That Art Of Noise LP has some great cuts. Got “Legs” and “Peter Gun” on 45. I think that Paul Young 12” is a promo. There are two different jacket art for that 12” release in the US. Congrats on the scores.

Hey Phil... been a long time, my friend. Hope you are doing well. That's awesome that you have those (2) Art of Noise jams on 45 - which I'm sure are in fantastic condition and probably a Promo knowing your elite and extensive collection. You are absolutely correct on the Paul Young 12" single - a Promo indeed; again, you know your stuff!
Appreciate the comment, Phil. Love your dedication to the jams; hope to make another trip to the Record Store to uncover some of those hidden treasures. Stay safe!

Amazing video as always :) With Sympathy is a hidden gem, Ministry are great no matter whether they're doing synthpop, industrial or metal. World Destruction is an iconic tune too, definitely jealous of this collection!

Hey Jack! Hope you're doing well. I feel like I'm always discovering new music when it's actually older (mostly early to mid 80's). The entire Side 1 of Ministry's "With Sympathy" is practically genius and such quality material from a New Wave perspective. It really surprised me!
Your comment just makes me want to play on my Ministry stuff and record... it flows so well. Yes, World Destruction was playing in the teen clubs back in the day before I heard it on the radio. Side B is actually better with the samples. Appreciate you coming aboard my channel; I've been wanting to post this video for a while. So happy there were so many gems I've been wanting for years. Please stay tuned for more!

You always show some great vinyl. I had the cure mixed up on cd- never had listened to it until tonight. It is good.

That's awesome to hear; thank you very much! The Cure CD is also on my Discogs Want List which I'm sure it will be in my collection one day. I was surprised by the 12" remixes on standard iconic Cure jams; it was spiced up just right to love their material even more. Keep enjoying the Cure stuff (especially the best CD). Stay tuned for more videos coming soon!

So many great finds! And so glad you found the Real Life records. I agree with you, the album versions are the best ones. I recently found Catch Me I’m Falling for a good price on Discogs, and the extended mix is good, but the album version really is the one. The Suburbia single is a huge favorite of mine (Pet Shop Boys were my #1 group from 86-90) and Paninaro and Jack the Lad are two of their best b-sides. The Full Horror Mix of Suburbia is incredible too. When you lifted up the Siouxsie 12 of The Passenger I almost yelled, what a find! I hope to come across it one day. Your record shop really has gems, and in such great condition. Hope all is well with you! Rob

Hi Rob. Thanks for coming aboard my channel with your great comment. I was luck with some sellers accepting my offers and saving me money on shipping. It makes a big difference on the quantity and the quality of records you can receive in (1) package.
I'll have to check out "Catch Me I'm Falling" on 12" - enjoy the LP version, but I'm sure the 12" may be even better. The Suburbia single was still fetching a little higher than other PSB's records, but I was so happy to finally score this (especially in NM condition). All my vinyl are not always NM as sellers state, but pretty close and acceptable. A great track indeed!
"The Passenger" by Siouxsie and the Banshees in the record store was totally unexpected. It's funny that it so happen to be on my Discogs want list. It was in amazing condition and just could not pass it up; just sheer luck of digging through those record bins and pulling out a "collectable" like this one.
      Stay well and stay tuned!

I love the Ministry 12 inches. I have all of them from their first album and the Wax Trax singles as well. Thank you for posting another dope video on your finds. I enjoy every second of your videos. Cheer's 🍻

Papa, you are very welcome! Congrats on your Ministry collection; any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'm not familiar with their really early stuff... think the group started around '81. I don't have the "Twitch" LP but I need to get it; only have the cassette tape of the 12" remixes which is still in nice condition after all these years. Stay tuned for more videos as I make my way to the Record Store again; I can hardly wait! Cheers!

@@klassicjam get the Stigmata and Burning Inside 12 inches by Ministry. Also, check out a band called The XX, out of England. They have 3 albums out, and all 3 are good. Let me know what you think of The XX. Cheers!

Hi Marc, I really appreciate the comment. I'm sure you know how difficult it can be to collect records like these in the New Wave and Synth-pop realm. It's surprising that to me by taking a risk at the record store sometimes pays off rather than sticking with Discogs. I like that some sellers do not look at Discogs to stamp "their" prices on the vinyl when it's high. I just know when some prices could be 50% off to even move inventory. I want to wish you good luck on the Record Store Day sale!

Hi Shad, I really appreciate it. It was a rare occasion that my wife let me loose with selecting several pieces of vinyl from my Want List. An extra bonus at the record store for sure. It's so addicting... just like treasure hunting. Thanks again for watching!

