide for spacing.
Nice video. What are the yellow strings in your Pure Drive. And also what helped you to decide not to use a dampener? Many thanks.
Thank you!
@toroline strings caviar, I generally do use a dampener but for this video I did not have one aha
Thanks for the speedy reply. I am forever removing my dampener and putting it back again.
When i drop the ball and catch with my non dom hand my raquete is very close to body and no where near where is should be
Short arms not helping
How would the hoop exercise work if one's partner is unable to get the ball inside the hoop?😢
Practicing the shadowing motion or drop feeling yourself. You can train the spacing yourself but even better with a partner