Xymox! Great stuff, got to see them last year. I regret selling my copy of Heartland, and funny enough I used to have that same exact gold stamped version. Congrats on that PiL single, I’ve got most of their LPs and am hunting for the singles now. I wanna get into Art Of Noise, I really couldn’t vibe with it when I was younger but I’ve come around to a lot of artists this year so maybe they’ll be the next one. An OG With Sympathy is a grail for me, I spent so many years seeing it in cheap bins and I foolishly never picked it up. It shot up in price so quickly. I think that Heaven 17 album is a compilation of singles for the US market. I see PSB singles a lot but never that one. Hunting hard for the Pop Goes The World LP too.

Hello again, my friend. I watch your videos all the time - no matter what the genre or material. It's always entertaining and very informative. You are well beyond your youth with so much knowledge about music and vinyl in general.
Xymox is definitely unique - a pioneer of their own sound. I'm sure their show was unforgettable (hope they played their iconic material). The Heartland LP in the record store was by chance only; there were actually (2) copies but of course I chose the cheaper one and I was fine with the condition. Most of the PIL singles seemed to be UK pressings and sometime a little harder to collect.
100% agree with you on the cheap bins; for $1 or $2 is a steal for material that you may never see again. It's happened to me quite a bit. The original "With Sympathy" is rising in price over the years and I'm happy that it was re-released, sometimes I don't agree with the $31.99 price tag but depends how long you actually want to wait. Just pull the trigger and treat yourself with some quality music.
Wish you good luck on scoring those missing pieces of your collection (Want List as we say it in the Vinyl Community). Your comment is absolutely well-appreciated. Keep those videos flowing; you have a huge audience.

Hi Robert. Through the years, I always thought their material was "spot on". Their sound was an Energizing Synth-pop that was perfect for all the clubs in the mid to late 80's. I would love to get the "Youthquake" LP and maybe (1) more 12" single. Thanks for tuning in to my channel and be on the lookout for more videos coming soon.

Hi, World Destruction by Bambatta and Lydon is an amazing track. Everything about that track is perfect and the thing that takes it to another level of brilliance is the intelligent lyrics. Rise is also a brilliant track. I have both tracks on original and re-issued 12" single. I also have World Destruction on cd single.
Have you heard / got the 12" single of Mama by Genesis ? That is another amazing track. Personally i don`t like any other Genesis tracks but Mama is really heavy. The reason i mention Mama is because it has a similar heavy rhythm like P.I.L`s track Rise and the synth sounds on Mama are really atmospheric. When i used to DJ i used to mix Mama and Rise together.
The Cure have made loads of excellent tracks. I have all their albums and cd singles but i only have a couple of 12" singles by them. Their 12" singles are really expensive. I wish they would produce box sets containig all of their 12" singles with replica sleeve art and mixes. Just like Depeche Mode are currently doing with their 12" back catalogue.
Have you heard the Cure track A Forest ? That is a unique sounding track. The Bass line on that track is brilliant. The original 12" of A Forest is near impossible to get and costs a fortune. The same with their 12" of Primary. I think it was only released on 12" in Australia and it costs a fortune.
Recently i`ve been buying Banshees 12" singles and 7" singles. The Banshees version of the passenger is excellent, Siouxsie has a brilliant voice. The Original written by Iggy Pop is also excellent. My favourite 12" versions by them that i currently own are Happy House, Dear Prudence and Spellbound. I`m definitely gonna get more of their 12" singles.
Thanks for sharing your great collection with us. Cheers from England.

Hello my friend, always love your passion for music and valuable information provided. Yes Indeed on The Cure 12" singles are expensive; when I binge on Discogs with their material, it's well-noted that I'm not getting any till the prices go down (much further down). Happy with my "Mixed Up" LP - awesome material. And yes, I heard "A Forest" and thought it was a unique track as well.
"Dear Prudence" is a 12" single I would like to own in my collection. I think their LP's are pretty pricey, but I'll pick it up in my local record store if opportunity and savings are in the mix.
When I get some time, I'll take all your recommendations and listen to the tracks. Also, I'll leave another comment and let you know what I think. Music is Power and we must continue this quest. Hopefully another visit to the record store will provide another video. Soon!

Hot Tracks was interesting because it provided rare mixes of songs that didn’t get a commercial remix release - case in poiint, “Love Is A Stranger.” Sometimes the extended edits worked, sometimes not. I have the 17-disc Best Of Hot Tracks 15th Anniversary and luckily bought it 8 years ago before the price skyrocketed. One of its best remix edits is “Need You Tonight/Mediate” by INXS. One of the worst ones is Prince’s “When Doves Cry.”

Hello my 80's friend, thanks for laying out some Hot Tracks info. Seems that the earlier releases had quite a bit of "unknowns" - maybe 1 or 2 bangers with nice mixes. There was only (1) other Hot Tracks with "Love is a Stranger"; think it was a volume 5 but even more expensive and over 8 minutes long for the track.
Wow - Congrats on the 17-disk set! You must have all the killer mixes of New Wave and Synth-pop iconic classics. Figured the INXS material would be really good. Thanks again for the information and stay tuned because I really, really want to make another trip to the Record Store... definitely my passion.
